Made an appointment for at home massage service for my husbands birthday. Made this appt a month in advance. Received an email at midnight telling me they would not be able to make it the next day. This is unacceptable business behavior! Now I’m scrambling for a new gift with only a few hours to go. Disgusting business practice. Would NEVER recommend.

Super shady so-​called «spa» which isn’t really a spa. It;s a small room in a shared office space with shady masseuses who don’t look like they are masseuses. Also impossible to book an appointment with their Lifebooker «coupons». Total scam– avoid this place at all costs!!!

Dr. Salshutz is a brilliant, compassionate acupuncturist and energy healer. I recommend her to everyone I know!

I have to agree with other review that scheduling apointments by email is a bit of a pain. They were very responsive, but instead of booking the apointment at the first contact, how it would be one would speak with someone on the phone, it took about 10 email back and forths over a couple of months. In the confirmation email a bit rudely they kept mentioning that I had to tip 20 to 25 percent of original price. I got a loot through lifebooker and the certificate said, as usual, 15 to 20 percent for good service.
I went for a full body massage that was supposed to combine several types of techniques. I did enjoy the session but it was different that any other massage I have had before. However, I felt that too much time was spent on getting and preparing the stones, etc, than on my body. Also, the lady that did the massage for me started with my arms, then without finishing the arms moved to something else. I think not enough time was spent on each part and there was too much jumping around one area to another without finishing the first one. If that is their technique they should communicate that to clients before hand.
Also, the lady had pretty bad english, which in itself is not bad for a masseuse, but I wanted to know a bit more about the techniques and I was not successful in finding out exactly what type of massage am I getting. She kept wispering stuff in Chinese under her breath, and making noises as if something is wrong (either with me or with what she just did). I have to say that made me feel uncomfortable. Better bedside manners would be great. I felt a bit rushed throughout the session and there was no relaxation as promised.
I tipped 15 percent of full price, as I thought that was appropriate for my experience. When I got home that day I got an email telling me that I did not tip enough! wow!

I have had many massages at various spas and resorts. My massage at the Healing Hands was among the best I have ever had and I can’t wait to go back. I just made another appointment and would highly reccomend their services.

IMPOSSIBLE to make an appointment — they only take emails, not phone calls, and often forget to get back to you or tell you you can come in for a certain time then, when you reply yes, they say its full for the next 3 days.
Im sure the massage is great, but I’m not going to find out.

I have been going to Healing Hands for a little over 3 years. Kimberly Sue Salshutz is the acupuncturist. She is amazing! She also does reiki and energy work. She is very easy to work with and makes you feel very comfortable the moment you get there. I always feel more relaxed after I leave there.
The first visit Kimberly sits and talks to you about your medical history and what is bothering you. But at every visit we chat about what has been going on in your life. Then she checks your pulses from your wrists and starts to figure out what points she will be using the needles on. She gives you a robe to change into and leaves the room. When she comes back you can feel the energy in the room and you also feel relaxi\ed. After she starts to put needles in she stops and listens to your energy. Usually at this moment I am feeling energy moving all over my body. I also and feeling more relaxed. After all the needles are in that are being used for this treatment Kimberly starts putting her hands on your shoulders and uses some hands on healing. This goes on for about 45 minutes.
I LOVE coming to see her. It feels like an internal massage. If you like acupuncture you should try her services. You will not regret it!
