History

Established in 1997.

After the completion of medical residency in 1993 at the #1 rated Northwestern University/​Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, I moved back to the Northeast to begin academic practice in NYC at Weill (Cornell) Medical Center. After teaching, publishing, lecturing and practicing at Cornell for a very fertile 4 years it was time to start my own practice.

My initial reasons for pursuing Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation/​Sports Medicine as my medical specialty was based on my childhood love of sports and dance. I understand the desire to continue to participate and compete as a source of enjoyment in life. My goals are your goals: to keep you moving, active and as pain-​free as possible.

Since 1997, My interests have expanded to Holistic and Integrative Care and I became Certified in Medical Acupuncture in Chengdu, China in 2007.
