Above and beyond my expectations. I had a rush job that would have required a die cut, which is not actually possible for a one day turnaround, and when Gene found out I had to cut and fold it by hand he did all he could to make my life easier by doing some extra trimming, and even made me a template to cut against. Not only did they deliver a really beautiful print job but made sure we knew that our NGO could remove the taxes by submitting a form to them before paying. Highly recommend and will definitely be using them again. Worth the haul from Queens!

I have now used hard copy printing for 3 or 4 print jobs in the last six months and each time they have done a fantastic job.
Although they may not be the cheapest place in town, the quality of their print jobs, helpful staff, quick turnaround time and ability to print everything from business cards to huge large scale posters has made hard copy printing my go to print shop.

It is so difficult to find a reliable and quick printing service place. And I have been printing things for 11 years in NY, as an architecture student and then an architect. I am so happy to have found a place that I am excited to return to for my printing services needs. I was here on Friday May 16, going absolutely crazy because I was about to miss the deadline for my masters degree thesis submission. So I walked in there like a frantic lunatic and these guys not only worked so quickly and efficiently, but had a beautiful calm personality that completely changed how I was feeling. They got my printing and binding service done for two books in no time. They have a very nice working ethic and it seemed to be a very nice working environment. I was out of there quickly and submitted my thesis just in time. I look forward to going back!

We were at a conference in New York and needed a poster printed out for our booth. I emailed the guys at Hard Copy late at night after arriving with an order for a sign and was skeptical that we would have any signage for our booth the next day. However, they told me they’d have it ready by noon the next day. When I showed up the following day they were still trying to get a perfect print of my image and had 3 prints they had made before out on the counter for me to inspect. To me the prints all looked great so I told them which one to use and they mounted it for me on the spot and then gave me one of the spare prints to use. Then it came time to pay and it was totally cheap despite being this huge rushed job.
So in summary; perfectionists who can produce stuff in a hurry while not breaking the bank. I couldn’t have been happier with these guys.

I signed up for Unilocal just to rave about this shop and my experience today. I didn’t have quite the right information on the file, and know nothing about design, and Gary, who I spoke with on the phone, walked me through the process, helped me come up with something beautiful, showed me a proof, and most amazingly, turned it all around in one business day. My client, whom the invitation is for, will be pleased, and I’m thrilled. This is a local business run by New Yorkers with New Yorkers’ needs in mind, and the human touch that makes all the difference. A+ all the way. Very highly recommended, convenient, and somewhere I know that I’ll return to again and again. Great price, too.

I had a wonderful experience using these guys. I needed a quick print job done (6 different large format images printed within 3 hours). I don’t consider myself a particularly savvy person when it comes to printing and this was a personal job. I tried the closest FedEx Kinko’s first, where they were not helpful at all and pretty dismissive and they couldn’t guarantee the job would be done in time. I did a quick search and found Hard Copy here on Unilocal.They were attentive and kind, helped me reformat my files to lower the price, showed me my paper options without getting annoyed and then printed everything I needed while I waited. The whole thing took less than 30 minutes. For those wondering about the price factor, the job cost 20 dollars less than what Kinko’s wanted to charge. Very highly recommended!

A+mazing customer service! Super fast turn around– I needed my poster in one day. Gene was helpful on the phone. Charlie also great with editing tips and even stopped the printer when he noticed a spot on the poster. While waiting, Charlie found an outlet for my phone to let it charge– darn Iphone! Just all in all a wonderful spot. Highly recommend them.

Really friendly, professional and fast. In the hectic and inpersonal neighborhood that is downtown NYC these guys made room for my Christmas Eve print job 10 minutes before closing (Kinkos couldn’t) and gave me the quality works and attention when people probably wanted to go home.

We use this place a fair amount at work, and I have mixed feelings every time. On one hand, they’re super convenient if you work down in the financial district, specifically by the seaport, but on the other hand, they’re pricey and can be unhelpful at times.
First of all: price. They charge something like $ 0.40 per color copy, so you can run up quite a tab if you’re printing 10 color presentations of 50 pages each. Also, for services like shredding, they’re a lot higher than you would think.
Gary is the guy my company usually uses. He’s friendly and the most helpful out of everyone else there. Honestly — the other guys there creep me out.
