Flowers by Nicholas

Flowers by Nicholas hasn’t failed us yet! After many fails by 1−800-flowers, my husband decided to try local florists in the vicinity of my workplace to deliver flowers to me for Valentines Day, my birthday and our anniversary, and so gave Flowers by Nicholas a try. We’ve been fans ever since and don’t bother going anywhere else. NIcholas’ bouquets are fresh, beautiful and made with love. You can tell he takes his time and gives his all when preparing his bouquets. We have not been disappointed yet and he will continue to be our go-​to florist.

I cannot say enough good things about Flowers by Nicholas. I arrived at 11 AM on a Saturday, without calling ahead, looking for a centerpiece for a birthday dinner that night. I said two things, birthday and low profile, and they were off. We agreed on a price – I picked a price similar to large bouquets I’d seen at florist websites – and 30 minutes later I had a more impressive centerpiece than I could have imagined. Orchids, lilies, and more. But the florist thought it still lacked something and he added three red roses. And then he offered to deliver it for no additional charge when he learned that his store would close 3 hours before the event. The centerpiece received many compliments. Go and you will not be disappointed.

I called Flowers by Nicholas with a specific flower I wanted to order. Eventhough the flower was not available (since it is out of season), the representative was extremely helpful, professional and accomodating in picking out a new appropriate bouqet. I am extremely pleased with the customer service and hospitality and will absolutely be using Flowers by Nicholas again.

My partner and I of 15 years decided to come back to the city that we met and fell in love to get married. Our wedding took place on Thursday, June 12, 2014 in Central Park followed by a lovely lunch at the Loebs’ Boathouse Restaurant. With just a few days left and still in need of a florist, I reached out to a friend of mine who recommended Flowers by Nicholas. This was the best advice we could have received.
From the first phone call Nicholas understood what the perfect flowers meant to us. We followed up on the day before where we were assured the delivery and sophistication would be on time and perfect. I wanted to have flowers delivered to my office for the springtime, but I had received a botched order by ordering off Teleflora (my mistake — never again) so I reach out to Nicholas to see if we could fix it. Not only did he send someone to pick up my incorrect flowers, he created exactly what I wanted and had it redelivered by the end of the day! It was not an easy feat, I was so thankful and will be using him as my go-​to for office flowers in the future!

The flowers I picked up looked nothing like the ones I had ordered. ABSOLUTELY nothing. When I mentioned this the guy tried to tell me it was because the flowers where not opened yet. They did not only use different flower to the ones I ordered but they did not even use the same color scheme. I was very disappointed.

absolutely the worst florist ever! First of all they called my cell phone to tell me they were delivering flowers, great way to ruin a surprise. Then they ended up delivering a plant with dead flowers, I had to throw it away. So I called to complain and they argued with me and said they would send me something else. Which of course they never did. Terrible delivery service, and customer service!
