Note that the police officer also LIED on the stand, so always get a traffic lawyer. if I had not engaged Jeff I would not have had the ticket dismissed. He’s a great guy too!

NY’s cell phone laws are a legal racket — you may not be talking or texting, but just touching your phone is grounds for a fine and 5 points on your license.
I had all the detailed phone records that I had been neither talking nor texting, but just tapping the screen to see the GPS (no more diversion than changing a radio station — maybe they will make that illegal next) was enough for the Judge. Fortunately Jeffrey Levine spoke his language, both about the wrong typology of claim, and pointing out the holes in the officer’s story.
A great result — all dropped — but that clearly would not have been the outcome had I gone in without counsel. Strongly recommend Attorney Levine if you care about the outcome.

Who do you call when all seems lost Jeff Levine. Winning in traffic court is not easy for the professional let alone impossible for the amateur. Like anything in life practice makes perfect and with Jeff you get a seasoned professional who understands the law and how to protect our rights as citizens.
When I received a second summons in less than a year I was concerned about my insurance rates and the points on my license. Attorney Levine spoke with me on the phone and took my statement of facts. As the court date approached I decided to write an affidavit of the events as i remembered them. Not only did I not lose time from work but Attorney Levine WON the case

I’m not sure how to rate him. I just inquired about his fee for writing a motion to vacate a plea. He said the process would cost 5000 dollars, but two other lawyers said it would cost 400 (I was still searching for someone who would say 250). Maybe Levine sees that it will involve more attorney work. I don’t know. But the difference between quoted prices (400 vs 5000) is so enormous that I was shocked. As soon as I mentioned the 400 quote, Levine ended the phone conversation as quickly as possible.
To be fair, a fourth lawyer quoted me a price of 1500. So, 400 is very low.

It’s not like me to leave a bad review but I was totally not happy with the work & effort Jeffrey Levine put forth representing me on my case which was so important for me. His fees are higher than most attorneys & I feel he could have truly won a simple case which I wasn’t there for but hired an attorney to help win the case to my favor.
