Extend Eyelash Extension

This place is simply wonderful. I caught wind of this through a Gilt City deal. I chose to purchase their silk eyelash extension package, which also comes with a complimentary foot massage.
When trying to find the place, I passed it twice due to it being squeezed between a barbershop and another shop. But nevertheless, once you get upstairs you suddenly forget the hustle and bustle of the city.
I was greeted by two friendly receptionist, who checked me in and gave me my consent/​waiver forms to fill out. While I was filling out my forms, my technician came over and helped me choose my desired look and options that would best fit me. She was so sweet and very informative.
The overall experience was so relaxing that I managed to fall asleep in the midst of the service. My foot massage was also very nice.
Lastly, I’ve had lash extensions before, but this experience was like no other. Not only were my eye lids not stuck together at the end, but the adhesive also did burn when I opened my eyes!
My lashes out beautifully. I will definitely be back here for touch ups while living here in Manhattan.

Came here twice. I originally loved this place because the service and setup was really nice. There was privacy walls and nice tables to lay on. The décor was really pretty. Plus, they did a fantastic job on my lashes that lasted for my trip. Also, I loved the complimentary foot massage and credit card acceptance. My second experience was just as great except they are now cash only. My tech was sweet and the lashes looked wonderful. However, I’m very disappointed that this time it did not last! I’m currently, a few days over a week since the service and 85% of the lashes are gone. Sadness. I got them done for a wedding, at least it looked good that day. My extensions usually can last up to a month the way I handle them (from other places). Ah, well.

It really hurts me to be writing this review. I really wanted to love this place. A classmate does her eyelashes here and I thought they were so pretty. She told me she got them done at extend eyelashes and I was reluctant at first because of the price. When I found the living social deal, I saw no reason to not check out the place. I thought perhaps I found a new place to get it done.
First, I want to say that this was my not first time getting my lashes. I take care of them and I do not wear any eye makeup while I have them. I usually get them done by a friend but she was busy, I needed lashes, and I’ve always wanted to try Extend Eyelashes. So why not, right?
Secondly, I want to say, during my experience there, I loved it. I was wowed. The staff was friendly, and OH MY GOODNESS, I loved my foot massage. I felt so tranquil, relaxed, and comfortable.
And here is the but. But the lashes didn’t last.
By the second day, I started seeing 2 hairs fall out from each eye. I was concerned but I thought it was probably just the 4. But then it shed more and more.
Today marks exactly 2 weeks, and now I’m just really upset. I had to double check that I wasn’t mistaken and it wasn’t really 3 weeks. After the first week, I thought «maybe I’ll get some refills». But now, on my left eye there’s only about 4 or so extensions left. And on the right a bit more than that. I’ve had previous extensions that look like this after a month of wear. A month! But this only lasted two weeks.
If you’re going there for a foot massage and for friendly staff, go for it. I loved my experience there. When I left the place, I loved how my lashes looked also. But it didn’t last long. I’m wondering if the technician used the wrong glue. I asked for strong. I said it before, I loved my experience, I’m just not satisfied with the longevity of the lashes.
Sorry Extend, but let me know if you guys get better glue. Until next time.

Can’t complain about anything here they were great from start to finish! I had Bryan do my lashes and he was amazing. So attentive and made the process very comfortable. I have sensitive eyes and when I usually get eyelash extensions I feel like I’m going through hell until it’s over but just the sticker part at the start was uncomfortable (as expected and unavoidable) and then I barely felt a thing. Someone beside me was actually snoring away that’s how relaxing it is here! And the foot massage was amazing, but just a word of advice if you aren’t prepared to tip the massage lady then don’t be a douchebag and decline the massage, obviously she works off tips since the massage is complementary so just reward the service should you choose to take it!
Short version: they’re great here, eyelashes looks amazing and the experience was the best I’ve had anywhere

I had a great first experience at Extend Eyelash! This is my first time getting eyelash extensions, and I know I’ll be going back for more (it really is addicting).
I came here for the first time with a Gilt City voucher for 85 lash per eye silk eyelash extensions, which I would recommend for a full set. I was able to schedule an appointment for the same day I purchased my voucher within the next 45 mins. The environment was cosy and non-​pretentious, they had music playing and the overall ambience was peaceful and quiet. The lady at the front desk was lovely and offered a beverage, and the staff didn’t treat me any differently compared to any other paying customer. The whole process took an hour and 20 minutes; from the minute I walked in, signed the consent form, had my consultation with my technician Brian, took off my mascara, had him working on the extension application, through to getting a complimentary foot massage and tipping.
They have a couple different lash shapes available to choose from, as well as lash thickness and length. The only thing that would be even more helpful, especially for first timers, would be to have real life images available for clients to look through and choose from. However Brian was very knowledgeable and suggested the best option for me. I went for the ‘mix’ set in 1.5 thickness in the JC curl. The actual application took about an hour and 5 minutes, and was so comfortable I fell asleep. Foot massage was amazing, tip recommended and well worth it. The end result looks natural, but definitely enhances and opens up my eyes. I was given a loyalty card, which has different perks including @20 off, 20% off, $ 20 gift card and free refill. The next time I go back for my refill, I will most likely opt for the 110 lash per eye and the C curl for even more flare and drama ;)
Overall very pleased with the service and pricing of Extend Eyelash, would definitely recommend others to try it out! Thank you Brian for being so attentive and having a great sense of humour!

First of all it was hard to find but besides that I am very unhappy with the result. I’ve been a loyal customer to Blinglash for 3 years and I saw a livingsocial deal and did my research and people seemed to really like this place so I gave it a try.
I have thin lashes so the point of getting extensions is for improvement. I love Blinglash because my eyes look bigger since they actually attach a lash to every single lash you have without counting (same price). Extend Eyelash charges you more if you want more lashes. So if you pay $ 120 you get 85 lashes per eye. It came out looking like a barely have any change to my look. Also their lashes are way thinner than most places so your eyes won’t look larger and more enhanced. At Bling they will, at $ 120, fill your eyelashes to the brim so that you actually look like you have full eyelashes, they don’t skimp on the amount. Also I asked to have the sexy look where the lashes get fuller on the outside and that was not honored. Actually since its 85 per eye she stopped on the outside and my last couple lashes are still without lashes, it looks awful (Ive been wearing sunglasses all day and made an appointment with Blinglash tomorrow!). I told the girl I was not satisfied and wanted a more dramatic look at the end but she said next time (She was very nice though). Anyways, there won’t be a next time. Especially since they are starting to itch and get crooked already and I just got it done a couple hours ago. The customer service should be more accommodating especially if it’s a person’s first time… they could become a loyal customer!
One thing I could say is the foot massage was great!
If you don’t want to spend $ 120 and are just taking advantage of the groupon then I can’t help you. But if you want your money’s worth where you actually look like you have fuller lashes (which is why we pay money for them) and they don’t count how many lashes they apply then go to Blinglash.

William I appreciate your response. However, I find all your reasoning as excuses for not being able to meet your clients expectations. As I mentioned before I’ve had lashes on multiple times and am very aware of how to properly care for them. It’s interesting that you felt my lashes looked fine for the two week mark. I’m sure a at your salon the amount of lashes that fell within two weeks seemed fine.
However for somebody like myself that has gone to other places and can compare that is not «normal’ and they should not look like that at the two week mark.
You also mentioned the «spring season»
as an excuse. It is spring now and I’m on my 3^rd week of an amazing set from LASH FOREVER. Still looking fabulous and very satisfied.
Ladies, again if you’re in between selecting a lash place choose lash forever. Their application will last waaaaaay longer.
William, perhaps you should raise your standards to match competitors, please don’t excuse your staff’s poor application. You should take responsibility by making it right for your customers.

I came here with a Living Social deal with a friend. The front desk didn’t give me any trouble in redeeming the deal. Which is a plus! ’cause we all know how stores get when you’re trying to redeem a deal you got online. *nod in agreement* Onward to the fabulous eyelash experience.
In the beginning, they make you sign off a waiver and then you get to select the type of lashes you want. The eyelash technicians were courtesy and helpful in answering question and finding the right style to fit your eye shape. I like that they have the option in the strength of the glue, you can pick light, medium, or Krazy glue strong. I went for the medium glue strength for my Mink, JC curl lashes.
The whole process takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. You get an ah-​mazing foot massage and some beautiful lashes to bring all the boys to the yard *cue Kelis song*. Keep in mind it’s cash only and in the end you get a reward card for your touch-​up in 2 weeks.
Tip: Come here during work hours and you get discounted price on the extensions.

I have been to several eyelash places all over NYC but this place is by far my favorite. They have consistent great service and all of their technicians are skilled. My lashes always last way longer than other places. Also while you get your lashes done, they massage your feet and it’s the best!

I’ve given Extend Eyelash a second chance and they have accommodated me. Tubee is who I see and I think she’s terrific. She’s very professional, polite, and sweet.
The environment is relaxing and comfortable. Keep in mind it’s cash only as I always forget…

On April 20^th around 3PM I got my first set of lashes done. I decided not to go extremely dramatic as Ive never done them before and do have pretty thick lashes. Unfortunately my lashes barley lasted on Friday the 29^th I noticed that I have no lashes left these should have lasted at least 3 weeks. For the amount I paid I would have expected the lashes to last a bit longer

We apologize if you felt upset and hurt.
For us, we do take care of our technicians, however, we feel that gratuity is based on service, and if you were in any way unhappy with the services that our technicians were giving, we would of course, not have said anything. If you were unhappy with the services given, we would have immediately have offered to remove the lashes, and not have taken the payment for the appointment either.
If you were happy with the services given, given that we had already asked you 3 times prior as well, we felt that we had to stand by the hard work of our technicians. As much as it was a sensitive topic for you, it was one for us as well, and we try our best not to make these uncomfortable situations, however, as management, it is also our responsibility to be responsible for our technicians.
As for our masseuse, before every massage, when we seat our clients, we remind the clients that we just ask for gratuity for our masseuse. Again, being as how it was not the first time that nothing was left for our masseuse, we again felt that we had to speak up for her.
Our masseuse, like our technicians, work really hard to help our clients relax during the extensions, and has to see a minimum of 20 clients per day, and again, as management, we feel that it is our responsibility to speak on her behalf.
When our clients are either unhappy with the services, or don’t have enough on them at the moment, we always match a minimum for both the technicians and our masseuse. That is an of course. However, if you were happy with our services, but leave the gratuity for our management to pay out of pocket in your stead, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but we sincerely hope that you find a better salon than ours.

Never left a review but figured I would now since I’m looking to go back. Great experience. BEAUTIFUL décor, great staff and technician did a fabulous job on my lashes. I have short curly lashes and whatever she recommended lasted, surprisingly, quite a long time even with applying mascara.
Only thing I felt was a bit off was with the initial person who recommends the type of lash one should get. She talked about a «complimentary» foot message and then at the end she said «just make sure you tip». I thought that was a bit tacky but I guess people don’t know it’s a customary thing to do.
Definitely will come back. I want some more dramatic and longer but after reading reviews I might settle for medium and full. See you guys soon!

The prices are fair (prices go up or down based on how many lashes you want, plus you get a complimentary 10 min foot massage) and the service is great.
My tech, Jenny, was incredibly fast! She got me out of there well before the time I had anticipated. Nothing was overlooked, I got all the lashes I was hoping to get (and them some) and I left very happy.
Special shoutout to the front desk staff. She kept appointments moving by following up with scheduled clients (politely and professionally) to either ask for a rough ETA or to give them a heads up that their tech was running a few minutes behind. There was no pushing to upgrade to premium lashes (though, I decided on my own to get premium mink lashes) and politely offered suggestions when she saw that I was unsure of how much I should tip. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and composed.

I came to Extend Eyelash on 12÷29÷15 with a Living Social deal, and had such an amazing experience. I got the premium silk lashes, and after a thorough consultation, the receptionist and I decided on a style that would work best with my eyes. The whole thing was super relaxing, and the free foot massage was amazing. I’ll be honest, I was really nervous to come here because of the location (across from Penn Station) but SO happy I did.

This is my seventh time visit, what can i say? I am so obsessed! I love everything like everything! The place is just so elegant, service are great, they’re all sweet and friendly, they give you some suggestions that make your lashes look even better and you should always consider every suggestions cos trust me my lashes are getting puhrettier! Right now i have the 11,12,13 length, i did JC curl before, now switched it to C which is really pretty! & i have the round shape now since i am asian, i need something that will make my puff.
Complimentary massage will always be my favorite and btw, every time i get my lashes done, maybe not the first 2 visit, i always fall asleep. Yes so that kind of comfort and spa-​ing kinda environment. So EEE loving you already!

Honestly this was not my choice to come here, but I couldn’t wait for my usual tech in flushing anymore. It’s a bit of an annoyance getting here since I’m in queens, but I’ll deal with it. It’s worth it. In the beginning you have the nice lady in the front seat you with a clip board with the stuff you have to read and sign before you get it done. After, they do a really quick consultation and then you meet your tech. Fast forward an hour and a half later, my eyelashes are on fleek. Good job Minki, you did a bomb ass job! Thanks again to the lady in the front who complimented on my hair. You guys really know how to get a client to come back!

Third time visit and every time the service is top notch. The last two visits MiMi has done my eyelashes. He is a perfectionist and the lashes come out to perfection.
My style is mink mix 110 lashes. I like the mix because it gives you short and long length and doesn’t look fake. The lashes last for a long time and there is no need to use mascara which is great! I get compliments every time I have them done. Yes it’s expensive, but if you are getting eyelashes done they need to be done by a professional. Mainly to make sure they are even and not damaging your natural lash!
If you have never tried eyelash extensions before this is the place you should have then done. You will never use fake lashes that come from cvs again!

Love this place! Always has the nicest service, and always super kind. They do a great job with long lasting lashes, and the free foot massage definitely doesn’t hurt either. I highly suggest Extend, especial if this is your first time trying extensions.
