Alive 55+ and kickin. This musical is amazing!!! Age range from 55 to 76 & they all looked & sounded AMAZING! Everyone’s story was a true life story & some of the things they had to overcome was short of a miracle! Worth seeing again!

Went here to see my friend Trevanne Howell perform in «Sing Harlem Sing» she was awesome her solos she performed were phenomenal. The whole cast was very lively and they performed some heart wrenching soul stirring gospel it was awesome !

Easily accessible from the 125^th St. subway station. I attended a Christian stage play and had a great time. It’s a pretty big theater, but with disgusting bathrooms.

I was here last year in Harlem for the famous re-​launching of the MAMA I WANT TO SING concert. Vy Higginsen is behind this production just like she was with the original Production team years and years ago. Chaka Khan and even Desiree Coleman were stars of the original productions. Great job by all the performers. This year it will be launched again but later in March of this year. It opened originally in Harlem in 1983.
–Vy Higginsen’s own daughter Knoelle Higginsen is main star of the play. Her range is impressive especially when she hit the multi-​octave range. This year Celebrates 30 years in the theater world, March 23 it will be back at Manhattan: Dempsey Theatre. The location is actually inside a school. Great gospel presentation, even for someone who normally probably does not even listen to Gospel music.
