Established in 2003.

Dashing Diva nail salons have been in business for over ten years. This particular Dashing Diva is under new management & ownership starting October 2014.

Eric, The small business owner of Dashing Diva Nail Lounge in Greenpoint is working with Dashing Diva to bring exciting new products and services to the local residents of Greenpoint, Williamsburg, Long Island City and the rest of NYC.

Our team here will continue to strive for top quality and innovative service. Our new Design Center hosts the latest and newest nail design products from Dashing Diva.

Dashing Diva is a very well run nail salon. On the weekends it’s a little busy but they will try their best to accommodate you.
The place is clean, and spacious. The playlist is fun and when I came they were playing a funny show from Netflix on their large TV. As soon as I came I was asked if I wanted Tea or Water. Johanna was prompt and friendly. She works meticulously and does exactly what you want her to do.
I noticed they have a great variety of nail polish that you could choose from. They are neatly organized and you can easily find a color of your liking. The basic mani-​pedi is just enough for a good clean up, Johanna did such a good job that next time I might get the fancier options.
If you’re a first time customer and check in on Unilocal you’ll get 5% discount on their services. You can also tip when you pay with your credit/​debit card. If you give them your name and number they’ll add you on their loyalty program which gives you points every time you come in. I don’t know how it works but it’s always nice to get a little discount for being a loyal customer. Overall, I was very pleased and will be coming back.

Great service, clean and cute salon. The staff was very kind and attentive and they offered water or tea right when I got in. The gel manicure and pedicure are extremely affordable, a steal really. I would highly recommend this place!

The worst manicure I’ve ever had in the city… Dash diva is using old OPI nail polishes which are not stored properly.
The nail polish they used was very liquid and the color was not as it’s supposed to be… the day after it already started to peel off !

Super nice, caring and helpful staff and technicians. Facility is super clean and the services are as advertised and top-​notch! They have some awesome magazines and sweet shows and movies on while you relax. Highly recommend!

Me and my friend stopped by here and everyone was very helpful. We decided on a date and time where we could get our nails done together.
We both got virtual nails done. I got metallic and she got a glitter graduation. I had a lady called Joanna, she was very polite, meticulous, gave me a little massage when I was waiting for the gel coat to dry and some lavender oil mini hand massage as well inc in the price.
The only reason I give a 4 star is my friend did not have the best experience, she has some glue stuck on top of a few nails and underneath you can also see the glue and she was also cut during the process. I believe she will go back to get this fixed as the owner of this salon is lovely and checked up on us regularly and asked us how it was, but after a day or so they look worse. But I wanted to give a review on my own experience I had personally and with Joanna. I will definitely be back and requesting her to do my nails.

Carmen was amazing! She made me feel welcomed and comfortable. She spent a long time making my nails perfect and gave me the best mani/​pedi and massage of my life!
Ps: I do wish that this nail salon would consider carrying Zoya nail polish or other more natural brands.

Really happy I made the trek to Greenpoint to visit Dashing Diva. I’m usually a cheap mani/​pedi type of girl, with a few events coming up including my birthday decided I was going to finally make an appointment at Primp & Polish as I have been wanting to since I moved to the neighborhood. After a rude front desk girl and so so reviews I decided if I’m going to spend the $$$ might as well go somewhere worth it, so ended up at Dashing Diva. Upon entering I was told 30 minute wait, I was in no hurry so decided to wait (they do take reservations), I was offered water or tea and taken back to let my feet soak. Just about 30 minutes to the dot my pedicure and gel mani started. I was extremely pleased with the attention to detail and «extras» I.e. Foot scrub, oil and new sealed/​sanitized utensils + awesome movies playing (who doesn’t love 13 going on 30?!?). I was looking for a design on nail and did not realize that this place did not hand paint but offered tons of nail stickers and designs; luckily the sweet lady who did my nails free handed what I wanted (as it was simple). Overall very happy with my visit and will DEF be back when I am in need of a good mani/​pedi– thanks Dashing Diva

Less than 2 weeks away from my due date, my sister & I wandered through Greenpoint looking to get a little pampering session in with some manis & pedis. We have always passed by Dashing Diva but never have tried them out. We figured we’d give it a go. We walked in on a Wednesday afternoon with no appointment. Asked for manis & pedis with a gel removal for myself. The nice gentleman told us it would only be a few minute wait & to choose our polishes. Color choices were outstanding. 2 of every color, which is great when you watch someone else snag the color you had your eye on. It looks like they have a great selection of gel colors available as well.
We barely waited 5 minutes before we were taken for our pedicures. No massaging chairs here, but I found the cushions & pillows to be very comfortable, even with my pregnancy aches & pains. The ladies here are ATTENTIVE. They were always asking if we needed anything, if we were comfortable, our preferences, etc. Pedicure was great & relaxing. My manicure looks fantastic. Nails shaped beautifully. Engaged in great conversation. I wish I got the names of the women who took care of us because they were great.
Manicure, pedicure, & gel removal came out to $ 45. Totally worth every penny in my eyes. This place is a gem & I am so glad I got to pamper myself here before the baby! I will definitely be back!

You know what? This is why sometimes, I’m willing to pay more money for a mani-​pedi, and eyebrow waxing than usual; for the simple fact that I can listen to music that soothes my soul, courtesy of Adele, Sam Cooke, and Ingrid Michaelson. For the simple fact that the polish colors are systematically organized, making my choices plenty, but easy enough to find. For the fact that I have the option to choose green tea or water for my drink. The fact that it smells so good in here. And for even further facts, the place is quiet, they have good customer service, and are very meticulous. So meticulous that I was starting to think the lady doing my mani-​pedi was taking too long. I didn’t get her name, but shout out to her for doing my nails and shout out to the guy that I think runs the shop.

Wow what a great place! Everyone who works here is SO attentive and really wants to make sure you are happy.
They give you massages while your nails are drying and continue to ask if you need anything even after you pay. What a truly lovely place and for SUCH a deal!

I finally went back about 3 weeks ago and I can say very pleased with what gel manicure. To be honest I had a special technician that did my nails but I can actually recommend this nail salon now.
The gel manicure lasted over 2 weeks– the only complaint that I have is that all my nails weren’t filed evenly but overall it was a great job!
I’m going back today for a bridal party spa manicure/​pedicure so I will also review the pedicure that she does.
I have no rule if I do go to Dashing Diva– I want the same lady that did my nails last time cause she knows exactly what she’s doing and I guess she’s the best!

I decided to treat myself to a manicure and pedicure for my birthday. After checking reviews of all of the other places in Greenpoint, I decided to go with Dashing Diva Nail Lounge. Immediately upon walking in, I was greeted and told there would be someone available in ten minutes to do my mani/​pedi. They have a huge selection of colors, both of classic and trendier options.
The guy working behind the counter seated me right away. I think he thought someone would be free sooner than the were, so my feet got a very long soak. The girl who did both my manicure and pedicure was very meticulous. She took her time, and as a result, my nails looked perfect! The pedicure still looks awesome two weeks later, and the manicure lasted about five or six days with very tiny chips.
The only thing I didn’t like about this salon was that they don’t have massage chairs, which is something I look forward to when getting my nails done.

I’m a fan of the Dashing Diva chain, and this is a particularly nice and spacious outpost. Very cutely decorated and clean, and they give you a quick neck/​back massage as your nails are drying.
Minus 1 star because they charge an extra $ 3 for a manicure with CND polishes because «they last longer.» This is really lame; no other salon I’ve been to does this.

Good solid mani and pedi. My total time there was close to two hours because the technician took her time and was extremely meticulous. Prices are higher than most places but you will have a much better experience than some of the other places. I came here after having had too many shoddy experiences at other places in the neighborhood, including my former go to spot (see previous reviews).
I did get three teeny rhinestones added to two nails and they charged an extra $ 10 for it which was ridiculous. Others who get nail art have more more detailed work or go all out with the bling. I also thought it was weird that they show off their nail art ability but when I asked the technician about it she seemed clueless to what I was talking about.
That being said I will definitely be back given the general competence of their staff :-)

This place sucks. It’s the equivalent of sitting on a upright hard lawn chair having someone who doesn’t give a crap paint your nails. I had the worst lady. So bad I actually laughed and she kind of smirked because she knew she didn’t care and wasn’t even making a effort.
I was originally going to get a mani as well but this lady was the worst I didn’t want to waste more money. I will never return to this place or dumb chain. No massage chairs? No real massage to your feet? Just rushed unprofessional people who speak in their language laughing at how little they care. Going down the street to get a better experience for way less.

My review would be for the Brazilian wax services in this place. I did not see any reviews for that in here yet and thought that mine would be helpful.
I knew that this place primarily specializes in nail services. It looks fantastic, clean, cute and comfortable! The staff is super friendly and happy!
I have been doing wax for a year now, every 3 weeks, thus I consider myself a seasoned waxer :). Grace was my esthetician. She is very lovely and extremely thorough however, I don’t believe that she is a trained esthetician. Waxing is painful and thus it’s usually tried to get done in 3 or 4 strikes, 10 min max. Grace worked with multiple small areas, stripping one spot several times (again, she was thorough). The entire process of waxing took 30 min (not exaggerating). The goal was achieved, I got it done but geez! it was the longest and thus, the most painful wax experience I have ever had.
Conclusion: I will not return and will not advice anybody to go there for Brazilian. I may go back for mani/​padi w girls cause it looks like it could be awesome!
And just to reiterate, the place is great, workers are nice, Grace was lovely just lacking skills for that type of service.

It was my birthday, so I decided to treat myself to a special mani/​pedi. I didn’t get gel, tips just my natural short nails. I have to say that it wasn’t so special but it was very expensive. My bill came to $ 63. I chose this place because the reviews said how clean it was. I went on a Sunday and when I arrived at 10:30 am, I was told to wait about 5−−10 mins. Because they had to clean up a bit. I was the only one there and they opened at 10:00 am.
The nail technician assigned to me was «LINDA». She did the mani/​pedi okay, however, she lacked the ability to communicate in English. When she spoke, it was barely audible and it sounded like she was mumbling (very irritating). I just didn’t feel like complaining… heck, it was my birthday! She acted like she had no energy when she massaged my legs and arms. Needless to say, I was not satisfied, and will not spend my money at that salon again. Oh by the way, I enjoyed the music!

I loved this salon immediately upon arrival. The place is just so adorable.
I always get gel mani because I bartend and my nails chip religiously so that’s what I got.
The staff is welcoming and nice and did a thorough job. They didn’t butcher my cuticles which I really appreciated. It’s been 2 weeks and my nails still look great. Will def be back if I’m in the area.
