I really love their fresh fruit juice on a hot summer day. I cannot find such juice spots anywhere else in the city.

Came here and got the zen açai bowl with goji berries and chia seeds. Also tried the oatmeal custard. Both were delicious. Service was quick(I was the only one in the store). The interior could use some touching up. Generally a nice experience.

This spot pales in comparison to other places close-by, and the only reason people spend money there is because it’s proximity to foot traffic right on 6th ave. Go to the juice bar at LifeTyme, only several hundred yards past 9th street. Better service, better product. No brainer.

All of their food is amazing, especially the protein muffins. The macros on them are spot on.

This is just a drop-in shop for juices and smoothies. I made one of each and had them put in containers I could take home. Juice: carrots, pineapple, apple and cucumber. Too much cucumber flavor, which is odd since the flavor is usually very light and more of a ‘filler’. It was a good consistency and flavor minus the overwhelming cucumber. I’ll make sure that if I go again, I skip out on that part. Smoothie: soy milk, peaches, raspberries, bananas, and a few drops of St John’s. The taste was good but a bit bland. It all kind of fizzled out under what I’m assuming was the soy milk. A bit less soy milk and a bit more of the other ingredients and the favors would have been a lot more pronounced, I think. It also felt a bit grainy… and not from the seeds in the fruit. It was as if it hadn’t been blended properly. Tl;dr? Smoothie was grainy, juice was good but a bit too much of one ingredient. The service was awesome. The girl behind the counter was friendly, engaging, answered all of my questions, and didn’t try to rush me on a decision of ingredients. Would try again but with some tweaks to how I order the drinks. Update: went back and ordered a peach smoothie that was on their preselected menu. It was really good and much more flavorful. They even were kind enough to package it into a bottle to go instead of a cup. Changing my rating to four stars.

The woman working here was not able to answer any of my questions about the ingredients and was taking a personal call during our entire interaction…

The posted store hours are 6:30am to 9pm, but the kids who work at this store pack up, lock the door, and are gone with the lights off before 8:30 every night. If you do manage to get there before it closes, they won’t make you juice at night because they’ve already cleaned the juicer. This place needs to hire people who don’t close the store early to get their night started. Bad employees, poor management, closes too early for 6th Ave. in NYC.

This place is a big RIPOFF. To the owners: lower your prices to the market price in Manhattan and you may have a bigger fan base. I got a green/fruit juice in a plastic bottle and it was 12 $! As someone who gets juices from Organic Avenue, Liquiteria, and Juice Generation the top three NYC juice bars, I know they are never over 10 $. Elixir is small, does not look super clean like most juice places, and the juice was nothing special. It is not worth paying 20% above market price that is below in quality. Would have put the juice back if I had not opened it before getting to the register. Skip this place, a rip off.

This humid weather we’ve been having lately has left me with an excuse to skip out on the gym but has also left my skin feeling dewy and overall unhealthy. It may be because I haven’t been drinking as much water as I should be(my fault)… so when I was reviewing the menu at Elixir I thought«OH! a skin miracle? Perhaps.» and so I ordered a «skin smoothie» unrealistically hoping for bright, better skin. Of course I’m kidding. A smoothie won’t fix your skin but nothing about my «skin smoothie» but the orange juice stood out and maybe faint grassy taste that I assumed was from the supposed Aloe Vera drops. It tasted like an OJ smoothie if that’s even possible. How do you manage to make a smoothie with strawberry and banana as it’s base to taste just like OJ? Easily: put an overwhelming amount of OJ in it. I’m no smoothie expert but there was nothing special about this smoothie and I couldn’t taste the banana or the strawberries so what’s the point? The customer service was nothing to feel good about but most importantly the smoothie was whack. So for $ 9 I rather go get some fruit from a street vendor and chew it all together. Smoothie-on-the-go!

I got the Immune Booster juice. It was pretty yummy, though the ginger was a tad overpowering. I’d been feeling cruddy all week and after downing the juice, I did feel a lot better. So maybe it worked? This stuff isn’t cheap, but I guess neither is Starbucks, and this is considerably healthier. The guy behind the cash register was helpful and had a ready smile. I’ll come back.

I asked the cashier if he tried some of the juices offered. He said, oh yeah. and I held up two options of their premade juices. He suggested the kale avacado something else small shake mixture which was disgusting. I’ve been a juice feind for years, and this is not where its at to say the least. Their coconut chicken is the same. $ 20.19 later I was depressed and wanted to throw out my purchase. I tasted the shake in front of him and said that this was disgusting. He did not offer me an exchange or anything. I was very displeased with this visit and will never be back.

I pass by elixir juice almost every evening and didn’t go in till this morning as I was feeling extra relaxed and ready for some liquid nourishment. The guys behind the counter were sweet and smiley while taking my order, the juice equally sweet and smile-provoking. I got the 24oz fatigue buster.(24oz seems to be the best value, though forking over a Hamilton for something you could make at home isn’t the easiest.) I’d recommend it if you’re in the area, but don’t trek out of your way for it as there are comparable juice bars almost every block in this city. Edit: I asked them this past week to leave out the apple juice in the Fatigue fighter drink(eff sugar ya heard?) and they were adamant about not leaving it out. I think the apple & carrot actually make up a lot of this«beet» juice and apparently there’s no way around that… unless you have a juice guy who does(see my review of Carl’s in Brooklyn)!

We went here right after the Meatball Shop.(HIGHLYRECOMMENDEDBTW) I personally didn’t get anything, but my friend got the carrot/orange smoothie. I tried it, it was okay. It didn’t stand out to me in any way. I would’ve liked it to be a little chilled, since it was a pretty hot day. The orange disguised the carrots, so it pretty much tasted like oranges. My other friend got the watermelon smoothie, I didn’t try that one, but everyone, except me, had a minor stomach ache after drinking them. I rather stay home and juice myself. The workers all seem to hate their jobs, everyone looked sad and down, no one smiled. It definitely set the tone for their drinks.

I have been here four times while in town the last few weeks. I get the all greens fresh pressed juice with ginger. Service is always great. The place is clean and the juice is always fresh. A good choice if you are looking for your healthy juice fix.

No no, no no … I will not be back. First, their smoothie wasn’t that great(I did a make-your-own smoothie concoction), but what turned me off the most was their dishonest business practice. I ordered a small and that was only supposed to ring me up right around $ 4.50 before tax. Turns out the guy charged me around $ 6.50. When I asked him what caused the $ 2 extra charge, he waved me off and said«it’s taxes» and didn’t bother listening to me. Uhm … since when were taxes 31%??? I absolutely despise dishonesty and it disgusts me that they would be dishonest over $ 2. It was my mistake to not pay attention to the price before forking over my payment and I’ve learned they aren’t worth me giving them the benefit of the doubt that they would be honest folks. If you’re in need of a juice/smoothie fix, Jamba Juices are located all over NYC. They also have a ton of the juice and smoothie carts as well. Go anywhere but here. I’m saving you from being ripped off.
