Brought my stuff here after going to a cheaper dry cleaner that didnt get an easy stain out of my white shirt, seemed like all they did was steam it. I explained this problem to the nice girl at Divine, and they had no problem getting it out. Definitely worth the extra few bucks to go here, only because I think the cheaper places don’t actually clean your stuff!

I wish I could give ZERO stars. I took a pair of pants here to get altered(I needed them to add an inch to the length). When I went to pick them up, they charged me $ 24!!! Turns out they charged me $ 16 for dry cleaning that I didn’t ask for, and they never even lengthened the pants!!! The girl refunded me $ 8 since they never did the work I asked them to do, but then she claimed that I asked them to dry clean the pants!!! Why on earth would I dry clean cotton pants that can be machine washed!!! In any case, she claimed that I requested dry cleaning, so I never got back the $ 16. I went here because it’s close to my office, but I realize now that it’s a total sham. They overcharge(no doubt just to take advantage of the tourist, Plaza hotel crowd), and they are completely dishonest. Avoid at all costs.

Terribly rude customer services and they damage clothes without compensating at all and blame it on the customer. The owner has no manner, no sense of responsibility. I had my new shirt dry cleaned and got back with a hole in it– apparently made by the machine press, which what I ordered was a hand press. Whoever wants to go to them should be careful– not for high end garments and designer clothes. Very disappointing and ruined the good old reputation it built years ago. I changed my dry cleaner ever since. Don’t go there.

I see most people have not given a review in years so, I think the service may have changed. This joint is a racket! Over priced and rude service. The guy running the place needs a lesson in manners. I love this Eco friendly bs that the cleaners all sell, yet they gouge the consumer and this is one place that loves to gouge. With all the dry cleaners in NYC this is a place to avoid rip off at it’s best!

The customer service and the laundering is exceptional. The prices are better than most of this caliber. I have had alterations done in addition to dry cleaning. I recently purchased some high fashion vintage clothing, and can’t think of any place else I would trust more. Tell Mary I said hello and recommended you! She will bless you with a great smile! lol

It’s convenient to my office rather than my home, so I only take the occasional suit or pair of slacks. Cleaning is always well done, and the prices for those items are within reason. But $ 6 to dryclean a men’s dress shirt is insane — won’t do that again anytime soon. Staff is always very friendly.

Fabulous golden-touch and non smelly/itchy dry cleaning. Slacking on delivery sometimes, but always friendly. Highly recommend

I started using this place a few years ago after searching and searching for an organic dry cleaner. I absolutely love the service I get here. The couple that run the shop are sweet and wonderful and will do just about anything to make sure that my clothes turn out exactly as I like. I often find that they repair things automatically, even when I forget to mention that there is a tear or something missing. I feel like such a perfect eco-nerd princess when I use this place. I will admit that sometimes my stains do not come out as well as I would like, but honestly, that is a small price to pay knowing I am helping the myself, the earth, and the lovely people that run this wonderful place. It is expensive, but I can’t recommend it enough. I don’t even live in Manhattan, but I schlep my stuff into the city before work, once a month or so, and schlep it home. And I return my hangers.
