— Nearly everything here is overpriced, but I figure it’s what they have to do to pay the rent. But you’ll bleed from the nose helping them do it: $ 15 for a 6 pack, $ 4 for one a singular sponge, $ 6 for a 32oz bottle of standard cleaning spritz, etc.
— They’re whole business model is just a dare to see if you’re actually willing to walk a few more blocks to save a few bucks. And clearly for a lot of folks – including me! – the answer is no, because they’re still open.
— They’ve got decent fruit, veg and cut flowers outside
— Solid hot deli sandwiches
— Very decent iced coffee. I think a large is $ 2ish, which might make it the only deal in the whole place
— Definitely have stocked up for the LES /​yupster /​bougie crowd with Bonne Maman jam, Tate’s cookies, German beer, etc.
