East Village Psychic Readings by Dana

Here is some background info about me if you haven’t yet read any of my other reviews of psychics. In addition to being a scientific/​engineering consultant, I’m a mystic, spiritual healer and intuitive. When I travel, I often get readings from local psychics — all strangers to me – wherever I visit.
Since I’m a mystic, my life is filled with Divine grace, and I’m happy and at peace. I want to stress the fact that when I get a reading, I’m not seeking help with any problems, nor answers to questions, nor am I seeking spiritual guidance. Rather, I visit psychics and ask for a life reading only because God/​Source asks me to do so, and to have a fun way of connecting with other practitioners of the metaphysical arts; I see them as metaphysical colleagues.
So, when reading my reviews of psychics here, it may be VERY helpful for you to bear in mind that I did not visit them with any problems, questions, or wishes in mind, nor with any «neediness». Because of this, your own experience with the same psychic might be very different than mine. In other words, your mileage may vary!
BTW, my reviews of psychics are for their psychic readings only, and never for any additional services that they might offer, such as healings, cleansings, or spiritual guidance.
Walking west on 1^st St. at about 1 PM on August 27, I noticed this shop and its sidewalk sign, walked in and asked for a reading. The woman who gave me the reading was, I presume, Dana. She seemed to be between 25 and 30 years of age. She was quite pleasant and friendly, and had a ready smile. Her daughter, who was about 4 years old, toddled into the reading room a few times during the reading to visit her mother, each time followed by a tiny dog.
Once we were seated in the reading room at the front of her shop, I asked Dana (who had first offered me a $ 2 special quickie reading, which I’d declined) for her fees for a full tarot reading and a single palm reading, and then paid her $ 70 for a tarot reading, plus $ 20 for a palm reading, along an extra $ 10 as a tip.
As I always do when getting a reading, this was a totally cold reading: I told her, prior to the start, only my first name, date/​place of birth, and that I now lived in MD, and that I was visiting NYC and staying in a hotel. I told her nothing more about myself until after the reading had ended.
Dana’s reading was quite accurate, but, as is true with many storefront psychics, she offered a number of seemingly-​random snippets of info about my past, starting before my birth, including some rather accurate specific information about my parents and grandparents. She said little that was inaccurate, and most of the info that she offered was very specific and detailed, and could never have been guessed in a million years. Among other things, she correctly reported that my mother (now long-​deceased) had almost miscarried twice while carrying me; she also described accurately my very domineering & controlling maternal grandmother, and the fact that she had strong psychic abilities.
Dana reported, quite early in the reading, that I was a mystic and spiritual healer, and an intuitive, and that I was surrounded by a great number of helpful guides and angels who support my spiritual work and protect me. She also accurately described several women in my life who are close to me.
Most notably, she accurately reported that I’ve never had any children; this is quite remarkable, because the vast majority of psychics who give me readings blithely tell me, incorrectly, that I have 2 or 3 adult female children. Dana correctly perceived that I had been told by God at an early age that I would never have children, and that rather, in my adulthood, all members of the human race would be my «children» in terms of my spiritual work.
Dana did try two minor attempts at upsells; she told me that I was the target of a lot of negativity and jealousy from unhappy envious people, and offered to sell me a blessed crystal or stone to protect me from the negativity; she also predicted future troubles in a relationship with a woman, and offered to remove those «obstacles» for a fee. Both upsell efforts were very low-​key and very low-​pressure. In each case, I politely declined her offer.
I have reasons to believe that an older woman, likely Dana’s mother, may also sometimes give readings from this same shop. So, if getting a reading here, you may want to bear in mind that the psychic who gave me a reading, and who is the sole subject of this review, was a warm and polite young woman in her mid to late 20s, with a pleasant smile and friendly demeanor. She had dark olive skin, indicating Eastern European or Mediterranean origins.
The entire reading lasted at least 40 minutes, and we had a friendly chat after the reading had ended. Fun reading!
