I found this place on Unilocal and the pizza was looking good, so I decided to give it a try. The food arrived quickly, but with no spices which ruined the atmosphere. The pizza was pretty good but had to much oil on it.

I was really disappointed with their countertop pizza slices. Not fresh. I looked at Unilocal reviews to check out a new pizza spot and tried this one based on positive Unilocal reviews. But when I went to pick up some slices, nothing looked fresh. Everything on the 6 visible pizza trays on display had been sitting there long enough that the cheese was looking hard — this was between 730 and 8pm. I decided to order just a couple slices and get takeout from somewhere else. I ordered a plain slice, pepperoni slice and a pepperoni roll. So not good and when I brought them home to my son and brother, nobody liked the slices or roll and it all remained uneaten. I suppose an entire pizza pie would be fresh so I can’t talk to that but the hardened cheese … Ew. Not a good reflection of the freshness and quality they keep of their food. I likely won’t go back which is unfortunate because it’s a cute little spot with friendly employees and a cute little dining area in the back.

Italian Village is one of my go-to late night delivery spots on the UES. My go-to’s are usually their mozzarella sticks and their chicken parm heroes. Their mozzarella sticks are usually near perfection while the heroes are good but smaller than those from my usual neighborhood spot. I’d skip the calamari, though, as it usually arrives rubber and on the bland side. However, they’re open later than most places and deliver quickly. Overall, a solid spot in a neighborhood with few late, «student wallet-friendly» night food options.

Price to value is exceptional. We paid $ 7 for two huge slices of pizza. One sausage and the other peppers. There was one guy that had an Italian accent that made the experience even better.

Horrible for delivery! I am not sure what it’s like when you eat in– but it took them almost am hour to deliver! When I called to follow up they were rude enough to say it had only been 30mins! I know when I called your restaurant you know– my iPhone tells me the exact time!!! On top of that the food came ALL cold and was disgusting– we would have been better ordering Pizza Hut! Shame on you!

Pizza is consistently a 3/5, its on par with NYC pizza and their hours are good. The heros/pasta 3.5÷5 and big portions. Service here is a 0/5, I really dont like to post negative Unilocal review but, the counter guys are always short and rude with people. I have seen people a few times get in fights with them over things and leave mid order. Not a usual sight when ordering pizza. I always just take to go but, its an uncomfortable restaurant to be in because of the staff. Food is good enough for take out pizza and the prices are on par with everyone else on the UES.

I tried the pineapple and ham slice and another with fried chicken and tomatoes. I suspect there are gems on the menu based on other reviews. However, my experience was precisely medicore.

Ordered a large pie well done and it was the perfect pizza. Excellent cheese, tasty sauce, and the perfect crust(not too thin, not too thick, and chewy crust) Quick delivery, too!

This was my parents favorite place in the 80s – its been our families go to spot ever since I was a kid and its still the best. The meatballs are perfect, the cheese to sauce ratio on the pizza is spot on, and the owners are old school Italian. Order it in, eat it drunk, or just grab a salad slice for lunch-it holds up on any occasion.

Italian Village is a great, local pizzeria that hits the spot all the time! They are on target with their deliveries and you never have to wait long!

PLEASEREAD: This 5 star rating is for there MEATBALLPARMHERO. THESEARCHISOVER. Italian Village has won the BESTMEATBALLPARMHERO in NYC. I have ordered other things on their menu and yes, it’s all pretty good. But when I want a Meatball Parm Hero, I call Italian Village. When I want a chicken parm hero, I’ll call somewhere else. It’s just that simple. The meatballs are so big and tasty, and it’s joined in perfect harmony with the perfect amount of shredded mozz, and tangy sauce that all come together on that warm toasted Italian bread, it’s really the perfect combo. I highly suggest you try it. You won’t be let down. As for the pizza, it’s pretty good, but on the heavier side. I don’t dislike it, but I like other pizza on the UES a tad better. But this Meatball parm hero… MWAAAAAAH! Also, they serve Gino’s Rainbow Ices. But they had me at their Meatball Parm Hero. Get it. Please. I beg of you.

Don’t go here, this place is scam. One star is way too much. We ordered pesto pasta with shrimp and the shrimp was so over cooked it was almost inedible. We’re talking rock hard. So we called and complained and they said we’d get a free pasta dish next time we called. So…we called on Sunday for the free dish and the same woman who promised us a free pasta dish tried to tell us we’ll get a $ 6 credit… even tho we paid $ 18 for the terrible pesto. After arguing for an hour we were given a pasta dish plus garlic knots and were charged $ 31. FORWHAT?! I have no idea. Basically…they’re crooks. Plus the food is terrible.

It was pretty good. The service was a bit lacking. But the food overall was decent and it matched the prices. The chicken parm was as expected, but the pesto was creamy, as if it had been made with half and half or heavy cream which was a little… strange. I’d go back though

I love their slice, it’s my go to for just plain My husband always gets the chicken cutlet pie it’s so good. I have eaten there it’s good for like a night when your 78 year old parents are in town and you have a 2 year old and a newborn type of atmosphere, don’t go on a date or anything The bruschetta is very good too, just a slice is so good, food is good, pizza joint in front and seating in back

I am very pleased to say that the grade has been changed to an A. However, I can’t get over the fact that all of their windows are open at night(idk about the day), including the ones in front of the pizza making/display area. There’s a busy street in front, and piles of trash on the sidewalk in front. It just doesn’t seem sanitary. If they had a dollar slice option, I wouldn’t be complaining, but they don’t. They charge regular UES prices for their pizza. I will admit that there is something disgustingly good about the food. That’s probably not a good sign though. Bottom line, I’ll eat it if my boyfriend puts it in front of me. Unfortunately for my boyfriend, he got the runs a few hours after eating the pizza he got yesterday… I felt fine, so I won’t jump to any conclusions. I do have an iron stomach though haha.

unashamedly admit this is my go-to for late night, often inebriated pizza and I am never disappointed. Their slices are huge and they have tons of different options. It’s always quality pizza and never a let-down. They actually have a sit-down restaurant in the back which I’ve never tried but based on the quality of the pizza I would definitely check it out.

I never realized that this little Italian pizza spot was called the«Italian Village,» since most locals refer to it as Tony’s. In the front of the restaurant is the pizzeria, where you can get it by the slice or whole pies. In the back is the«dining room,» which has a full service Italian menu with all the standards you would expect. The food is great, the space is clean, and the staff is beyond friendly and welcoming. The prices for individual slices are a little steep, but what do you expect on the UES? We love it here and always come back for our pizza!

My favorite pizza. When I go other places it doesn’t feel right. Pricing is standard. Service is decent, but it if it was too good it wouldn’t be authentic New York pizza. They do have a dining room in the back, but I’ve never gone back there. Bottom line, if you want great pizza and you’re in the neighborhood, go here.

Italian Village is my new neighborhood mainstay for a classic NY style pie. It’s greasy, messy, cheesy, salty, and absolutely perfect. Delivery is super quick, and they’re on seamless. Oooooh I can’t wait until I can order from here again!
