Run, don’t walk ! Complete waste of time. You can tell a lot about an establishment by the office. Let me give you a few adjectives so you know what you are getting into: dingy, dark, small, hot, outdated. oh, and good luck riding the death trap of an elevator on your way up!
I submitted my child’s pictures via their website and heard back from Patti, the owner immediately wanting to meet me and my daughter. I drove an hour and a half in traffic and had my cousin along to help me as my child is two. Patti seemed bothered that my cousin was sitting in waiting «area» and was rude to her by barely acknowledging her and told me «nobody wants to meet your family when you go on auditions». She also barely looked at my daughter and wanted to just meet with me. I guess it’s a good thing I had someone with me or else my two year old would have been left alone while we met.
Our ten minute meeting went fine until I asked her a question about how many children she submits to her clients per job. I don’t think She liked my question and wouldn’t answer me directly, I asked for an average number and told her I am very new at this and just want to understand the process. She became irritated that I pressed her for an answer and it became very uncomfortable. She became very devil wears prada ish and said, «we will be in touch if we are interested». I didn’t want to waste any more of my time so I thanked her and left.
How can an agency that represents children not even look at my child? I have made a successful career in recruiting and sales, so meeting, getting along with people and communicating professionally is something I typically don’t struggle with. She told me this was a horrible age to start modeling. Well, I submitted my daughters age and info so why in the world did you want to meet with us??? She was condescending and also seemed annoyed that I lived in NJ. I was on time for our meeting as well. Why would you trust or want someone who can’t/won’t answer a simple questions out their business practices represent your child? Trust me, there are hundreds of other agencies who have well known clients too,
To summarize, this woman does not like to be questioned and wants to work with parents who will kiss her ass. I wasn’t expecting much from this meeting, but didn’t expect to be treated so poorly. I don’t know what I did to deserve the rude attitude.
Sorry Patti, you aren’t that special and neither is your agency. By the way, stop being cheap and pay for some AC in your office .

Wonderful, professional and truly legitimate agency that works for your children! We have been with them for just a few months but my daughter gets sent out frequently on projects with big clients and is having lots of fun! The people we deal with at Generation are down to earth, which is very refreshing in this somewhat crazy world of child modeling and acting. There is a great community of parents as well that all get along and support each other, which is very helpful. We are proud and grateful to be part of this great agency!

My daughter is represented by generation model management and we are very happy with the agency. She continues to be sent out for jobs and castings and she usually books them. It seems like generation has great contacts in this industry and they are recommended by anyone that has anything to do with this business. It is clear that they are not going to send someone out who is not right for the job or business. As they only want children who are willing and happy doing this kind of work. It is a shame to see anyone bash them as I know that the owner is sincere and works very hard to get these kids out there. As for us, I did not expect much entering my child in this business, but I have been completely surprised as to how many opportunities are out there, and proud that we have been able to take advantage of many of them, all thanks to generation.

I have never had a problem with getting paid by this Agency and they are always helpful and curtious.
I have Never heard any parent complain about not getting paid by Generation. EVER.
The most important thing is they are Representing my daughter to get her Work! And that is what they do!
She is always submitted for everything that is available for her and she is always being sent out.

I feel Generation is loyal to all their children they represent! And I know all parents with Generation are very happy.

It is Your job to Get your Kid on Castings! No agency no matter who it is wants to work with a parent who has a child never available. Don’t waste anyone’s time!

I was a model in the 70’s & 80’s and my mother was a model. My daughter is 3^rd generation model in my family.
I know this business inside and out.
And GENERATION MODEL MANAGEMENT is the only agency I would work with.
If you are looking for people to Constantly be «nice» to you, get a dog instead. This is a business.
Please treat it as such!

My child and I registered at Generation and were on their books for around 8 months. I found them to be a wholly disreputable company who never paid us a cent for our work. When I call to ask for payment they have threatened to destroy my child’s modelling career. As any parent will know threatening a child is taken very seriously and I would warn other parents considering child modelling to avoid the agency and seek out a better more professional business. The staff were horrible and incompetent and took to yelling at me on the phone. In short, avoid this agency, they may not even pay you for any work.
