This is mostly for the benefit of one agent, Ross Fox, who was not only incompetent, but also totally unresponsive and unwilling to fix his mistakes. I put an application down on an apartment and paid all the application fees for myself and my rooommates. First, I was told they were $ 50 each-​when I went to the office, I was told they were actually $ 100. I had to go to the ATM to complete the application. Next, we put the application down and Ross told me we were pre-​rejected for the apartment– the good news is that we could get out $ 400 in fees back. Thus ensued the goose chase. I called, was told to come back next week– was told Ross was sick, received a few e-​mails pushing back dates, then was told we couldn’t get the fees back. I e-​mailed and called two of Ross’s managers, including the supposed CEO of the company. I was told Ross was mistaken and could choose to pay the fees back himself. I (in my opinion, considerately) allowed him to pay half of the fees instead of the full amount. 7 months later, I still have not received any portion of the fees back, after many many phone calls, e-​mails, and visits to the office. I HATE this company, not just because of Ross and his total unprofessionalism, but because of the ensuing run around I was given by several other people in his office, including top managers. I find brokers to be completely unnecessary– will never use this company again, and will try at all costs to avoid using a broker. IF you choose to use this company, do NOT choose Ross Fox as your agent. Good luck.
