My boyfriend ordered the green curry, asked for it to be hot, and it was mild at best. When I’m sick, I survive solely on soup so I ordered the tom yum soup with coconut soup as the lunch side. The coconut soup had some kind of sour vegetable in it that kept me from finishing it. The tom yum came with too much broth so I couldn’t put my noodles into the broth. Call me crazy, but I order delivery for the convenience, not to use my own dishes. In my attempt to actually eat my soup, it overflowed. I’m not likely to order from this place again. I don’t like to have a major clean up situation, otherwise I’d cook it myself.

I visited this place with my mother(who’s visiting) couple days ago. We ordered pad thai, pineapple fried rice, and thai ice tea. Pineapple fried rice was delicious, but pad thai was a problem. It was smothered in sauce… So basically it felt like I was eating scoops of pad thai sauce without anything else. Yes, this could be better than other restaurants that like to go cheap on their sauce, but it was so extreme that my mother couldnt eat it. After a bite, she asked if they can re-make it with less sauce. One of the waitress was very kind and asked what was wrong with it. However, another waitress came to us saying there is nothing they can do, because that’s just how they make it. Okay… did I just eat a frozen food? How can they not adjust the amount of sauce? Anyways, the restaurant did solve the problem by canceling the dish. However, that waitress made us feel very uncomfortable. When I asked if there was a way to cancel the dish(they offered if I wanted to change it for different dish), she said ok and snatched the menu out of my hand. Then, basically ignored us until I asked for our check. My mother felt so uncomfortable, and I felt awful for taking her to that place. Will never come back to this place.

I enjoyed my meal here. The most interesting was an appy of Thai Sausage which was homemade and so flavorful. A good chicken basil followed. Good service. Worth a revisit.

This is my go to Thai restaurant on the Upper East. While I can’t say the decorations are my favorite(a little over the top), the atmosphere is warm and comfortable. And the service is welcoming and as quick or slow as you like, making it perfect for a mid-week meal or a Friday happy hour(drinks are good!). The actual food is all fresh, clean, and not overwhelmingly flavored. All of their dishes are well-priced with good portions and tasty flavors. And the presentation is always beautiful. My ideal meal is papaya salad, Tom yum soup(spicy!), and tofu and basil. But I’ve ordered many dishes and there is really nothing bad on the menu from the pad Thai to the many other dishes.

This is my friend’s favorite Thai place in the UES, so I got take-out for us the other day. I highly recommend the lunch special: you get an appetizer and an entrée for $ 7.95. For appetizers, we got the shrimp dumplings(I don’t think they are freshly made, but they are still tasty), tom yum soup, and for entrees, we both got pad see ew. The noodles were delicious with lots of chinese broccoli, egg, and meat. The portions are huge as well, I was full after eating the appetizer and half of the noodles. Definitely an awesome deal for lunch!

I wish the prices were cheaper and the portions were larger but the pad thai’s decent and the curry options are surprisingly pretty tasty. For the best bang for your buck, go for the lunch specials and order take out.

The food is a hit or miss with delivery, I recommend to dine in. Atmosphere and ambiance is nice. Pad Thai is delicious.

The food is great when you dine in. The flavours and the service are spot on. However, the catastrophe begins with ordering via seamless, etc. Portions are half full, and thoroughly disappointing. However being there at least 10 times this year, and picking up food last week, I’m considering it a one off. Dine in, you won’t be disappointed.

Great food, very fast service, refreshingly cool décor for your typical hole-in-the-wall Thai place. Server even asked if anything was wrong when one of us left a third of our Pad Thai on the plate. Will definitely go again.

Unlike others I wont review on how bright or dark or how narrow this place is. These were things I observed from the outside and made the choice to come in and dine. We went for the lunch menu and the food was pretty good. Was it awesome? It had the potential to be but like a lot of asian restaurants in America, it has been toned down with the spices for weaker tongues that hold bigger wallets. Whaddayagonnado right? Shrimp on the pad thai was quite good, split down the middle to give it that nice touch. If I were you, ask for extra spicy. You wont regret it. If you do regret it, dont eat thai.

I am more on the verge of giving the place a 2 star because of the service and the actual restaurant(I will explain in a moment). But as for the food, it was good, so I would suggest if you had it to-go, it would be more worth it. So We walked in and got seated next to the window. There was 4 of us and a baby, but the seat right next to the window is impossible to sit on, the person would fall off because of the uneven floor and plants right there. Luckily my 4th friend didn’t show up till later and was able to sit where my other friend had left. Anyway– there was a fly just hanging out on our table! It wouldn’t move, or fly away. Sure, that’s not the restaurant’s fault, but still– flies gross me out, especially if they are huge and won’t budge. My friend ended up smashing it under the candle holder. GROSS. They don’t have high chairs here so my baby had to sit on my lap when she woke up from her nap and I couldn’t enjoy the meal. They should really invest in at least ONE. I’m sure I’m not the only customer with child. So if there’s no high chair, then of course there is no changing table. Not even any counter-space. I hate when restaurants do that. It should really be illegal. It’s discrimination to us with babies who have blow-outs at the wrong time. The service was not good at all. I guess the waitresses don’t know how to handle stressful situations like when it gets busy, but you’re a restaurant. Get it together. It was hard to get their attention even though there were about 4 of them in the small restaurant and they all seemed annoyed when we asked for another beer, a spoon or whatever. Aren’t they supposed to be there to serve you? They don’t have large beers, just regular 16 oz Sopporo’s. So that sucked as well. I couldn’t enjoy my food or drink! Forget it, I’m giving it a 2 star. Now that I think about, we were just so hungry that we inhaled the food without really tasting it. It just probably tasted good because we ate it so fast.

Enthaice is a go-to lunch spot for me with friends, and my most-ordered delivery on the weekends. The 7.95 lunch special(including app and entrée) is a fantastic deal, and the food is fresh, delicious, and ready quickly. Cute restaurant ambience(though with few seats), friendly and attentive service, and an A+ tom yum soup. 4⁄5 stars because of the disproportionately more expensive dinner options, but you can’t go wrong with the lunch special.

Solid Thai place right around the 92Y. I ordered the green curry with veggies and it definitely had a kick to it. We arrived 45 minutes before lunch closed and they got our food to us in 10 minutes. We had an extremely efficient lunch.

Thank you for providing the worst dining experience ever. Not only was the food horrible, the service was non existent! Wanna eat some limp looking greens? Enthaice will serve you the limpest vegetables. Wanna eat some cold and tasteless food? Enthaice will entice your tastebuds buy serving you cold chicken in a horrible sauce. I felt like I was eating a few people’s leftovers. Amazing. Wanna have someone watch you eat food? We came an hour before closing and they wanted to close the restaurant and go home, so the waitress stood over us, watching us eat every bite. Wanna be «efficient» and pay before your food comes out? Oh yeah. Enthaice has such quick service, the bill will come out even before your food is served. That way, they can take your money and kick you out as soon as they can. Everyone around us actually felt bad for the we were treated, they showed signs of sympathy and could not believe how we were treated. I have never been so pissed in my life and actually left fuming, and will never, ever come back. Not even if you pay me to eat there.

This place is right around the corner from my apartment. It’s by far the best Thai food I’ve had so far on the upper east side. My favorite entrée is the Woonsen noodle dish– it’s light, full of delicious veggies, and all you need is a little bit of hot sauce. For appetizer, my recommendation are the curry puffs. It’s the most scrumptious, flaky bite! Must try!

Dined in with my dad for Sunday lunch! Pros: great food, great lunch prices, great service. Cons: too brightly lit, profane music being played loudly. I had the vegetable pad thai(so good) with the chicken dumplings as a starter(you only get two, by the way, for the lunch deal – they’re tasty, though) and my dad had the tom yum goong soup and a chicken dish, I forget which. We were both pleased as punch.

I have been eating here for over a year, it’s near work this is my lunch special go to. I’ve ordered delivery and pickup through the seamless app and have dined in with a few of my coworkers. I really enjoy the quality: price ratio. They offer their lunch special which was 6.95 for an entrée and appetizer, noticed when I picked it up today it said $ 7.95 outside on the whiteboard? Not sure as I ordered through the Seamless app. And on to the food: I’ve tried: Golden Fried Tofu, which is served with a sweet chili sauce. Very enjoyable. Pad Thai, tasty and enjoyable as it should be. Pad See Ew, reminds me of a spicy smoky chow fun(Chinese wide noodle dish) Chicken with Garlic sauce. It was good but I prefer a fresh minced garlic sauce, like Bennie’s Thai Café on Fulton(do check it out). We’ve also ordered the Tangy Chicken wings, and we usually want more. They are also served with a sweet chili sauce over the crisp chicken wings. The dish I order most of the time for lunch is the curry fried rice. It is so enjoyable. I usually order it with tofu and as a side edamame(ed a ma may), lots of soy protein. :) Interestingly on the main entrée part of the menu it shows a Green curry fried rice, but the ingredient description is not the same as what I get in the lunch special which is just called curry fried rice. I will ask next time I go. The thai salads with the lunch specials have been lackluster, and whenever I choose the ginger dressing, have just been some kind of vinegar(skip this, unless you want some lay tu say). Check them out for a lunch special, always a nice way to try a bit of dishes. They offer them everyday M-Sun until 3:30 pm.

At $ 6.95, the lunch special is pretty solid. I got my usual of pad kee mao with pork which came with a TON of onions, some peppers, green beans, carrots, and egg. Again, like Absolute Thai, some more noodles would’ve been nice but it was pretty tasty. Nothing spectacular. For my app, I got the shrimp dumplings which were TINY! Like diameter-of-your-fingernail tiny. 4 of them but the filling was rather mysterious without much shrimp taste, just rather starchy. The sweet soy sauce saved it though. I guess I’d rather go here than Absolute Thai since the lunch special is a dollar fifty cheaper and I don’t need Absolute’s iceberg lettuce salad anyway. I’ll try a different app next time though.

Enthaice is your typical Thai restaurant. It’s small, with a nice interior, and the food is decent. This is not the type of place you come to have the best meal of your life, but more of a casual dinner. We ordered the fried tofu appetizer, which was beautifully presented and tasted good. I had the crispy duck salad, which in my opinion didn’t have enough duck and way too much salt. My boyfriend had the green curry fried rice with beef that I stole a bite of. It was good but he complained it tasted okay and left him with a stomach ache(so, beware!). I did notice however they had reasonably priced drinks. $ 8 glasses of wine and $ 7 sake cocktail specials. I didn’t try any, so I can’t comment on those. The service is good, and it’s in a great location. Would I come back? Not so sure.
