I go to this salon SOLELY for the purpose of getting my hair done by belkis(not sure on spelling) but she is a short light skinned lady with black hair with a great personality and talented hands. I’ve been doing my hair with her for years at this point and I’ve followed her to 3 diff salons lol… go MONSTRABELLA! :) wash & set– $ 20, +$ 5 for deep conditioner.

I went to this salon with a friend because generally I’m not picky about my haircuts. It was fairly a good experience but when I got home i realized that my hair cut was uneven. I called this morning to speak to a manager or the owner so we can discuss what can be done about my uneven cut. A man answered the phone and hung up on me twice. When I asked him why did he hang up the first time he said he wasn’t obligated to give out information of the managers/owners. When I explained what my issue was he hung up on me. At this point I don’t know if I’m going to get my hair cut fixed, but I do know this: I won’t ever return nor will I recommend this salon to anyone.

When I first came in the salon, I asked the owner about my hair. The price was reasonable. She recommended me to get deep conditioner because my hair was very dry. The original price was 35 then she added 5 dollars for deep conditioner. I asked her to flat my hair with flat iron. She charged me more for that! 50 bucks. I was like wth but decided to pay and not come back. I rather to go to another salon in Brooklyn where they don’t charge me for doing flat iron on my hair!
