Isaac Borowiec, DC

10 stars. Dr Borowiec is a fantastic chiropractor. I first went to him when I was starting to lift heavier at the gym just to make sure everything checked out and I wasn’t going to hurt myself. He also popped and loosened up my spine and neck. AMAZING. Now I go back once a month or so. Pretty awesome stuff.

While I was pregnant, I was reluctant to have anyone adjust me. Dr. Boroweic quickly instilled trust and was able to provide the right amount of treatment to help my hip pain without destabilizing my wonky joints. I’ve seen him a dozen times and, every time, he fixes the problem in one or just a few sessions. He’s a truly talented healer!

Dr Borowiec is truly amazing. My 13 year old daughter had such bad back pain that she could not partake in sports and was taking tablets just to help her get through the day. Her orthopaedic doctor sent her for physiotherapy. Half a year of physio brought little results. Just a few sessions with Dr Borowiec and she is now pain free.
I also had a dodgy knee that prevented me sometimes from jogging or even getting comfortable out of a chair. Two sessions with Dr Borowiec and my knee feels great.
I can recommend Dr Borowiec in the highest possible terms.

If I could give 6 stars for this clinic I would. I saw Dr Borowiec when I was 6 months pregnant after I pulled a muscle that was further aggravated by lifting my 2 year old. I was worried it would be a permanent feature for the rest of my pregnancy. Two chiro sessions later it was completely gone.
This week, I pulled another muscle and panicked as am due any minute. I tried to book online but couldn’t find a session so I contacted Dr Borowiec on email and he got me in straight away. He even booked me for a follow up appt the next day on the morning he was flying interstate. The pain has now gone.
Dr Borowiec is fabulous. He listens carefully and addressed both of my issues in the right spot straight away. He passed on some exercises to do at home and he followed up my treatment with a phone call and email. Extremely professional in my opinion. Plus his treatment WORKS.

I went to see Dr. Boroweic for a back pain that persisted for several weeks. He listened for a while, pressed here and there to test for pain, and informed me that I’m in luck, my condition is mild and I should be well fairly quickly.
Quickly turned out to be 4 sessions. Most chiropractors make multi-​month wellness plans, but Dr. Boroweic’s approach is to fix you up and send you on your way. He did all the standard adjustments, and a few non standard ones, but in addition showed me some exercises that would keep my back healthy and keep me away from the chiropractor’s office.
My pain level went from significant to none in 4 sessions, and Dr. Boroweic said he was done. Outstanding.

Dr Borowiec is outstanding. I appreciate the way that he asks questions, patiently listens, and then explains what he’s going to do and why. He integrates hands-​on muscle treatments with chiropractic techniques. There’s always a lot more going on during a visit than just a quick adjustment. He sends me home with exercises to do that are designed to help get at the root causes for the original injury (muscle tightness or weakness).

This is a overdue review. I went to see Dr. Boroweic last year due to knee pain which turned out to be IT Band Syndome. Dr. Boroweic spent a few sessions working on the problematic leg and taught me the stretches to prevent the problem.
He’s also very patient on answering all the questions that I have regarding the problem, what he’s working on etc… I have seen a number of chiropractors before, and Dr Boroweic is definitely the best of them all!

Dr. Boroweic is FANTASTIC. I was referred to him by a dear friend, another Dr. of ours who I was seeing for Chiropractic care, but due to an accident and needing someone more close by, I am beyond grateful for our friend who referred me to Dr. Boroweic. I was in my early pregnancy term when I was in a car accident and I truly never felt more amazing than after the care I received by Dr. Boroweic. You are always hesitant and first with new Dr. but I can promise you, with Dr. Boroweic, you will not be disspointed. Dr. Boroweic is very patient and listens to all your needs and desires. He does the best he can to make sure you walk out comfortable and always checks up on you too. He is flexible with your schedule and truly a great Dr.

I started running 30 min a day recently and after a month of my new routine I could hardly run 5min. The pain on the outside of me knee was unbearable. I found Dr. Borowiec through a friends referral and could not have been happier. Within two visits the pain was decreased at least 80%. I was able to continue with my goal of running, and after a month of care that included adjustments, massage, home exercise, and tape I am 100%.
His knowledge of the body was refreshing, and he seemed to know exactly how to tackle my issue. I highly recommend him for anyone’s issues. He will take the time to listen and explain what is going on. I must admit I was a bit skeptical going to a chiropractor for my knee, however Dr. Borowiec being board certified in sports medicine seems to know more then just the spine!

My wife first started seeing Dr. B for some ballet injuries and she recommended I check him out for my shoulder. I have had issues with my shoulder in the past which required surgery.
After a couple of visits, he increased the mobility in my shoulder and he also provided me with some excellent exercises to strengthen it up. It definitely made my outrigger canoe racing season less painful. Not only that, but he was very accommodating to my schedule — coming in early, so i could make it to my office in SF in time.
It’s been a few months since I last saw Dr. B, but I’ll definitely be coming back to get my shoulder back in form for my season. An excellent doctor, I’d recommend him to anyone who needs chiropractic care.

Dr. Borowiec is always present and respects my boundaries when I ask him for just soft tissue work sometimes (which he is excellent at). Isaac also is kind, patient, always on time and flexible. When I give him permission to adjust me I walk out feeling 10 times better. And he gives me valuable physical therapy lessons to take home. I highly suggest booking sessions with Dr. B before he gets stolen away by some major sports team.

I saw Isaac this last week, I could barely walk when I went in, my pelvis was twisted and it was causing me hip, low back, and leg pain. He assessed me, did some soft tissue work, and a couple of adjustments. After my second adjustment a week after the first, the hip, LBP, and leg pain resolved. I feel much better, thank you Dr. Boroweic! I have seen lots of chiropractors, but one thing unique about Isaac is he does soft tissue work as well as adjusting, I think this is a very important combination. I highly recommend Dr. Boroweic!

Dr. Borowiec is extremely attentive and highly committed to finding an efficient solution to whatever’s hurting! At this point, he’s helped me with my neck, shoulders, back and golfer’s elbow (which I somehow got without having ever played golf in my life).
In addition to very thorough in-​office visits, Dr. Borowiec is also very accommodating to your schedule. Dr. Borowiec takes the time to not just familiarize himself with your issue and treatment plan, but also to commit to memory, which is always helpful from both an efficiency and a customer service perspective. Finally, his prices are very reasonable and he accepts credit cards. What more can you ask for?

Dr. Borowiec treated me earlier this year for a back injury I sustained while moving, and was fantastic! I’m generally uneasy when it comes to any type of physical manipulation because I’m terrified of becoming paralyzed if it’s done wrong, but knowing this Dr. Borowiec took the time to explain what he was doing, the effect it would have, and the improvement it would make. I feel very comfortable in his care, and my back feels much better now! Also, I really like that I can make appointments online.

I went in for my first chiropractic exam with Dr. Borowiec several months ago. He is very professional and knowledgeable about the human body. He was able to explain to me the causes of some of the most common pains and injuries. Fortunately, I didn’t have any issues with my spine or muscles, but I did like knowing how adjusting my posture can positively alter my body.

Being workout obsessed and a desk job has really cause a lot of stiffness and a feeling of misalignment. Dr. Borowiec listened to my issues, explained the adjustments, and then proceeded to set me straight (literally my posture is so much better after the first session). After several treatments I am already feeling that aches I have dealt with for years may finally be disappearing. Dr. Borowiec does a great job of following up a couple days after the session to check in and see how things are going and I greatly appreciate that. Massage and stretching is great but it took Dr. Borowiec’s skills to finally make some lasting improvements.

Dr. Borowiec is truly gifted. He definitely knows his way to help patients and their complaints. Not only that, he also gives you tips and stretches on how to continue your daily activities, so you don’t screw up again.
Whenever I need a quick adjustment, or muscle work done I come to him. His hours are flexible, and he will work with your schedule.
I constantly have low back pain that never goes away. coming here, definitely eases my pain. Go book an appointment with him! You won’t regret it! Thanks Isaac!

Dr. Borowiec has helped me in many different ways — sports-​related injuries, suggesting a better seating position in my car, fixing my posture in the working place, and giving me a prescription for a more ergonomic chair at work.
First things first, I had an IT band injury that had been bugging me for years. Whenever I would run or play soccer, my knee would lock up and experience such great pain that I would not be able to continue the activity I was doing. It also significantly limited my skiing ability. Dr. Borowiec assessed the injury on the first visit and was able to completely eliminate the condition in 3 visits. Recommending at-​home and pre-​game stretching routines helped eliminate the pain. And in the two visits to his office, he stretched and massaged the IT band in a way that would make it stronger and more flexible.
Another issue I was experiencing was mid-​back pain and a tightness in my neck. The two injuries had their origins from my posture at work and the seating position I had in my car. Dr. Borowiec was able to assess both rather quickly (came out to my car and examined it in detail). In the 3 visits, he cracked the pain away using various techniques. None of them were painful, but they were a bit intimidating at first. The key was to relax and trust a professional to do his job.
He also gave me recommendations of things to do and things to avoid while at work such as not leaning my head too much forward, but instead having it rest on my neck and keeping it straight with my spine at all times. Due to this, I haven’t experienced any neck pain in over 1.5 years now after first seeing him.
I’d highly recommend Dr. Borowiec, as he’s patient and attentive. He is very knowledgeable about many different problems we all can experience such as sports-​related injuries, posture issues, and even sleep-​related pains. The part I liked the most is that he explains to you everything he is doing and wants you to understand it, as well. That’s how trust is build.

I’ve been to Dr. Borowiec 4 times. I have chronic back pain from heavy computer usage, and I always leave feeling great. Usually I have pain in my lower back which I think is common for desk jockeys. Borowiec has helped me by doing traction on me to help reduce chronic pain. He also showed me 2 different stretches I can do at home.
Before you leave, ask him to KT tape your sore spots! Best thing ever!

I don’t often write reviews on Unilocal but couldn’t resist in this case. Dr. Borowiec is an extremely competent and professional chiropractor. He seems to be exceptionally proficient in his evaluation and diagnosis of conditions, and was able to relieve my neck pain after just one visit. I will continue to seek his care for future aches and pains as well as general maintenance care because he is straightforward, honest, and effective in his approach. As a chiropractic patient under various Doctors for the past 18 years, I honestly can’t say enough positive things about this particular Doc. Do yourself a favor and check him out.

I just went to Dr. Borowiec today for some midback pain and came out feeling great! I work near by and I am constantly hunched over a computer. Dr. Borowiec was very kind and took the time to explain how my posture at work was causing my pain. Not only did he do a great job at treating my pain through adjustments, stretching, heat and muscle therapy he helped show me how to prevent this from happening going forward.
