Enterprise Parking Systems

I always have a great experience when I park here. I pre pay for trucks, vans and cars because the main office guarantees that a space is reserved for me. I can choose to park elsewhere that is cheaper but it’s always a hit or miss, I don’t want to be caught driving around every borough looking for parking that’s «cheaper».
The lot is bonded, so I know there is always an attendant available and watching the vehicles.

Horrible, awful, disasterous place!
Sometimes I have to drive to work, and when I do, I am unfortunately subject to the BS that is midtown parking rates. It’s terrible. Then, I stumbled upon a little parking lot, that when I told them I needed to park there about twice a week, they immediately offered me a «$ 15, everytime, just come back here» deal. Done. I thought they were so nice! Whoops.
Last week, as I got out of my car to get something from my trunk, one of the parking attendants shut and locked my door with the car still running. He then proceeded to yell at me for leaving my keys in the car (which, by the way, is what you do). He refused to help me, told me to call Triple A and pay the $ 100 to unlock my car, and then walked away to help other customers, leaving me with a running car, and no way to get in to it. He also spent the better part of 20 minutes yelling at me in front of other customers. I ended up having to call 3−1−1, who had me call the police. The police came, and still, the parking attendant refused to open my car (even though they have the tools to do so at all parking lots). After 10 minutes of arguing with the police, the manager of Enterprise came and unlocked my car — but not before making me an hour late to work, and having my car run for an hour straight.
This is a horrible business. My entire company has had issues with Enterprise, and the company as a whole is no longer using them. If I could give negative stars, I would. Not to mention this morning, when I parked at the lot across the street, the very same parking attendant saw me, and ran over to tell the parking attendant of the new lot that I was crazy and racist. Who does that? Enterprise, apparently. Buyer beware and steer clear (literally).
