nice spot to go to on a lunch break if you work in the area. The place can get crowded but wait times are not bad as they have a large amount of staff. They also charge $ 10 for a 10min massage which is like heaven. A lot of females and males go here. They have many color options when it comes to gel mani/​pedi. They take their time and do a great job. Can be a bit pricey but what d you expect for gel nails especially in Manhattan?! lol I only tried them once and was impressed and plan to use them again in the future. Try them out if you are in the area.

This salon is awesome, great location, friendly service, VERY clean. Best mani/​pedi I’ve gotten in a while.

Was referred to this salon by a coworker since it’s just a couple blocks from the office. I was told to ask for Ana or Olivia but both were out. That’s OK cause Jessica was great! Definitely plan on coming back for the $ 22 mani/​pedi.
Only giving it 4 stars because it was my first time here. I’ll update again after 1 or 2 visits.

I came in here on tuesday (its now saturday) for a quick manicure while waiting for a friend, and I while i appreciated that there was no wait time, and that they had a nice selection of colors, I’m not crazy about the quality of the manicure itself. For starters, some of my nails had bubbles in them after they finished polishing.
But more importantly, they filed my nails against the grain (from the center out, instead of from the sides in) which weakens the nail and therefor basically all of my nails have broken at the edges, some of them quite badly. This is not a problem I ever have when I go to my normal manicure place, or when i do them myself. Its also frustrating because its nails 101. So basically they have ruined my nails for at least a few weeks until they grow out past the point that they damaged. Not happy.

I had a better experience today. I love the location. It’s Monday, and perhaps because it’s Columbus Day, the wait time was relatively short. Three of us girls only waited 5 mins before being seated.
I really try not to go during work hours but I knew today was the only day I could sneak out to get a quick mani.
The service was good — nothing to complain of. The cleanliness of this place makes it a good go-​to. Today’s service made up for the bad that I experienced in May and I’ll be coming back as a regular, again. I just hope service remains good all the time and that today wasn’t a fluke. I do recall that I didn’t have the best experience getting gel manicure here — not sure if it’s just bc I didn’t have the best technician for it, but I’d only recommend this place for a simple mani + pedi combo and nothing else.

I didn’t find the experience to be customer-​friendly. The reception was brusque upon entry. Probably not intentionally, but it’s not warm for sure. This place would probably be great for someone who gets manicures frequently and just wants a no-​nonsense, pick-​a-​color-​and-​go place. But if you would like to have a relaxed experience or a chat, or if you would like someone to make any sort of recommendation as to what color, for example, would look better, then my experience indicates that it won’t be the place for you.
The manicure itself doesn’t seem to be carefully done. It’s smooth and looks nice enough, but the color should start closer to the cuticle. As it is, it almost looks old on the first day, as if my nails had time to grow out already. Also, when the lady asked me if I wanted my long nails clipped shorter, I said «just a little,» but they were clipped as short as if I needed to go play piano. How hastily things were done may be attributed to fatigue, maybe. I came in the evening on a weekday, and when I asked the manicurist how long her day was, she told me 12 hours.
Finally, I didn’t appreciate that I had to pay before the service was rendered. Maybe this is a standard in NYC. It was 9.50 upfront. Then I had to run around and find the lady who helped me afterwards to tip. Unpleasant.
For you to enjoy this place, you have to know what you want, be good at articulating yourself, and not mind a large, impersonal space.

Found Hana Nails & Spa on Unilocal early this morning. I was searching for somewhere to go quickly before work today. Noticed they open at 9am, which was perfect timing. I got there at 9:15 and only one woman was there. She was able to give me a quick manicure and it was very reasonable and looked great. Good to know that there’s a great nail salon one block away from my office that opens early!

Really bad powder gel fill (left my nails way too thick and uneven) followed by a really sloppy manicure. Nice staff but definitely not going back.

The masseuse are professional and the area is very clean.

Cons: 1) they do not clean and do not sanitized pedicure chair after the customers; 2) while I was waiting they didn’t offer to have a seat; 3) talking between each other while doing the job.
Pros: 1) Allen doing a good job and he is very nice guy; 2) have discounts; 3) have wi-​fi; 4) big space; 5) massage chair.

Happy with the service and that the staff listened to me when I requested my nail shape or asked to shorten the nails even after the soak.
Linda was my nail specialist and I was very with the results.

Not the best manicure and the woman who did my nails was very greedy for money and kept trying to get me to pay more than what the price was by adding things I didn’t ask for like a massage and quick dry, which are both usually included at the places I get my nails done.
My manicure looks pretty good though, especially for only 9 dollars!!!

Amazing place! Walked in and straight away was seen for wax, spa mani pedi, and glorious bank and foot massage. All for under $ 90. Really nice space as well, big and roomy. Will definitely be back!

Lots of staff and space so there wasn’t a wait at 4:30pm on Friday even for a walk-​in. Service is kind of aloof and not the friendliest. But hey, I dont mind as long as they do a good job. I got «round» instead of square file but it’s a teeeeny bit too round haha. 3 weeks in my pedi is still good. My mani took a while to set but lasted me a good week!
Large variety of Essie and OPI color polishes, though they hide the OPI in the corner.

Good price especially for New York City. $ 28.00 manicure pedicure on a Thursday. Great selection of 7 day polish, and only $ 10 vs. $ 8 for a manicure with the 7 day polish.
However, I went around 10:30 in the morning and only two people were working. They definitely could use some more staff because the two people who came in after me had to wait at least 15 – 20 minutes.

I needed to get a quick lunch break manicure, but this area’s manicure prices are through the roof. Hana, tucked away just past the tunnel on 41^st Street, is a beautiful, clean, and big salon with AMAZING prices and excellent service. From the second I walked in to the moment I walked out I had a great experience. The man who runs Hana was warm and welcoming, my nail technician, Nila, made conversation and was incredibly friendly (not to mention she did a kick-​ass job on my nails– thorough, and perfectly polished works of art), and another technician helped me into my coat after I finished drying.
$ 9 manicure?! Unheard of in this hood. Well…$ 9.50 with tax. Their color selection is massive as well. They have walls, yes, WALLS, of Essie, OPI, and at least three or four brands of gel polish. They also offer wine, but lets face it… knowing my tolerance I’d be wasted upon returning to work.
