I ordered the Calzone with black olives and pepperoni — it was the best I’ve ever had; with perfect amounts of Ricotta, mozzarella and add-​ons. The sauce on the side is mild and tasty. 6 bucks for a good size too !

Love their pizza fries! I crave them now. Delivery is always quick and good. Their calzones are fantastic too. Never had the pizza but would expect it to be just as good as everything else. Nice neighborhood spot!

Took 1 hour and 20 minutes to deliver the food (a total of 7 blocks). And when we called the location to ask what was up, there was no apology. Instead of following our buzzer instructions on Seamless, the delivery guy called us asking us to open the door. And the «ziti» is not ziti… It’s penne. Won’t be giving this place another try.

I really like neighborhood newcomer, G&J’s. I first found out about them when they liked one of my instagram pictures of Carl Schurz Park. Nice move, guys!
I finally tried them via seamless, and was really pleased. The crust was thin and soft, perfect NY style, and it was a tidier, less greasy, less gooey, style of slice. It also seemed like they use better quality ingredients than the average slice joint.
Ok gotta go order more on seamless now bye.

Delivery was quick but I ordered Alfredo pasta with meatballs. Why was it filled with onions? Ugh. I hate onions and it doesn’t mention onions at all on the menu. I’ve never in my life ordered Alfredo and got it with onions. Not traditional and totally overwhelming to the palette. Meatballs were just okay. The zeppolis were completely soaked in grease. How is the Italian food so bad in Manhattan? And I spent $ 16. Come onnnn! So tired of the disappointment. :-(

The pizza was quite good. They did NOT cheap out on the meat at all, there was a hiccup with the delivery and originally I was really angry but when I called them they were SO attentive and went above and beyond to fix the problem.
Everyone in the office who had it was happy and the pizza was delivered fresh hot with large slices.
Also, u get a bang for your buck in terms of quality and taste. Will order again.

So this place is under new management which is great! We ordered 2 slices ($ 5 with a free can of soda!), garlic knots (4 for $ 1), and pizza fries which are hand cut thick French fries with melted mozzarella on top and your choice of toppings! Yum! Everything was great. Solid clean place

I can only speak to delivery, but they’re a new fav. I enjoy the salads, appetizers, and pastas (really great ravioli w/​marinara). Haven’t had the pizza yet, but looking forward to trying it. They’ve been very reliable and quick. Great spot.

These guys are great. They have a nice varied menu that goes beyond pizza. If you order an Italian sub, expect a nice big sub that is packed with ingredients. They have hot ones as well. I have got to say I didn’t know what to expect from a caprese salad from a pizza place, but this one is fantastic — generous portions and incredibly fresh. And what would a pizza place be without pizza? The toppings are generous and fresh and the slices are nice and big.
To top it off, they have great service. If you order online and they don’t have something or there are other options, these guys pick up the phone and call to make sure you get what you want. Once I ordered delivery and they accidentally forgot something. Before I could even pick up the phone they were back at my place with the missing food and an apology. Other restaurants in the area should take notes for the folks at Uncle Benny’s!

Ordered (average time for delivery) a Sicilian ($ 17.35 Tx incl). OK overall, skimpy on bland sauce, as Sicilians are supposed to be, I guess. Lots of tasteless cheese. Crust OK. Nothing freshly made in store. My idea of good Sicilian would be somewhat spicy tomatoey sauce in sufficient quantity; soft chewy milky mozzarella with burned spots; and dark, maybe burned crust. To compare, have also tried Manhattan Rizzo’s of Astoria fame – more expensive, bit better, but freshly made ingredients.

I went in bc I passed by it all the time so i thought why not try it out. I got a decent slice of pizza for $ 2.50 for a plain slice. The location has recently been redone. Pizza is better quality then dollar slice places but not better than other pizza places near by.
