If I could give this GameStop negative stars I would. This store is run so poorly I’m surprised it’s still open. Every time I go in a there, there are boxes of shipment laying around everywhere, the employees are always having conversations and never offer help, and the selection is not great. Last time I went in I reserved a game online, received a confirmation that it was placed on hold, and when I got to the store it was not there. And of course the employee working did nothing to help me out. If I was the manager of this location I would be embarrassed of the way my employees run the store. Never going back there again

Well it sure is a Gamestop. It’s one the larger side, so the selection is a little better, and being in Rockefeller Plaza is pretty cool. It and its employees seem pretty clean, so it’s got that going for it…
The downside, of course, is that it’s a Gamestop, with all of their shady policies and practices. Don’t get me started on what qualifies as a «new» game there, or the condition of some of their «used» games — «used up» is more appropriate. Still, that’s the company’s issue — the staff, individually, are quite nice.
So, for most of your gaming needs, head to Gamestop — but only because they’ve got a near-​monopoly on the gaming store industry around here.

Out of all the Gamestops this is the only one that’s acceptable.
It’s the cleanest Gamestop out there.
They have an amazing, down to earth and friendly staff. Very helpful, too.
They obviously have all the games that any other store would have.
It’s too bad that most of the people that go there are tourists and they don’t get the ratings they deserve.

Good selection of games and accessories. Quick and helpful staff. It seems most, if not all, GameStops are manned by game geeks which is great if you need help looking for gift for someone else.
You are not going to find this store walking around top side. It is underground along with a whole world of stores and eateries accessible by elevator or stairs.

Amazing customer service! Yesterday, I accidentally purchased the wrong version of a game at their 86th street store and when I got home I called Rockefeller to see if I could exchange it. They had one copy left, put it on hold for me, and kept the store open an extra ten minutes so I could pick it up and play that night. Couldn’t be happier, friendly, flexible and great. Thanks!

Pretty good selection of games for every system… accessories for wii and ps3 and the other stations… helpful staff… small store…
