Hotspot Deli & Grocery

I come here near everyday to get lunch. It’s nearby and they have good lunch sandwiches because the place is also a deli as well as a convenience store. A real plus is their relatively cheap burgers — $ 2.75. Big reason why I keep coming since they opened in summer 2012. They also carry little powdered and crunchy donuts made by LadyLinda brand, which must be a local baker bc can’t find them anywhere else. They’re frequently sold out because they taste fantastic — I kid you not; it’s surprising bc you’d think they’re just ordinary little donuts in a pack. I get them for dessert everyday w my burger or sandwich :)
Rocky is the older man there. Very kind person. Speaks mostly Spanish, and enough English.
Recently they got a liquor license and started carrying beer too. Love that they have Guinness Extra Stout. Favorite of the owner, who’s a young hispanic-​american guy (shaved head) with a lot of energy. Nice to go to a business where the owner’s really excited about the place.
