Nice clean salon but I was mislead when I ask for an SNS powder manicure. This is not a service they provide, instead they have dipping powder which requires glue to be applies directly to your nail. I still went through with the manicure which I already regret a couple days later. I would return for a normal manicure but not for this specific one.

Fell in love with this place but am now conflicted as they used a metrocard to remove the dipping powder layer off of my nail… I’m so disappointed
I also wish they’d do a better job of removing the residue left on my fingers and behind my nails when done with the whole dipping powder process…

This place is great. I had my eyelashes done, and this was by far best job I have had. Much better than the places down in midtown or the other subpar places in Harlem. Two thumbs way up.

Ok. So I’ve been here twice and have hated both gel manicures I’ve gotten. The first girl who did my nails just did a bad job. It looked cakey, if that makes any sense, as if she layered too many coats. (She only did 2 coats so I don’t understand) I decided to come back and give it another try and I made sure to choose a different girl this time and it was pretty good. Until a week later my gel mani freaking chipped! I have never had a gel manicure chip on me and I’ve had it done in crappy places before. I will NOT come back. Ever. I don’t have it in me to give this place a third try

Today I had the pleasure of getting my nails done by Dee Dee. I was able to get a new combination to ensure my nails last a few weeks with doing the regular gel manicure. My nails look as if they should be in a magazine! I can’t remember the last time I was so happy with my nails. Thank you Doree! See you in 4 – 6 weeks

Was in Saturday for a pedicure (decided to try Doree since I usually go to other places in the area). The pedicure was overpriced and the woman who gave my pedicure got nail polish on my toes and didn’t clean it off before letting me go, so I had to take it off myself with nail polish remover when I got home. The pedicure was fine, but nothing to write home about. The salon is relatively clean (though they kept dropping instruments on the floor and then using them on people’s feet/​hands) and has a good ambiance, but i was surprised at the prices. They were higher than a lot of Midtown pedicure prices, but up in Harlem.

If you want to do UV-​gel DO NOT GO THERE! I’ve tried this place three times and it was disappointing disaster. And they are not cheap at all.
Also, they speak bad about customers in Chinees just because they sure that no one can understand them.

Im sorry but gotta be honest. This review is for waxing and the person did not know what she was doing. She wasn’t one bit of a professional. She was collecting so much wax on the paper cloth, that it was hurting me because she was removing patches of hair with so much wax on them. Waxing took over 40 mins, when it was just legs. I expected a bit more and unfortunately i wont go back.

While this place is cute and clean and the utensils are sterile, the nail tech I had named «Icy» just didnt measure up. I went in for a mani-​pedi and ended up leaving. I didnt even let her paint my feet. Thats how awful my pedi was. My cuticles were jagged and dry and she was getting ready to paint them anyway. When I asked her to clean them up, she didnt. So I checked out and she had the AUDACITY to ask me if I was going to put my tip on the card or pay cash. hahahahaha! I have no problems tipping well for great service but I didnt get that here. Had to walk to FUMIC to have them clean up what «Icy» messed up and tipped my nail tech $ 15. I recommend them or AKIKO nail salon on the Lower East Side or SoHo Nail. They are all great salons with superior techs that offer superior service!

Excellent! This is one of the best experiences I’ve had at a salon in a long time. My nail tech was very knowledgeable about the processes they use for tips and gel, it made me feel like they care about their health and the health of their customers. The place itself was very clean and had a calming ambiance. I think I found my regular place :)

This place is so cute! I walked in on a sunday afternoon after church, and although there was a bit of a wait (30 mins), it was well worth it!
My nail tech took such good care of me and my nubby nails, they look fab! It was a very peaceful environment, calming music playing in the background, and gorgeous lighting. My mani cost $ 12 which is not bad at all. They have many colors and brands available to choose from.
It was really refreshing to get my nails done here, def will be back, but with an appointment! Several patrons came in and made appointments, so that’s definitely what I’ll do for next time.

Wow! What a terrific new addition to the neighborhood. So much so, that I’m willing to walk all the way west from 3^rd Ave in the 120s just for a mani/​pedi.
Not only is the interior clean, attractive and comfortable, I really felt that they were paying special attention to me and making sure that my nails were on point when I left. I came here for a little birthday treat yesterday and the lady was nice enough to give me a free hand lotion. So sweet!
Yes, it’s a little more expensive than other nail places in the neighborhood, but considering that they do a paraffin treatment and other extras during their usual services, you really get what you pay for.

Walking into their salon you’ll hear lovely meditation making the enviorment very serene, their salon is beautiful and clean. However, I went on a Thursday afternoon at 6 PM and was told there’s a 15 minute wait… 15 minutes turned into 37 minutes… I left to another nail salon a block over and they took me as soon as I walked in.

I wanted this place to be my nail spot. I’ve been there five times. They are super clean, friendly, hygienic and convenient for me. They are pricier which I don’t mind paying, the problem? The five times I’ve been there only one girl was able to do a great manicure.
First, they don’t put your hands in a water bowl to throughly clean your nails (which annoys me), the one who does the manicure well is either the owner or a manager (she’s tall, long hair and slender) each time I would come in she’s busy cleaning or doing the sign (for outside) and has the other girls do the nails. The manicure would look nice but within a couple hours would start to chip, and the nail dryer does not blow warm air, so the nails do not dry properly. My last time there, the manicure was so horrible after it was done, I walked up the block to forever lucky nail and had them redo my manicure. I’m really sad, I won’t be coming here any longer.

I am so happy to find a good nail salon in my Harlem neighborhood. Dorée Nails & Spa is great, new, clean, with excellent technicians. Alice did my pedicure and DeDe did my manicure with a bit of nail art. I’m happy and will be back. Lucky for me I live next door! I will be back. My suggestion is to make an appointment in the evening hours! Try Dorée out, you won’t be disappointed!

Just came from this salon. Very positive experience. The nail technician was very nice and did a great job. The place itself was very attractive and clean. Calm atmosphere and decent prices.
I definitely would go back. Pretty crowded for a Sunday morning, so plan ahead.

This place just opened in July. It is one of the top nail salons in Harlem. The women here are very professional and great at what they do. Lately they have had a huge rise in customers and they sometimes have to turn customers away because they don’t want to keep people waiting (which I think is smart). I also come here to get my eyebrows done, I prefer threading and Dee is really talented at it. They sometimes offer discounts on various treatments so be sure to check in with them. They take cards as a form of payment even for tip. They are right next to Mist restaurant and café so you can grab a latte and relax while you get treated.

I’ve been here once and I thought it was okay despite the bit of wait. Nothing spectacular but not bad. It was clean, updated appliances, quiet. I went today they said 25 minute wait– fine I said I would be back. I came back, there were more people waiting. I asked how long and she said, 1 hour. Wtf. I didn’t bother arguing and just left. I was more mad that in those 25 minutes I could’ve gone somewhere else. I don’t have time for that kind of crap. I suggest making an appointment if you plan on going.

Very nice and very neat spot uptown. The pedi seats were super comfortable and everything was super clean and calm. I did the Gel Mani and regular pedi. This might be the neatest mani I have ever gotten.

I’ve been looking for a nail spa in east Harlem that isn’t sketchy and dies a pretty good job.
Overall, I had a good experience. The place is clean, they keep all their tools and workspaces clean, and the technicians are nice.
The price is pretty comparable but my selling point is that’s it’s close to my apt and I walked away satisfied.

So I went in for the gel M and reg. ped special for $ 48. The spa was super clean and fresh. I went at the right time and was seen right away. I don’t always get my nails done but when I do I listen to music. I didn’t want to listen to my music because their meditation CD was so relaxing and soothing I wanted to listen to that. Nail spas are usually loud and sometimes have a tv on. This place was quiet and relaxing. I hope it stays that way. The mani/​pedi was great, the gel french tip was decent.
At the end of my treatment I had what I believed to be enough for the bill and a tip. After charging me $ 10 extra for French tip and tax I was 90 cents short. I wish I had been informed of that when I asked for French tip gel M. Maybe I’m naïve, I don’t get my nails done very often, maybe I should have asked. Anyway, of course I couldn’t go without tipping so I had to walk my pregnant ass all the way back to Lexington to get my debit card, walk to an ATM, back to 5^th Ave to pay the 90cents and tip, and walk all the way back. Not cool in this humidity and swollen feet.
They did a good job, I can’t criticize them for that, but there was a lack of communication that led to paying more than anticipated.
