Eminence has extremely high prices but I sometimes go because of the proximity to my place. Recent experience with extremely rude service and I will never go back. I would not recommend Eminence on any basis.

I used to come here to get my shirts washed and pressed. Quick turn around time and friendly staff. Then, I started noticing that all of my shirts were coming back with brown spots on the cuff and would not come out. They offered no explanation as to why this was happening. It is probably the people that they outsource it too but still, no accountability. Stay away.

This place just tried to charge me $ 12.50 to dry clean a plain black tshirt. When i asked how it could possibly be close to $ 13.00 to dry clean a tshirt because in my neighborhood in queens its $ 2.50 and i could imagine in the city it would be like double? maybe $ 5? $ 6? but $ 12.50??? his response was don’t use us. i certainly did not.

I use eminence for my wash and fold, and they do a very good job. Reliable, great folding, clothes smell good & clean. They are careful and I will continue to use them as I have for the past 2 years.

My colleague and I had just flow in to NY for a meeting and upon getting out of the cab his suit pant must have gotten caught on something and ripped down the middle of his leg in the rear… :-) Not too conducive to an executive meeting to have your boxers showing your backside Long story short, and a quick google maps search and voila, Eminence was 4 blocks away, repaired the pants(extremely well if I may say) on the spot and saved my grateful VP’s backside from showing(literally) Price was reasonable considering the rush, the seamstress did a great job(you couldn’t see the stitch marks(this was a fabric tear not just a seam that burst) Did I mention that this was at 9AM
