Favorite Nails

I randomly stumbled upon this little gem 3 weeks ago. I go to a handful of nail salons in the area. This is a little hole in the wall type so no long waits (always a plus on my books) and the owners are very sweet people. The couple can both do nails very well. A pedi is only $ 12 compared to the salons by my job ($ 25), this is great! That is an unbeatable price in the area because a pedi goes from $ 20 and up. That can quickly add up because I get a pedi every other week.
My friend got fake nails and a pedi 3 weeks ago for her birthday and the nail polish stays on very nicely. They use good brands nail polish — OPI and Essie. They have gel options too. They are good. The guy put the fake nails in her flawlessly. You can tell he’s been doing this for a while. He can really deliver. The lady next to me is asking for leopard prints on her toes and he said he’ll try. I’m going to eye the process.
Their English is so-​so but they are not afraid to talk to you. You are rather chatty once the conversation is started. I like to bring my own nail polish because I have so many and I’m always lazy to do my own nails. I bring my own no matter which salon I go.
They also have many other options. Hot cream pedicure? Check. Lemon spa? Check. Green tea spa? Check. Honey pedicure? Check.
Oh yea. They are very clean too. They clean the equipment once they are done using it. :)

This place is okay. The guy does good nails (only he does) but it never lasts very long. The place is also a dingy little hole in the wall and they don’t seem to make an effort to clean it or make it nicer. If you are in a jam and want a cheap mani pedi this is your place. You get what you pay for here.
