Really good chocolates, much cheaper than if you’re going to a fancier chocolate shop. I highly recommend the pistachio chocolates.
They’ve also got a large assortment of big brand name candies and foreign brands. If you’re not sure what you want, you’ll definitely find something there.

Store is amazing I felt like a kid again. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is I felt one guy that works there was having some attitude with me but I love the store so much I want to give the benefit of the doubt that his face and tone are just naturally set a little off.

This is an amazing candy store that even carries British candies. They have every jelly bean you could think of and m&ms too. They also have a great assortment of novelty gag candies as well. I can easily spend way too much money here and over the long in I probably will. Great place for sour candy lovers as well.

Sure, it’s not as pretty and bright as Dylan’s Candy Bar, but the inventory is massive, even in this small store. I can only imagine that the neighborhood kids must visit quite often. Candy from around the world, naughty candy, vintage candy, gum balls sorted by color, oversized lollipops, the place has it all.
After paying for much of what my daughter wanted, I was able to walk out with a smile. The prices are economical (see what I did there?) and fair. Unlike the pain I feel when at the register at Dylan’s Candy Bar.
This is a great store, I only wish I was in the area more often.

Hands down the best candy shop in Manhattan. This small store is packed with candies from throughout the past 50 years, bringing back childhood candies you haven’t seen in years. And prices are very fair.
I came before making gingerbread houses with my little cousins. I returtned home with a bag of candy for less than $ 15 and they were delighted with the selection. This is the perfect place to come for fun, quirky candy gifts or to stock up for a party (or your own house :)).

Huge selection of sweets from all kinds, and I saw here candies that I haven’t seen for more than 10 years. Paradise for candy lovers. They can do better with the customer service, but with the prices, and the amounts of candies, they still a great place for someone who need candies.
Good that there are still places like Economy candy market.

PUUUURRRRFECT candy shop! Loved every sweet second here… Loved the smell of the candy the freshness of the candy and the feel of the CANDY… TOO MUCH? I say not… it was a wonderful adventure… I spent too much on the candy but it was worth it… HOWEVER, now my PAWS are sticky!!!

Wow. So much candy. So much stimulation.
Everyone has already said it — a ton of old school candies, candies from Europe, cheap Ritters, etc. Turns out Crispie is a magical combination of honeycomb and chocolate and sets a new standard for candy bar. They didn’t have my one magical childhood item (sickly sweet red goo you squeezed out of a clear tube), but trust me — they probably will have yours.

WOW! This place truly had me smiling from ear to ear. I stumbled upon this place as I was in the neighborhood for happy hour. Almost missed it because the signage is a bit dark and the windows are FULL OF CANDY.
Any kind of candy you can imagine. Plenty of throwback candies (think candy dots, wax colas). Collectibles for Pez enthusiasts and old metal candy signs. Bulk candy to mix and match. Hand dipped Oreos and pretzels. And it’s all at incredibly reasonable prices. INCREDIBLE prices. An AMAZING place for gifts for people the sweet tooth lovers in your life. A must visit if you are addicted to candy!!!

Oh, Hello Childhood.
Came in here one hot afternoon for a lil’ post brunch treat!
And boy, do they have treats. They have anything and everything your heart can desire, from old vintage candies you loved growing up to newer ones, lots of loose pre measured items (so you can grab 2-​or 12) and everything is so cheap! Probably bought two pounds of stuff for $ 20! Sugar rush here I comeeeeee!

The mini-​Willy Wonka store is packed with candy. I am actually quite surprised when you open the door candy doesn’t come spilling out. You can find retro candy, hard to find candy, candy by the pound, jelly beans by the color and a bunch of other random things. The prices are also very reasonable and almost half the price of It’s Sugar, Sugarfina, and Dylan’s Candy Bar. It might not have the brightest colored wallpapers or cute teddy bear marketing, but at least you won’t be paying a higher markup price because of it. Be warned, you might not enter with cavities and diabetes but you might leave with it.

We’re strolling thru the Lower East Side of Manhattan and we bump into this find, old school candy. We stepped back in time. This place easily reminds me of the splendor of my simplistic childhood and how powerful I felt at the age of six to walk into a corner bodega in Brooklyn armed with a quarter to buy two Chico Stick… with a quarter… those were the days.
This place has nostalgia.
Charleston Chews, Chico Sticks, Mary Jane’s, candy cigarettes (so taboo remember the ones that blew sugared smoke yep they have em), dots, milk duds, Alexander The Grape, Button Candy, flavored jelly beans, waxed cherry flavored lips, jelly rats (yep candied rats its so New Yawk I love it) and soooo much more.
The selection is outrageous.
It’s tight in there but it add to its old school charm.

This place is like the Fountain of Youth, because it made me feel like a kid again.
I saw candies here that I haven’t seen in ages. The selection is awesome, and you can buy in bulk.
And it’s not just candy. You can get comic books. I found a Howard the Duck comic book that I remember buying when it first came out!!! They also sell some toys.
The store is aptly named, because the prices are economical. However, like me, you may be tempted to buy everything!!!

Best candy store on the planet!
this is the real deal, New Yorkers! You cannot find another candy store like this.
It’s a small shop, but they have a lot of really good stuff for ALL ages. It’s definitely a great place to take friends.
Their candy is also sold at a great price. I bought a lot of gum balls and recognized that their prices are significantly cheaper than candy shops in other boros.

This place is a candy lover’s heaven. I have a serious sweet tooth, and this is the best place ever. Funny thing is– it’s 2 blocks away from my dentist, so Economy Candy is keeping me happy as well as keeping my dentist in business! HA!
Anyway, they really do have everything, hard to find stuff like Astronaut Ice Cream (my favorite), Strawberry Charleston Chews, all flavors of Tangy Taffy, HI-​Chews, you get where I’m going…
They also have a ton of hard to find European chocolates, Jelly Bellys and little boxes of gum with smart a** sayings on them.
So even if you don’t have a sweet tooth like me, this place is worth checking out, I guarantee you won’t walk out empty handed!

If you want candy, this is the place to go. First, I really liked the smell inside, kinda sweet. Second, this is the type of place that Manhattan used to be filled with. Third, I love that Economy Candy is still in business and not some stupid bank or overpriced tapas bar. Fourth, they have candy cigarettes! Fifth, they have imported Cadbury chocolate where milk, not sugar, is listed as the first ingredient.
One slight word of caution, check the expiration dates on any candy you buy.

The customer service is hit or miss but the candy selection is spot on and the price is reasonable enough. I bought some old school trading cards with sticks of gum in the package and lots of other goodies for some gifts to send back home. They’ve got themed candy and hard to find favors. Great variety whether your looking for name brand or just chocolate covered almonds.

Des chocolats, des pez, des bonbons wonka, plein de choses qu’on n’a pas chez nous, des centaines et des centaines de références… Tant et bien qu’on a bien du y passer une 20 aine de minutes, le temps d’en faire 3x le tour pour être sûr de né rien avoir oublié.
J’ai ramené une quantité énorme de bonbons pour 60 $, une bonne affaire ;)

Wow, cet endroit est un véritable petit paradis! Chocolats, jelly beans, jujubes… Tout ce à quoi vous pourriez bien penser en matière de friandise est disponible dans un seul et même endroit. Le Economy Candy réunit plusieurs marques de bonbons, plus anciens et plus récents pour le bonheur de tous. De plus, les prix sont plus qu’abordables! Vous trouverez des articles en vrac et des produits emballés. Le local est un peu tassé et les présentoirs pas très esthétiquement placés, mais ce magasin est plus du type petit entrepôt que jolie boutique. Le service est correct et la plupart des employés assez sympathiques! Si vous êtes dans le coin, allez faire des provisions!

Magasin dingue, des bonbons du sol au plafond, vous trouverez ici tout ce que vous désirez. Beaucoup de personnel pour vous indiquer ce que vous cherchez dans ce grand foutoir.
A voir absolument si vous êtes dans les parages. Qui plus est, le quartier est très sympa!
