Both times we’ve ordered from Jackson Hole, our food came much faster than the anticipated times. I’ve gotten the Woulia Boulia salad each time and it is delicious. It’s a little full of cheese, but I’ve never been one to complain about that! The not-too-sweet honey mustard dressing is a great complement to the savory hardboiled eggs, bacon, croutons and cheeses. Hubby gets the Pizza Burger which he definitely enjoys. Last time he also ordered the chicken parm chicken tenders and I LOVED them although he didn’t eat too much — I do admit they were *salty* but I was in the mood for it that night. Solid delivery option in our neighborhood.

I love Jackson Hole ever since I was a little kid I have gone there and it has not changed one bit. The food is fast and greasy like any breakfast place would be. They have the best milkshakes and I love their french toast and pancakes. It is a great place for a quick breakfast. They have multiple locations around New York and they all are delicious.

The burgers are big. Yes. And they are almost criminally under-seasoned and bland, but the ambience of the place is to die for. Jackson Hole is a classic diner, and hits the right notes(better, truth be told, than most diners around). The presence of a full bar was a definite bonus and our meal began with a good supply of fresh pickles and a pint of Stella. The burger was fresh, I cannot remember exactly what our waiter said, but I’m reasonably sure it was ground that morning on premises. If a big slab of burger and a cold beer in a truly marvelous diner is what you want, you cannot go wrong here.

This Jackson Hole location(E 91st& Madison) CLOSED this week!!! The building has structural issues so they were forced to close! I love Jackson hole, amazing food, Cobb salad is my favorite! There is ALWAYS something the kids will eat, the menu is huge. And its a perfect lunch spot before pre school drop off in the neighborhood! Hope the landlord does the needed work to the building so they can hopefully open back up?!

Ok, so — I’m a big tuna melt fan. I’ve written about them on Unilocal before; they’re one of my favorite sandwiches. So, when I saw that the Madison JH location had a tuna melt that you could order on GARLICBREAD with jalapenos, I nearly died — so many of my favorite things in that combination. I had one once, and loved it. Ordered it a second time and I got: Cheese No tuna No melt. Basically, cold cheese slice with jalapenos on garlic bread. It was so weird I almost wasn’t mad. But I’d really wanted that tuna melt on garlic bread, so I called them up but they’d already closed. The man refunded the sandwich charge which was the nice thing to do, and I give them credit for that, but I am gun shy now. Which is sad because the sandwich was delicious. I’m sure I’ll actually go back.

Delivery guy was nice. Otherwise, everything was gross. If you’re going to offer a baked potato, at least learn how to cook it, it’s not very difficult. Last time ordering. Always a bad experience. Messed up my order… Seamless sent the guy back, had to tip twice because it was 20 degrees outside. Everything was kind of crappy.

Zach let’s go over our case notes for Jackson Hole Burgers. It should be no surprise what Jackson Hole serves right? Waffles! Seriously, Zach, this place isn’t really just a burger joint, but more of a proper diner. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are covered here, covered with big plates. Often, big and greasy plates. One can’t walk into Jackson Hole and walk out hungry, isn’t that right Zach? The burgers are quite big and thick. Often is the case that these burgers are dying to fall off the bun, so one should be careful to hold the burger just right. And even if the burger is intimidating, its good enough to try. It isn’t a burger for the feint of heart(hopefully, just figuratively), right Zach? Though it may not be for everybody. The pile of meat is most certainly served dripping with grease. It’s a serious sandwich. They generally come with big steak fries, just in case you had any doubts about your appetite. But that’s not all, is it Zach? You really can get breakfast and the like. We can’t claim the quality of other dishes just yet, so further investigation is required. If a big piece of beef is what you’re in the market for, Jason Hole should be considered as a purveyor of such a service. Don’t come here without an appetite.

the burgers were good, we were a table of 7, so we had quite a mix of them. They were all yummy and cooked well. But OMG the service. they are rude, and just bad, plain bad.

This place is exactly what it looks like. A diner. With big, yummy burgers. If you are looking for a plate of greasy goodness in burger and french fry form than this is it! I had a burger here(without the bun) with bacon and bbq sauce — delish! I upgraded my order to include the sweet potato fries and they were crisp and tasty. We went with a group and everyone loved the burger combination that they ordered. It was the perfect spot for a night after partying when you aren’t quite feeling up to par but are craving a good meal. It was a little pricey but once you see how big the plates are you realize you are paying for your meal and another with the leftovers. I am only giving this a four because my husband was the lone one of the group who ordered chicken tenders with fries and he didn’t feel they were that great. If this was a review on the burgers and fries alone than I would give it a five.

I have always been a fan of Jackson Hole Burgers. When I went back home for a visit a few mths back we stopped by Jackson Hole and my oh my. I totally forgot how huge the burgers were. It took me 3 days to eat my burger with cutting it into 3 parts and I had onion rings with it. AWESOME. They may be a bit pricey for some but when you see the burger you know its worth the price!!! Getting hungry just thinking about them!!!

The food was okay but only in the way that it didn’t absolutely stink. I guess it was better than McDonalds, maybe, but if you’ve ever had 5 Guys or better burgers then there is absolutely no need to have a burger at this place. In my opinion, the burger was just a big olé, flavorless meat wad between 2 pieces of bread. I ordered the chili version of it with bacon. The chili tasted like it came from a can and the bacon’s only addition to the meal was the tough chewiness of strips that had been under the hot lamp since breakfast. I would not go back to Jackson Hole for a burger, ever. Maybe other fare is better?

I don’t get what the appeal of this place is. Just like it’s other location close to where I live off 2nd Ave on the UES the burgers are just not that good. GIANT. SLOPPY. GREASY. But not in a good way. Burgers here are big and sloppy, but size does not equal happiness at this Jackson Hole either. No real flavor. Also, the fries are always undercooked and kind of limp. I hate that! As this location is centered more in the«upscale» part of the UES on Madison Ave and 90th street the actual place is nicer than the other but still seems always empty during the week. Also, it is a bit tiny and cramped. Service is spotty at best. Made the mistake of coming here a few weeks ago as I was close by and regretted it. I’m done with these places. So many better spots around to grab a burger in the area now.

Got a delivery from them. I had a veggie burger and it was tasteless. I had the ‘texan’ one with fried eggs and asked for a topping of cooked onions. The bun was too soft, the burger itself was very strange tasting and strange looking. The onions weren’t all that good. On the whole, I would NEVER order veggie burger from this place. my friends who had the meat burger said it was fine, not great, but decent. The average price per burger is 9 – 10 $. If I give another couple of $s more, I’d have an excellent burger in 5napkin burger. We also ordered steak fries. WASBAD, SOGGY, OILY, NOTASTE. I am pretty sure we are not going to order from there again.

We were starving today so we chose to go to the first place we saw and it happened to be Jackson Hole. The place was tiny but we were able to get seating quickly. I was super disappointed to find that they didn’t have corned beef hash(my guilty breakfast pleasure). We had chicken wild rice soup that had huge chunks of chicken, go figure. I loved watching the burgers go by. They are like heart attacks on a plate. If you’re a meat lover, I guess these huge can’t fit a bite in burgers are ok. The burgers are not seasoned at all so you would think they would keep their sauces well stocked. That was not the case. After my meal though, I remembered why I stopped going to the Jackson Hole where I used to live: quantity isn’t necessarily better than quality.

My boyfriend swears by their banana pancakes, and I fear that rating Jackson Hole any lower than 4 stars may damage our relationship. We’ve tried banana pancakes at at least 10 popular brunch joints up and down the east side, and these win hands-down. Served soft and fluffy and piping hot, these babies are PACKED with fresh banana on the inside. They ooze with banana… no pathetic little slices atop boring ol’ buttermilk, here. My boy’s brother summed up well with: «This is a truly impressive banana to batter ratio.» Now, considering the other options(and there are many), this place gets 3 stars. I’m an omelet chick — I go for the eggs at breakfast, lunch, dinner, and the late night drunk munchies, and they’re just ok here. Lots of filling enveloped by a thin layer of egg. I kind of like the veggies cooked IN the thick egg layer, y’know? But to each her own. And sometimes the onion in my veggie omelet is pretty raw, and that crunchy, pungent thing doesn’t go down too well. The service isn’t the greatest — they’ve forgotten my home fries a couple of times, you’ve got to ask for refills more often than not, and the prices are a tad high. But, overall, their grub hits the spot, and their ginormous portions definitely help me recover from a late night out. Go for the banana pancakes!

I was the last person in my group to arrive at Jackson Hole and everyone already had their food served. I quickly skimmed the menu and ah hah! They have a veggie burger. I ordered that with a side of sweet potato fries, which I never had before. The sweet potatoes I had were usually baked. My summer was full of BBQ’s and I don’t think I could handle another burger. Within minutes my food came. Yes their portions are HUGE. My first bite into that veggie burger wow it was so good, full of flavor. If you are like me who had meat all summer long, try their veggie burger instead. Oh there’s also the sweet potato fries no need for ketchup, it taste a little sweet and perfect the way it is. I love sweet potatoes in general but if you prefer regular potato fries they have that as well and also delicious. I did tried what my friends ordered, the nachos with cheese melted over and mushroom burger were mmmm. amazing too. Boy, we were so full afterwards and headed to Central park for a walk. Great spot for lunch with your group of friends and gentle on the wallet.

If I was hungry I would’ve gotten a burger, so this is not a burger review. Fries were weak. Gravy weak. Latte okay. Service slow only because it was crowded, so overall okay. I was just a tad bit irked when we were leaving and even though there was so little space to walk, one of the waitress heading my way chose to get even more into my way. Why won’t you let me leave?!

I can only speak for the brunch experience there. Compared to the other brunch places on the UES with long waits, Jackson Hole was definitely a much easier place to go. Other than that, everyone else about this place reminds me of a Jersey diner. Menu, service, ambiance. They do have a brunch special for $ 15.95 that comes with a number of items(meal with toast, 2 glasses of mimosa/something else, etc) but limited to their selections(steak and eggs, pancakes, omelette). I got the vegetarian omelette with blueberry muffin, and my friend got the ham & cheese omelette. Instead of giving us potatoes, they gave us fries as a side with the omelette. The omelettes were not very tasty at all. Do not eat here unless you are tight on time(less than an hour to eat) and need something quick to eat for brunch(like in my circumstance).
