Dersh Feather specializes in raw and dyed fancy feathers. (We do not carry feathers for stuffing ski jackets or down comforters). Fancy feathers include all the feathers you see on costumes in Broadway shows such as Lion King, on the bodies of such famous personages as Big Bird, Cher, Bette Midler and Miss Piggy (although not necessarily in that order), on clothing, in wedding centerpieces, as boas for those ladies in red hats, on headbands and stickpins and small, medium and large feather fans and virtually any feather that is visible to your eye. We stock thousands of Feather Pads — Pheasant Pads, Peacock Pads, Hackle Pads, Duck Pads, Goose Pads, Coque Pads, Schloppen Pads, Guinea Pads, Fancy Pads with four different types of feathers blended to make a snazzy little creation suitable for earrings, headbands or whatever. Dersh Feather has been supplying ostrich and fancy feathers to just about every industry you can imagine. Movies, milliners, Broadway, clothing designers, toy manufacturers, to name just a few. Custom dyeing is offered. We strive to give the best possible service. Three generations, and still going strong. We must be doing something right. Our customers love our ostrich, marabou, turkey, rooster, pheasant, goose, etc. etc. Our plumes, boas, fascinators, pads, peacock feathers, headdresses, feather fans and much more are present at almost every West Indian parade, Mexican carnival and circus. Over thirty-​five years in the feather business, and still loving it! I really enjoy working with a designer, the dye shop and the manufacturing arm of Dersh Feather — to make the designer’s vision come true. Of course, if someone needs feather boas for giveaways at their party — I enjoy supplying them with what they want. It’s easy — and people who need feathers for a party are most always happy happy people. After all, they’re throwing a fabulous party. (Who doesn’t like happy happy people)? My Buddy, Jay, is a third generation feather man. Between the two of us we have decades of feather experience. Visitors are welcome at our place. If you need «feather advice» — we’re here for you. Custom boas, curled ostrich, fascinators, pheasant, rooster, marabou, peacock, plumes of all sizes (some very large), lush fans of several sizes — made to your specifications — no problem.
