The staff here are probably the friendliest in the area. Quality is great too. Everybody is nice, I like to go there because of the atmosphere. FUNFUNFUN!

Went because very close to our hotel. Line wasn’t long, but was busy. Didn’t take long for my order, and the pastries LOOKED a great. Bought a cookie, chocolate chip muffin, and vanilla coffee. Muffin was so brick hard, that I literally could knock on it(hint: if you’re going to serve stale muffins, heat them up for so the customer doesn’t know). Chocolate cookie was not stale, but tasted dry. Coffee is okay. Just okay. Would recommend coffee street down the road for coffee.

Hot & Crusty Bagel Café NY: Manhattan: UWS 12pm Sunday 21st June 2015 Four Stars After a visit to the sturgeon king around the corner. I enjoyed BEC — Bacon Egg and Cheese on a toasted Egg Bagel. It was only $ 6.5. They crisp the Bacon, cracked and fried some fresh Eggs, and they made sure my yellow American Cheese was thoroughly melted. The filling was delicious but the bagel was only so so. The Bagel was chewy and dense. The top was firm and there wasn’t any nuance of flavor. It was good for what it was– inexpensive filling bagel.

I love their food — pancakes, burger, cheesecake and their other cakes as well. Delivery is quick and opening hours are long.

Hot, but not crusty. I should say as a disclaimer that we ordered at 1:30 am. They delivered but it took a very long time. Hot and crusty would not be my first choice but if it were 1:30am and papa johns were closed, I’m sure we would order it all over again.

24 hours and fresh baked delicacies? Check. If I am honest I really only get the croissants from here. I think the cookies are a little dry but… those chocolate croissants. EVERYTIME I’M BACKINTHECITY.

The food here is amazing, although its a tad bit overpriced. Not uncommon on the upper westside. The panini’s and the Philly cheese steak are my favorite things to order. There are also some healthy, vegan options. Delivery is pretty quick, I used grub hub to order and it was delivered earlier than expected

I know it’s New York and everyone is on «hyper fast» mode. But when a store is not crowded, the gentleman at the cashier should at least be courteous to the paying customer. Instead he was busy talking with the blue haired girl who was the other cashier and seemed bothered that my order interrupted his conversation. I love Hot and Crusty shops, I go there for the cookies. The pastries I purchased tasted old and stale. That was a major disappointment. The gentleman who prepared our BLT was very nice and the sandwich was good. I don’t know about the back of the store or the bathroom, but the sitting area was not very clean and the trash areas were full. I get that it’s a chain establishment, but I strongly recommend new management.

So I’ve never actually been to the physical location, but I’ve ordered delivery countless times. They promise delivery between 15 – 30 minutes, and they’ve never taken longer than 15 min. It’s amazingly quick. I love their bagels and cream cheese. The iced coffee is great too. And all of their pastries. Don’t be too disappointed if you place a pastry order on Seamless and they call to let you know that they don’t have that flavor available today. It’s happened to me twice, but their other options are equally delicious. Decent prices.

The«cheese» croissant that I ordered did not have that much cheese in it. It was okay. The western omelette sandwich that I ordered also was kind of bland, and I didn’t enjoy it that much. However, cheese omelette that my friend got was simple and delicious. Great selection of dessert pastries though, and the lux bagel gives ALOT of lux.

Great selection of pastries. Try the tiramisu, you will not regret it. Food in the back, but can’t comment as I’ve only had cake from here. Decent seating area. Prices are high for a «deli,» but its the Upper West.

To be honest, I don’t know why I keep coming here. Maybe it’s for the soup and wrap lunch combo that they have, but I’ve definitely had better soups and sandwiches for a better price. I think that I come here every now and again when I’m working and having an extreme craving for soup. It’s the closest place(in relation to my workplace) that I know of that serves soup — but then again, I haven’t really looked. I’ve had a variety of their soups, most of them were pretty good, but I don’t think it was worth the price. Some of their wraps are kind of suspicious looking, but I always take a chance and get it anyway. I think buying soup and a wrap separately isn’t worth it, so if you’re going to do anything of that nature, go for the combo. But seriously, there’s a credit card minimum. Who does that anymore?

4 bucks for a cream cheese & jelly bagel? I should have walked out. Gave it 2 stars because the bagel itself was good, but not 4 dollars good.

H&C used to have the best pizza in the neighborhood. It had fresh mozzarella and fresh basil(that was a few years ago). Then they switched to the common pizza style, but it was still good and sometimes great. Every now and then I would go there for the pizza special, 2 slices and a soda for $ 6 with tax, or order a pie for delivery(always fast and mostly correct). Today I decided to order a pizza from them and it was one of the worst pizzas I have ever had. As soon as I opened the box I could tell the sauce was bad from the funky smell and color that was too red. It was the type of pizza that the cheese doesn’t stick to the crust but ends up falling off in a sloppy mess. Back to 3 stars for you only because I still like your panini, the build your own salads and you still have the best dessert quality and selection in the neighborhood.
