Frolic!

I love this place. Clean, accommodating and customer service is their policy. I had my daughter’s 3^rd bday here and they did an amazing job. I mostly appreciated the attention to detail and the service. My daughter had the best birthday here.
She had a DJ, cake, 2 characters and all the décor. It was big and fun.
I recommend this place again and I feel it’s better than its competitors because I looked at 2 other places before this one. Also, I would have her bday here again. And The photos are awesome. The place is a great photo opp.
I’m very picky, and demand great attention. This place was #1.

We spent a small fortune to have our daughters party at Frolic. We were very disappointed on many levels. The party room, though decorated, was depressing, the staff, tentative. There was a leak in one of the rooms that we were meant to have access to and were offered no discount for the concession. It was grossly overpriced for the experience. The energy of the staff wasn’t joyful or grounded. Buy some art supplies, pizza, put on some music and have your friends over to your tiny apartment. Put the other 900.00 dollars into your kids college fund!

I wish this place was around when I was a kid. As a parent, you want the absolute best for your child. My son has been going there everyday since he was 4 months old. Frolic is about as cool as they come.

Really great space and concept! I came here for my niece’s 4^th birthday party last year and liked it. There is a cool rock and roll theme in the play area, the staff was super sweet to all of the children and a very interactive video wall that was a huge hit with the kids.
I am sure there are different packages available. The one that my brother and sis in law picked was pretty comprehensive: cupcakes, inflatable guitars, craft session for the kids to make fairy wands and swords (theme was Pirate Princess) and pizza, if I recall. There is also a great refreshment bar that makes a very good iced coffee. My bro and sis in law put a lot of thought into their children’s birthday parties; this was a great choice.

My son takes the kick n play class here which basically sucks. I can’t be the only one that thinks so because the enrollment has steadily dropped to like 2 kids and we all can’t stop looking at the clock waiting for the class to end.
What they do have is a wonderful open play space and they throw nice parties. My recommendation is to sign up for the play space membership but stay away from the classes.

Frolic throws the most AMAZING parties hands down! They have a talented team that is creative, thoughtful and detail oriented ensuring everything (right down to the tiniest detail) is taken care of. They are transparent and responsive throughout the planning process and a pleasure to work with.
When my daughter asked for a Bollywood themed birthday party I was at a loss. Unfortunately I have never been a pro at planning birthday parties and with my schedule it is especially challenging. I had seen some of the parties thrown at Frolic so I checked in with them. They assured me that they could create something fun and marvelous. Within a few days they got back to me with suggestions around decorations, activities, goody bags and food. I really appreciated the promptness in which they got back to me and the ideas presented were well-​thought out and very detailed. I also liked the fact that during my discussion with them they were clear on pricing for everything. I do not like surprises, especially hidden costs. Throughout the planning they were professional, responsive and kept it so easy I started to worry that it was happening all too easily.
The day of the party we arrived with our daughter and we were all blown away. The place looked fantastic! They had a Bollywood video playing in a loop on the wall, vibrant and colorful decorations and they had activities for the kids lined up and ready to go. I kept waiting for the «party stress» to set in, but it never did. They were highly organized and took care of everything! I didn’t have to do anything but eat cake and have fun, something I have never done at my kid’s birthday parties. There was always a staff member to lead kids to the next activity or ensure that any spills or rogue food on the floor was gone.
It was like no party I have been to before and other parents agreed. Throughout the party, parents were approaching me to tell me how cool the party was and the kids really dug the activities such as dance lessons and henna painting.
From beginning to end it was a top-​notch experience — right down to the details of the goody bags which were fantastic. At the end there were no surprises on the bill and all we had to do was take the presents and go. One of a kind experience, no stress, end of story.

, I traveled from Park Slope to check it out on a rainy day. I was told that now it’s only possible to play here for a minimum of a $ 125, 3-​day, 1 class pass. I explained to one of the owners that I saw it posted for $ 25 and that I came all the way from Park Slope so really didn’t think I’d be able to use the pass. She explained that it’s their ‘business model’ and that to allow someone to play for $ 25 would cause them to go out of business and that they needed to maintain their exclusivity. Well, it was a rainy day and there were only two children playing who appeared to be siblings. Two. And they looked kind of bored. Like someone who paid $ 50 to get into an exclusive nightclub that was empty. So, I think they could have used my $ 25 to let my 2 year old play for an hour. We over a few blocks to Kidz Klub which was $ 10.99 and, although not near as fancy, was filled with kids and fun. My daughter was happy, but it would have been nice if we could have tried Frolic.
