DUMBO Startup Lab is a community hub for entrepreneurs, designers and innovators focused on tech & web development. John C.
Business Owner
John is Chief Organizer of DUMBO Startup Lab, a coworking community for startups, entreprenuers and creatives in Brooklyn. At DSL, he focuses on growing membership, improving member experience and curating high quality events.
At DUMBO Startup Lab, I get to pursue my passion for entrepreneurship, work alongside inspiring people every day and fulfill my purpose of helping others. Whether I’m working with our members to help them solve problems, connecting two people who can help each other out or just providing a cozy home in a crazy place like NYC, running DSL is rewarding on many levels. The flexibility of being my own boss also allows me to continue to give back to the greater NYC community as a mentor with STOKED! and a board member of the NYC Chapter of Surfrider Foundation.
