Specialties
Both Ippudo locations will be open Sunday hours on Monday, January 18th in observance of MLK Jr. Day.
Please note Ippudo NY in East Village is temporarily CLOSED from January 19th-29th for renovations.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause, and do invite you to take the chance to try Ippudo Westside, our second location in Hell’s Kitchen, or Kuro-Obi, located in Times Square.
The only Ramen restaurant that makes everything on site, including noodles, soup, and toppings all from scratch. Being from Fukuoka in southern Japan, our specialty is the Tonkotsu pork soup based Ramen!
Our Shojin vegetarian Ramen with gluten-free rice noodles is offered only at the Westside location.
History
Established in 2008.
IPPUDO started in 1985 with a seating of only ten in the city of Fukuoka. Instantly, it revolutionized the ramen world with its fashionable décor, hospitable service, and delicious bowls of ramen. It appealed to the young and old alike and kick-started a ramen craze that lasted over two decades.
Today it has established itself as the market leader in Japan, with more than 70 outlets under the brand. In a fiercely competitive environment where more than 3,500 ramen restaurants come and go each year, IPPUDO has remained at the cutting edge of innovation and quality.
