Great store — especially following ownership change a few years ago. While not an enormous place, there is a good selection that hits an assortment of price points. Staff is attentive and helpful

Cozy store with a solid selection and a variety of price points. More importantly, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I’m still learning about wine and purchased a Barolo a friend had recommended without realizing the level to which it needed to be aerated, and the gentleman behind the counter was nice enough to remind me to use a decanter without making me feel like an idiot. I appreciated that. PS they also have samples fairly frequently(I think usually Fridays) which is a bonus.

I purchased a bottle of wine and after trying it it was spoiled. I brought it back a few days later and the associate helping me allowed me to exchange the bottle for the same value. Nice environment… need more kosher choices!

When someone recommends a new wine or type of liquor to try, where do I head first? Delauren, of course. For such a small space, they have a surprisingly good selection(or they have great taste just like my friends and acquaintances) that is reasonably priced. I also like the sampling days(usually on a Friday which is a great way to unwind after a long week of work).

I came in here looking for some alcohol to bring on a weekend trip. I knew I wouldn’t be back in Brooklyn in time to buy it there so I had no choice to but to buy it in Manhattan. After asking a few people for the nearest liquor store without getting any information, I decided to just walk on Eight Avenue and try my luck. I saw this store and came in. It is a pretty decent sized liquor store with a varied selection to choose from. I decided to buy a fifth of Skyy Vodka. It was chepaer than I expected, maybe just one or two dollars more than I would have paid in Brooklyn. The cashier was very nice.

I live nearby and am moving soon and this is the ONE business in the area that I will trek back to my old neighborhood for. They have a great selection, by far the best prices of any other liquor store in the area, AND they are really happy to help you with selecting items. Every time I’ve been here I’ve left happy and constantly surprised by their GREAT customer service. Note: Yes it’s not pretty, but does that really matter?

This place has a killer selection of wines from every major wine producing region in the world. Although the size and selection maybe intimidating, you should find Peter and ask for his help on picking a wine for the night.

Very nice staff, good selection. Not a pretty store, but gets the job done. They deliver too, which is great since I live up near MSG and it’s kind of a wasteland there…

A high 3.5 review — here’s why: It’s my nabe liquor/wine shop and it’s always been good to me — great late hours, 7 days a week service, large selection, and always some good cheapo wine for chillin’ at home. I somehow still always get carded, which is a good thing I suppose. What more can one ask? Well, there is no expert sommelier here to help you through the various wine regions of the world; also isn’t all that attractive — nothing here but you, me, alcohol, and the carding dude. But who can say we need all that? Just gimme the booze!
