Dr. Francis is amazing. From the moment you walk in, it’s a wonderful, warm experience. She takes ample time to understand exactly who and where you are, and she develops a strategy to help you get to where you need and want to be. I am so relieved to have been connected with her and to be able to start the next chapter of my wellness journey with her care. You cannot go wrong here. She is the real deal.

2 stars (instead of 1) for office environment, email communication and overall demeanor.
My problems began with severe gas and bloating after most foods that I’d eat. After seeing one GI Doctor I was discouraged by the lack of attention I was given and no results after blood work, stool samples, colonoscopy and endoscopy. Different diets (gluten free etc) didn’t help so I figured it had to be a deeper problem and decided to try the naturopathic route. I began seeing Dr. Francis this past year for a total of 6 months. My first visit gave me hope. She was incredibly attentive, had great energy and really listened to what I had to say. She informed me that I most likely had Candida overgrowth but would need testing to confirm. Tests came back showing that there was candida in my stomach and I felt so happy to have an answer. 3 months went by on the candida diet along with multiple herbal supplements and detox shakes. No improvement. Further testing through Pharmasan labs indicated that I was depressed, had low thyroid, and extremely low progesterone levels. All of this could apparently be linked back to my gut and of course required more supplements. 3 more months went by of trying new supplements and waiting for improvement with no results. I thought back about how I had been hoping to find the root cause of my problem but had actually started taking 10+ different herbs and supplements to combat the symptoms. Dr. Francis was great about emailing me back and answering my questions but I was beginning to think I should take the advice of my friends and family who were urging me to get a second opinion. I guiltily decided that it was time to see an endocrinologist to check on my low thyroid.
The endo doctor looked through my lab work and essentially told me it was all false. «Candida? Everyone has candida in their stomach so of COURSE it’s going to show up in your stool sample. Low T3 (thyroid hormone)? I don’t even test for T3 because it fluctuates throughout the day and isn’t an accurate measurement.» She told me that she’d check my thryoid with blood testing but that I should go see a GI again and get tested for SIBO (small intestine bacteria overgrowth) which I immediately wrote off. I felt completely dejected and stupid and ended up crying in the office out of frustration. Regardless, I didn’t completely give up on hope on Dr. Francis just yet.
A few days later, my thyroid results were in and everything looked perfectly normal. Next I saw a new gynecologist who I told about the progesterone cream I had started using. She was confused about why an early 20 year old would need to use such a thing and said it was most likely just replicating the effects of birth control. Last on my list, which should have been first, was to see a GI doctor again. I told her about my symptoms and was told to first do a breath test to test for bacterial overgrowth. My results came back positive and I’m currently undergoing treatment for small intestine bacterial overgrowth.
In short, I was told that I had a lot of problems which I don’t have. I bought a lot of products I didn’t need and wasted A LOT of money. I urge you to really do your research and be critical of naturopathy as a whole before taking her advice. Note that she uses a lab that also sells supplements. That she sells detox shakes through the same company and has also re-​branded them under her own company/​name. Look up naturopathy scams and keep them in mind when you’re told that you have candida, parasites, chemical imbalances or need to detox with expensive shake regimens. It’s easy to believe in something when it has such a huge following and tons of information online but do yourself a favor and read the flip side as well.

Dr. Francis changed my life. I am so thankful for her. It’s a cheesy thing to say but she really is a blessing.
She’s the first doctor I have been to (or acupuncturist, herbalist, etc) who steps back and sees the whole picture. She remembers details about my life, which I appreciate and value especially knowing she sees a good deal of patients. But not only that she is interested in more than listening to symptoms and blindly recommending herbs, products, etcetera. Her treatments are informed by testing, which makes a lot of sense. Most of all, unlike many other nutrition coaches, she completely understands no one can be perfect and that trying too hard to be «perfect» in healthy diet and lifestyle might actually lead to other social and mental issues. She will meet you where you are at without any judgements. Best of all she has so many practices combined, between acupuncture, naturopathy, chiropractic and massage there’s no reason to see anyone else.

Dr. Gabrielle Francis is a remarkable and incredible woman. She is a bright sacred jewel who guides so many on a path of true healing. The medicine in which she carries is so profound. Dr. Francis has three medical degrees to draw upon, including chiropractic, naturopathic, and acupuncture. She shares her vast ocean of healing knowledge and wisdom with all who come her way.
Gabrielle’s presence is one of deep compassion, patience and understanding. The guidance and faith she has for her patients are held with such integrity. She truly believes in ones capacity to heal. Her medical knowledge is so deeply rooted in the spiritual aspect as well the scientific aspect, where one can receive a beautiful combination of the two. She is dedicated to educating her patients, and the ways in which she relates all of her medicinal information, is easily receivable.
Gabrielle believes in the high potential we all have as human beings and shares her healing gifts unconditionally. She has revealed to so many that our bodies, our minds, and our spirits can be of great clarity and radiance and she continues to inspire many people to shine their greatest beauty. I will forever have a supreme love for Dr. Francis, for she is a divine catalyst for healing to be attained in its deepest forms.

Dr. Francis saved my uterus, my menstrual life, and gave me the only shot at fertility I’ll ever have. I highly recommend her services.
BTW, she recommends high end supplements for her patients. And I’m glad. It’s because quality matters. It is appropriate. It is not effective to use flax oil if it is rancid, and poor quality, and this is one reason why every holistic practitioner I’ve ever been too has had their preferred supplements for use, and their trusted brands that are not from Trader Joes.
Rather than needing a ‘deal’, one can respect the medicine and info and suggestions offered. If a patient is not willing to use the tools suggested by the doctor, then it’s actually appropriate to find a different doctor whose tools CAN be accessed by the patient. There will be a better match for both client and practitioner this way.
She is offering a unique blend of several styles of healing and therapy that are hard to find in one practitioner in their fullest expression. Those who see her are fortunate to benefit from this by having the support that can help them shift deeply stuck health problems.

This is the first time I’ve EVER been excited about returning to a doctor! I’m counting down to my next visit to Dr. Francis (15 days). At the end of my first visit, I didn’t want to leave. From the moment the elevator doors opened I felt like I’d stepped into a safe, spiritual haven.
She walked through my medical and life history in a professional, non-​judgmental way. I know this is her practice, but still, it made me feel special.

I’m soo happy that I found Dr. Francis! After suffering from IBS for the past 5 – 10 years, and receiving no diagnoses that were treatable from traditional medical doctors, Dr. Francis was able to diagnose and treat me within just one visit of seeing her! She is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, warm and really cares about doing what’s right for her patients.

I cannot recommend Dr. G highly enough! She is absolutely the BEST — well versed in both Eastern and Western medicine, she explains everything to you in graphic, easy-​to-​understand and scientific terms and is THOROUGH beyond belief. Never have I had such a careful examination. I have been complaining of migraines, hair loss, digestive issues and low energy levels for at least 4 – 5 years now and not a single doctor in the past was able to help me — either because they just didn’t know what to do or because they didn’t care enough! Dr. G wins on both counts. Since I’ve started seeing her, the frequency of my migraines has reduced to about 10% of what is was, my skin glows and I feel healthy overall. Seriously, I could go on and on… I just can’t believe that anybody would find her commercial in the least! Bianca, whatever it is that you did/​said to provoke that email, it’s your loss! Dr. G. you’re a life saver!

I find Dr. Francis very compassionate, approachable, caring and thorough in her work. She is skilled as a chiropractor, acupuncturist, naturopath and massage therapist. I have been going to her for over a year and love how cared for I feel at her office. I recommend her highly and without reservations.

Prior to finding her I had visits to not one or two, but three other licensed practitioners (forget about Kaiser), and all of them were unable to really figure out what was wrong, did the wrong tests or were just too confused out about what I had going on. One of them even said to me: «I just don’t know what to do with you». :/​Uh, really?
Well, Dr Francis did know and continues to follow through on her commitment for best care. She even began integrating the previously prescribed protocols so as not to have me spend more on what I already have been prescribe previously (bonus!).
And I appreciate her mindfulness when prescribing supplements, she knows that visiting a practitioner out of pocket can add up.
Her relaxing office sanctuary is exactly what allows you forget your troubles, I mean why else are you there to see her? Come in, take your shoes off, have a cup of tea and allow yourself time to unwind which I find is so important when one is not well. Her amazing staff of very knowledgeable and helpful women are there to support in every way possible and everyone always returns my call quickly. This is something I treasure.
Dr Francis is a rare and precious gem offering chiropractic, massage, acupuncture and naturopathic medicine in one visit! Who else in the city does that? I feel I’m in great hands and on my way to wellness.

Wow.
Your patient was openly very concerned about being able to afford everything, and she was asking Heather about whether she could get things for cheaper elsewhere. At that point Heather looked at me, indicating she was interested in my opinion… and I told her $ 21 for flax seed was pricy, and that she could find it at Trader Joe’s for $ 8. Heather then went on to suggest that she might find the Progreens at Rainbow for less.
I am totally shocked at the email I just received from you. Floored.
I cannot believe that you care so much more about your profit margin on products than you do about your patients! Unbelievable.
You should read those books on your table sometime. They might teach you something about compassion or love.

This woman literally changed my life. She is a miracle worker! I went to see her with multiple issues about 5 years ago – stomach issues, female problems, stress, back pain, etc. I now am almost never sick, and only go to see her for chiropractic adjustments.
She also helped a friend of mine through cancer and chemo, and he did not lose his hair! My sister has traveled to several developing countries and Gabrielle put her on a regimen in which she did not get sick. I have referred several people to her and she has only continued to do wonderful work. Plus, she’s just a nice, caring, cool person.

Dr. Francis has helped me through some of life’s serious bulls**t. She made me see the evil ways of Advil and helped cure some intense neck, back, and shoulder pain. Thanks to her, I no longer want to be banished to a «menstrual hut» every time Aunt Flo comes to town. She’s also pulled me through some pretty messy personal times. In short, an all-​around holistic experience.

I have really been impressed with Dr. Francis’ professionalism, caring personality, and demeanor.
Her office is also really cool looking– more like a spiritual sanctuary than a doctor’s office.
She has been invaluable in giving me advice on supplements and nutrition and diet. I am starting to make some really good progress with a long-​standing 10+ years major clinical depression, and think she has some really great stuff to offer. Definitely check her out when the MD isn’t quite enough…

to start off with i have been in 5 really bad car accidents, so my partner has been seeing her forever and has been pushing me to go see her for a while for a chiropractic and acupuncture session but i am well wicked cheap. i also thought acupuncture is just voodoo and not real medicine…
so for my first start up visit i must admit was a bit pricey but it very was well worth it. She and i talked about my other medical problems then she did a little over an hour chiropractic and acupuncture session. i felt WONDERFUL,
every time i go to see her now (about once a month) i feel fantastic for days and days and days,
maybe acupuncture isn’t voodoo
