Jamba Juice

I went twice ordered my strwBerry whirl smoothie. Staffs aren’t friendly. Once they they give you the smoothie they can’t even say thank you or have a good day.

I walked 20 blocks to go to this Jamba Juice since it’s the closest one to me. I had a coupon that I was looking forward to using. As soon as I got there I saw they had a B from the health department. I didn’t dare go in and order anything because I didn’t want food poisoning. So gross and disappointing!

I got the Triple Revitalizer (Carrot, orange, banana) during the free smoothie deal from 9 – 11 am. I understand it’s free and maybe the quality isn’t as good as a «paid-​for» smoothie, but it did not taste good. It tasted really chalky and overly sweet and gross. I threw it out halfway. I watched them make it, and I did not see a fresh banana go into the smoothie, however, I did see them put a powder into it. The service was also not so quick and they seemed to be really disorganized. This promotion actually discouraged me from going back to Jamba Juice.

The lady at the register greeted me nicely, everything went smoothly until pick up. The guy gave my drink to someone else by accident, which isn’t entirely his fault because the girl thought that maybe it was hers. They asked for my name but when I went to pick up my drink not once did I hear them call anyone’s name.
The drink itself wasn’t blended well enough, the kale keeps getting stuck on the bottom of my straw :(not worth the $ 6+

Meh its ok tbh. I got a large mango go go and it was filled wayyyyyy below the lid I might as well of gotten a medium. That and it as a little too artificial for me for a buck more ill go to juice generation its a block over and up and the drinks are great

One of the more consistent Jamba locations in NYC. Good prices compared to smoothies at health food shops in the area. Their smoothies tend to be on the sweeter side, likely from added hidden sugar (the not-​so-​secret secret of national chains). You’ll need a water to drink after.
The staff is very nice, but busy! There’s always a few people waiting for their order and a few in line, so average turnaround is usually about 5 – 8 minutes. Easy access to 4−5−6 trains.

Absolutely one of the worst Jamba Juice I’ve been to in the City (and I’ve been to more than 12). Service was terrible and slow by the cashier. Her name was Dasmine or something like that. I came in, she looked up, saw me, looked down, and as if she is talking to herself, she said, What would you like. I’m not expecting a fanfare when a customer walks in, but an acknowledgment would be nice. Then she gave me seven quarters and two nickels as my change… When I asked her to give me a dollar bill instead, she again looked at me, looked down and walked away. Then as I was waiting for my drink, the guy behind me had the same issue. He actually asked, «aren’t you going to take my order?» Dasmine clearly didn’t wanted to be there and unfortunately cramped on my Jamba Juice experience as well. Also, my juice is really plumpy, and now I’m eating it with a spoon.

I am a big fan of Jamba. I like their Mango drink.

I like Jamba juice. I go to this one often as it’s convenient to my bf’s apartment. I like the fresh juices. They are generally fast and helpful with my order as I am allergic to peaches and gluten sometimes I have to change what is in the smoothie I chose.
I will say that I wish it wasn’t a juice they used as a base as I have no clue what is in that juice (I know this happens at all JJ, not just this one).

Internet high five to Matt the manager for making the best Acai Smoothie eva’r. Hear that? That is the sound of me hitting that satisfaction bell. Ding, ding, ding.

This is my go to spot on the way to the subway when heading to work in the morning when I am craving something cold and sweet. Not too long ago they re-​vamped the place and raised their rating from a «C» to an «A» so that in itself deserves an upgrade in star rating. The place looks clean and there is something psychologically reassuring just knowing that «A» is on the window.
The staff greets you with a «welcome to Jamba» as if by design, but it’s all good and cheery. This location can get crazy crowded during morning rush hour as it’s a block from the subway stop but the staff moves quick enough to keep the lines moving. Seems like the staff has improved over the year.
You also can’t complain about getting a $ 1 smoothies these past few days between 9−11am during a special Jamba promotion! Cheap, cold, and tasty! Perfect to sip on during these hot humid dog days of summer. That, and you also feel like it’s a healthy treat.

I have always like jamba juice!!! I mean, fruit smoothies, quick and clean? what’s not to like?
This place is a little slower due to traffic and location, but it’s worth the wait if you like smoothies and too lazy to get lots of ingredient at home to make one.

Staff here always seem friendly and I always get a «WELCOME TO JAMBA!» which really brightens my day. NOT. Hahaha. Okay, maybe just a little.
I don’t really care much for the smoothies at ANY Jamba so I’m not downgrading this particular one because of that. So of course I only get the orange and carrot juices offered here. Freshly squeezed right in my face, yum!
UES Jamba Juice– this pretty much sums up this place.

Not very up-​to-​code in terms of cleanliness. They were shut down for a bit because they failed to pass their health code inspection. Now, it is back up and running. I come here once in a while with my friend who loves Jamba Juice. I myself am not really a fan (I’d rather eat my fruits than drink them).
The service here is pretty decent, but it really depends on who you get. My friend once ordered his usual and it took the girl probably about 5 minutes to put in the order. He subbed mango for strawberries or something and she didn’t know how to change the order on the register. After a while, she just inputted it without the change and told the guy who was making the smoothie to sub out mango for strawberries. Besides that one time, service is pretty smooth and quick. Never really had any problems.

Okay so, it is truly not that hard to get a ‘C’ so I wasn’t that put off when I went in today in the 90 degree heat.
They may have gotten a C by the health department but they should get an F for service. The girl who was making my drink had severe A.D.D. it took about 7 minutes and I was practically alone in there. She also kept touching her face and wiping her nose. She wasn’t wearing gloves. I was so put off that instead of saying anything I just won’t go back.
The guy who took my order asked me my name, I told him Sharon. He typed in «Cher’. The snot nose rubbing chick who eventually handed me off my mango-​a– go-​go. looked at me skeptically and said «Cher?» to the tone of «as if». save your judgements honey and buy a better attitude.

This is the Jamba Juice that has had a C rating for months. I can see why because their service and drink making skills are just horrendous. A few times already, my hand is at the door but then the gigantic «C» rating has made me take my hand off the door and walk away. It’s pretty bad that a small juice place can get a C!
But one night I was really itching for a smoothie so I dropped in since the place was empty. The guy behind the counter seemed very friendly and in mid-​sentence with someone else said «welcome to Jamba!» Must have been an important thing during their training?
I ordered an Orange Dream Machine with an Immunity boost. He seemed frazzled and was out of pennies, so I told him not to worry about it and put those pennies in the tip jar when he got them. Everything was very lighthearted and I assumed he was in training because he was asking about every step of this transaction.
Well, the next few minutes were really weird. 3 guys were running around, with their sleeves dipping into things and all these jars of powders had no lids or labels. «My» guy was yelling «uhhh HEY! Which one of these is Immunity?» And I’m assuming the manager comes running and is frazzled saying «oh no… where’s the green spoon? Did you move it?!» They are all yelling and walking around, and my guy is still holding the open container, wondering where the boost was.
He finally put in 1 of the powders in, which I assume was the wrong one because the juice turned brown. He took one look at it, and told the manager «uhh I think it’s wrong.» By this time, 5 – 6 people had come in so now these guys are all in a hurry. Guy #3 is done making another drink and says to me «Strawberries Wild?» I say no, repeat my drink and watch as the other 2 guys are scrambling for lids and cups, talking over these exposed open lids and containers. There are seriously like 10 containers all open and it’s clear that they don’t know what any of them are since they’re not labeled. They seem stressed that there are more people walking in and the tension was growing between them.
They finally put my things in a blender (to be honest, I don’t know if I even got the right boost) and I ask Guy #3 if he can make mine extra blended. He looks at me confused «Umm but it’s already blended?» Sigh. Nevermind. I shouldn’t try to make this any more complicated than it already is!
I leave after about 13 minutes. A little bit too long for being the 1^st person in an empty Jamba Juice with THREE guys. Ghetto.
I can’t believe I paid over $ 5 for such incompetence!

Before today, I hadn’t had a Jamba Juice in probably over 5 years (since I lived in CA). I was never into highly caloric meal-​replacement drinks, and even though I’d enjoyed some of their smoothies in the past, I just never felt the need here in NY. I have, however, been carrying around a partially-​used Jamba Juice gift card in my wallet all these years — it has been moved from old wallet to new wallet, again and again, always holding the promise of a discounted smoothie for that unknown day somewhere far in the future when I would suddenly want something from Jamba Juice.
That day was today. I was surprised to see that an old favorite of mine (Peach Pleasure) is still on the menu, although a lot has changed from the Jamba of yore — bigger menu, more types of smoothie bases, fewer ones with orange juice, which, ironically, is what I really wanted. I opted for the Mango Mantra, one of the lower calorie options that includes OJ and splenda — it was great, with a taste akin to a creamsicle. Best of all, they honored my ancient, battered gift card, which had honorably held on to the last bit of data it had been given all those years ago: $ 1.15 off of the cost of my smoothie.
