The address on Unilocal is wrong, the Good Housekeeping Institute is actually on the 29th floor of the Hearst Tower, NOT on 9th avenue. This is basically the lab facility where all sorts of electrical(and non-electrical) applicances, cosmetics, household items, cleansers, clothing, toiletries, hair/skin products — anything really get tested and reviewed for the Good Housekeeping publications. They conduct all sorts of experiments and trials to put products to the ultimate test to see whether or not what the manufactures claim their products do, really DO it. The Good Housekeeping seal is pretty much known all over the world to denote quality and consumer trust, in other words, they do not play here.
