Relatively small place with only 5 tables. The service is unorganized, poor use of décor, the floors looks nasty, and the walls are just plain old dirty. Weirdest part of all? The pale yellow plastic table cover(ones you’d find at those 99 cents stores) had holes and scratch marks on them, wonder how many times the one on my table was reused. The guy tried to take our order by just naming dishes, and throwing out ideas at us. What happened, no menu? They actually do have one, but half the stuff he mentioned wasn’t even on there. Moving on to the food, I’m just going to name a few. Turtle Soup — Despite it being a bit oily, it was quite tasty. We actually came because we heard this was their specialty. Turtle and Chicken Casserole — Turtle made 2 ways; soup(mentioned above) + casserole. The chicken really brought out the sweetness of the turtle. Seasoned very well. The folks doggy packed the sauce. Steamed Whole Fish — The flesh was soft, you can really taste the freshness of live fish just gutted, and steamed right before getting on to the table. The food was surprisingly better than I expected, but I highly doubt that I will be back, unless invited for family gatherings.

Three stars for the food only. We just went there for lunch and they try to sell us whole steam fish and lobster. After we ask for the menu, the lady try to point us to the dinner menu, avoid us looking into the combo menu(3 dishes for $ 20). When we ready ti put in the order, she said«just say what u want» terrible service, Not going back for sure.

This place has changed names a bunch of times over the years and is now called Fu Ke Lai. They still have their 2 or 3 dish deals, but you wouldn’t know that from dining in. Seriously. The woman waiting tables(the only person on the floor) didn’t give us any menus and was just suggesting dishes for us(definitely some upselling). Service was also slow as a result. The place is now super barebones. For smaller parties, you’re basically sitting on mahjong folding tables with no table cloths. Anyway, the boiled chicken was rubbery and not plucked thoroughly. Lots of blood too. But the ginger sauce was freshly made. The t-bone steak wasn’t that great, but it was relatively cheap(around $ 21). Not much flavor and overcooked. Probably wouldn’t return.
