I’m so happy I walked away from my computer and went down to Canal Street. I was having a lot of difficulty booking a flight on the Cathay Pacific website. I walked into Fei Yang Travel and Betty actually listened to my requirements and tried to fulfill them, it took a bit of time and effort but she succeeded. She got me the flights I needed and actually saved me $ 75 (from the best I could do on-​line) in the process.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Fei Yang since 2010. My friend recommended me to Christine and she is absolutely the best. Always super helpful!!! while I was traveling recently (December 2014), my itinerary changed a few times and I was always able to reach Christine, who immediately helped me find new flights and helped me re-​book. she’s always very professional and has always given me great deals to travel. needless to say, the first person I call when I have to book plane tickets is Christine. I will be going back to Asia again at the end of this year and will definitely be calling her for tickets.

After my previous review, the agent reached out and contacted us to resolve the issue. Some positive take-​aways: no matter how much I yelled/​raised my voice in frustration, the agent was very professional and maintained a positive demeanor the entire time. For those of you who have never worked in customer service, let me tell you that one of the toughest moments is having an already upset customer become even more upset and yell at you and you need to maintain a professional and positive demeanor. Major props to the agent for enduring my fury.
While I understand that everyone makes mistakes, I feel that our negative experience is not entirely the agent’s fault. I feel that management also needs to take responsibility in acknowledging that they might not have trained all their employees properly in billing programs/​procedure.
I’m am happy to say that the matter has been resolved. Even if my mother continues to use this agency, I will probably still try to convince her otherwise.

It’s amazing how in the industrial age of blooming internet businesses, you can still find little travel agencies afloat. But after a single trip to the store, I can tell why. It’s located in chinatwn up a tight stairwell on the second floor so it’s a little hard to find but definitely worth the trip. I was initially referred to the store by a friend and just thought it didnt hurt to quote some prices.
I was booking a multidestination trip covering dubai mali and several cities in india and I hadnt had my travel plans finalized before my visit. Betty, the agent helping me was extremely patient and knowledgeable. She was able to give me recommendations for my travel includ a reasonable number of days for each city and tour sites. As we were talking, she was able to look up flight options and tell me the prices between different days and times. I was super impressed by the speed and simplicity in which my reservation was booked.
After I came back from the trip, I booked another cruise to the Bahamas but unfortunately wasnt able to attend. Going through betty again, she was able to cancel my trip with some small penalties to the deposit that I was sure wouldve been entirely lost if I did it online. That was such a relief.
All in all, from reservation to cancellation, this little travel agency saved me hours of internet research and tedious phone calls. Will definitely come here for all my travels in the future.

First of all, I have to say that’s my pleasure to choose fei yang travel which helped me to find out the best deal for my trip. When I still worry about how to plan my new year’s vacation.?My agent Miko helped me a lot. She understood all my requirements about hotel, scheduled of China tours. Also, she gave me suggestions how to plan my trip can catch the Chinese New Year in my hometown.
I have to say this is my first time deal with Feiyang travel agent. Before I always stay in Brooklyn, I never realized I can get a better fare and good service in Chinatown. I would like to recommend my friends and family to deal with them next time.

I was searching frantically for a great deal to Hong Kong during Christmas Vacation when everything on search engines were doubled or tripled the normal fare, then I got a referral from a friend to Fei Yang Travel. Got a great deal from the agency with a huge saving. My agent Betty excel in her service to find me the best deal. I’ll definitely recommend Fei Yang Travel.

I really don’t like making travel arrangements through travel agencies. I feel like for the most part, I can find better deals online and not have to pay a fee for the agent’s services. Fei Yang Travel did not charge us a fee upfront, but it was probably reflected in the prices we got.
By the time we came in to book our flights and hotel stay in Asia, the trip was about a month out. That didn’t leave a lot of time, and the prices were all doubled. We approached Miko to help with our booking. Typically, Chinese travel agencies are cheaper than the American ones, but you do have to be careful. There are certain differences in the standards between the two. What’s ranked as good might be average in actuality.
Since we had three people in our party, booking hotels in Hong Kong was a hot mess. The websites were unclear, and we were unsure of which hotels actually had larger room sizes for triples. The answer: almost none. The ones that did offer them were $ 300 a night. Miko understood the amount of people we had and what our situation was. I felt like she wasn’t assertive enough in phoning up hotels for us. Every time we called her, she said she had to wait for the following day to call because the hotel hotlines had closed due to the time zone difference. She should have worked independently in reaching out to more hotels.
We finally settled on L’hotel Causeway Bay based on the prices (still high, but manageable), the proximity of the metro station, and because of the supposed feedback she received from past clients. After we had booked everything, she found out that one of the beds in the room was a rollaway. We had specifically asked for it to be a true triple. The hotel turned out to be filthy and riddled with unsavory types, with a topping of terrible service.
This was by far one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Plus, we only saved about $ 200 off the flights and really nothing off the hotel. I felt like Miko lacked that extra attentiveness that would have saved us many headaches on our trip.

My mom loves to go to Fei Yang whenever she travels because their service is great and they always offer the best deals. The plane tickets that we booked through them were even cheaper than what I could find online. Most importantly of all, their service is superb! We had an emergency and had to change a flight pretty late at night and surprisingly, they picked up and immediately processed us a new ticket and emailed it to us. What a lifesaver!

My friend recommended me to Miko to help me book a flight to Hong Kong. I never used a travel agency before, so I was a little bit skeptical. Miko found me a flight $$ less than what I was finding online. I guess it pays to listen to friends sometimes!!! :)

I’ve traveled with Fei Yang travel for the past six years and the experience is wonderful. I like how simple it is when I provide them with my travel dates and times and they will find me the best deals available when flying to Asia. Like most people I’ve also tried comparative shopping online to make sure I get the best deal and Fei Yang always find deals cheaper than what I can find online. They’ve been awesome in helping me set up my itinerary so I make the most out of travel time. I’ve recommended a number of friends through the years and they haven’t been disappointed.

This is the only agency I go to when I travel to Asia, which is quite often. Fei Yang seriously offers the BEST deals ever. TIckets are always at least $ 100-​$ 200 less than when you get it online. They always try to find different routes or times that might be cheaper as well if you have a more flexible travel schedule. I really enjoy working with Christine but have worked with the other agents there who are just as knowledgeable.

I always use Christine as my travel agent. I swear by her. She always gives me really good deals for one world alliance partners– cathay and American. I highly recommend this travel agency!

They don’t tell you what their fees are upfront, and I was shocked to see on my credit card statement that the plane tickets for NY to Floriday I ordered were actually each $ 100 less than the price I was quoted. The balance, equivalent to 35 percent of the plane tickets, was charged separately as the agency fee. I have never had this experience with any travel agent.
If they had said upfront what their fees were I would have gone to another agent.
