Terrible salon. one of the worst I have ever been to. I have long thick hair and needed a blow out and I was in the area and about a few years back had gone to that same salon for a blow out.
The woman that they assigned to do my hair burned my scalp multiple times with the blower. MULTIPLE TIMES. She was not in the slightest bit gentle. She complained that I had so much hair «enough for 4» lol. She suggested that I get my layers cut some more so I did and she got scissor friendly. This woman cut so much hair and just kept on going after I said only cut a little bit. Dominican salons always have that problem, you tell them a little & they cut off 4 inches. After it was all done, she then charged me 60 dollars for the crap job she did. I usually pay around 20 to 30 dollars for a wash set & set and with a cut from 30 – 45 dollars. Never have I paid 60.
Note they had signs everywhere mentioning sales but I was so angry that I didn’t feel like fighting the price and just wanted to get out of there. DO NOT GO HERE.

I started this review as a 4 star while I was in the Salon getting my hair done. It was for for Cindee and Cindee only! She is not just a hair dresser she is an experience!
I have been coming here for years and getting my hair done with Cindee. Yes I took flights from Florida to NYC just to get my hair done while I lived there. Yes she is that good.
Unfortunately, I have seen this establishment go through 3 owners, the last being the worse. At one point the music was so loud you could not converse with other patrons, talk on your phone or even listen to your own thoughts.
Recently, the owner «encourages» you to pay in cash even though they clearly have a credit card machine and have taken this method of payment before. I felt very uncomfortable with this request (since I had no cash and my bank is nowhere near here) and when I expressed this to the owner she nearly ate me alive!
Extremely unprofessional owner who doesn’t value good customer service. I will not be going back after 10 plus years! I recently found out I won’t have too as Cindee now no longer works there.
I’m following her to her next destination! I will keep you posted. So you too can get fabulous quality color and cut at a reasonable price!
