Gio and his team are wonderful! All along the way I sent him ideas for creative photos I had and he was able to incorporate almost all of them. Not only are they fun and easy to work with, they really make sure to reflect you and your fiances personal style. Most photographers create phony poses that seem manufactured, but Gio captures the truth. My wedding photos are warm, genuine real, we are all laughing in many of them! Exactly how I wanted them. Instead of looking like cheesy 1980’s wedding photos, they are fun, funny and totally reflect the feelings of the day. He is so reasonable in terms of cost, and his work is worth MUCH more then he charges! Very pleased.

Gio was extremely easy to work with. I had found his website through a series of google searches and fell in love with his style of photography. We live in NJ but were getting married in Bufflo NY so we were looking for a photographer who could provide services for both. Gio happily worked out arrangements to be able to do both.
During the entire process, it was very easy to get in contact with Gio. He was always prompt with responses, including during his busy season, and was very straightforward throughout the process.
Both the engagement session and the photos at the wedding were very efficient! Gio managed to take tons of photos. Especially at the wedding, it seemed like Gio had scoped out the entire venue, and new exactly where the best places would be to take all of the photos.
All of the pictures turned out beautifully — I couldn’t be happier. Thanks Gio for capturing our special day so perfectly!

We took a lot of time selecting wedding photographer and then we found Gio. He was responsive when emailing back and forth and we got the pictures really fast. We just loved our engagement photos that he took! We were looking forward that he will be taking photos on our wedding day, but he send his team instead without telling us and didn’t show up himself. We were both a bit disappointed. Nevertheless the 2 photographers and videographer were still very friendly, professional, and arrived on time.
In general our wedding pictures were nice though we seemed to notice a difference in quality between the pictures one photographer was taking and the other. In some pictures we would’ve preferred the quality of those that were actually taken from the side over the main angle. We noticed that there were far fewer nice shots of just us; we were having trouble finding that one photo we wanted framed on our wall. We had our first look/​reveal in the park and we were somehow disappointed to find out that there was not take a single photo taken of the groom’s reaction when he first saw the bride. For us that was the main purpose of the reveal.
Other than these they were able to take wonderful pictures of every other moment of our wedding. We especially liked the pictures of both bride and groom getting ready before the ceremony as well as shots later on in the night of just the bride and groom.
We had to wait a month to get the pictures and a few more weeks after that for the video.

Gio and his team did an amazing job for our engagement shoot and wedding! They have a great eye for great pictures, and we could not be happier with their service!

On Time, Professional, Listens to you. Gio took our engagement & wedding photos. He really listens to you and grabs what you want & love and applies your idea to pictures. My family loved him because he will ease people to be comfortable and laugh in front of cameras. I highly recommend Gio for any events.

Gio Photography is amazing! Most recently we hired them for our wedding weekend. Across 3 days Gio and his team shot photography and video. Their biggest task was producing a same-​day edit that was featured at our evening Reception. Not only did the team meet the tight deadline but the video itself was fantastic! There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
Having a Hindu ceremony my husband and I were nervous about the team capturing the most nuanced shots. However, Alex (one of Gio’s senior photographers and our key contact for the weekend) and his team were so helpful and talented in capturing everything. They are polite, creative and always willing to work with your wishes and suggestions. For the contract price paid, a team of 3 photographers and 2 videographers were provides for the whole weekend. It felt like they were everywhere and never took a moment to rest. They became our friends — not just our favorite photographers — during the process.
We would recommend Gio Photography to anyone looking to have talented artists capture their most important moments and events. We absolutely loved working with them!

Gio and his assistant did an outstanding job capturing our wedding day: from the «getting ready» prep to the reception dancing – no special moment was missed. There were 2 factors that we were most important to us in choosing a photographer: price and quality. Gio Photography’s photo package for 5 hrs fit nicely into our budget but the quality of work and final photos were far superior than I could’ve hoped for. You can see the difference in quality right away just from the photos Gio has posted on his website. Just like the photos on his website, our photos were absolutely stunning. I’m a big fan of candid, photo-​journalistic style photos and there were plenty of those to choose from. Most of the time I didn’t even notice Gio and his assistant were around, which is exactly what you want in a photographer if you want to capture those candid moments on film. We had so many pictures to choose from, you would think there were at least 4 cameras taking photos at all times instead of just 2. Gio was great at keeping the posed family and wedding party photo session moving along quickly and creating unique, striking compositions. The colors and quality of the photos were better than I could’ve imagined! Thanks Gio was capturing our special day with such beauty, ease, and grace!

My wife and I got married on 12÷13÷14 at Terrace on the Park in Queens, NY. It was a pleasure to have Gio Photography & Video at my wedding. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the professionalism and outstanding service that Peter and Alex showed. The quality of the photographs are fantastic. What made them even more special was when I actually received compliments from my guests after the wedding. They asked me about the photographers, in particular, it was just Peter and Alex at a wedding with 200 people, and my guests had felt I had 10 photographers. They were able to capture every special moment and my wife and I couldn’t be happier. We highly recommend Gio Photography & Video for any occasion.

First of all, all the staff members were very professional, polite and pleasant to work with. While they worked very hard to capture every important moment of the day, they also tried not to be too intrusive upon the wedding party and the guests — this is a difficult balance to strike, and we really appreciate their work ethic and professionalism.
Second, Gio’s services are quite reasonably priced, especially compared to many other vendors in NYC whose prices are ridiculously inflated.
Finally, and most importantly, the final products were great. My husband and I, as well as our family members and friends, were very impressed with the quality of the pictures. We ended up ordering prints from them because, although we had all the digital copies, we wanted many of the photos framed and put on the wall of our apartment given how nicely they turned out.
