This is a review of my experience with ordering online NOT their chocolate. (their chocolate is fantastic).
I accessed their website from my phone and ordered for next day delivery a prompt to choose a day came up which i thought was odd but since i was ordering at about 9:30 pm I thought it was to determine if i wanted it by Friday or Saturday. I chose Saturday and paid 33 dollars and some cents. it is now Saturday and did not get the package. I called Customer Services and was told that i clicked Next Business day and chose Saturday which according to them shouldn’t be able to happen. their computer decided to not make my order to be delivered on Saturday but on Tuesday because for some arbitrary reason they don’t send things out to be delivered on Mondays.
(Freshness is not a real reason to not deliver on monday since I can and have ordered Nearly everything from Chocolates to produce to flowers to be delivered and have never had a restriction like that.)
I asked if there was a way for them to check inventory of the stores around me to see if any of them have what i ordered in stock. the woman said that she could not check that (understandable) she did give me numbers to local Godiva stores in my area so i could call myself. i asked her if i went to the store and got what i wanted could i cancel my online order and get a refund. she said it was not possible since it was already processed.
This tells me that my package must be ready to be delivered but is just sitting in some warehouse waiting till Monday so it can be delivered on Tuesday.
finally. if it takes 5 days to arrive, that’s not next day shipping. thats standard shipping. and not to be able to refund me anything is ridiculous

Considering they started in Belgium, Im surprised I didnt eat any of it while I was there. and I drove a good 1⁄3 or the country. My coworker brings a bunch of their truffles into work from NYC and she’s got a fearsome sweet tooth. I figured one was enough for me. Still tasty but just a bit on the sweet side from how I prefer it. I definitely go for the bitter aspects of chocolate more. However these folks are famous for a reason and their burgeoning international business shows.
