The staff is knowledgeable about the products and very friendly personal customer service. Paige and Nicole are great employees they helped me make a great choice on a very unique and stylish button down shirt. This was my first time here and it will not be my last. Most likely will continue shopping online since I am from Chicago. I am definitely a customer for life.

seriously, this place is spectacular. between Jess (the lovely shop assistant that helped me out when i was still wearing the same shirt at work from the night before) and Brian (store owner, he’s the guy that has a pic up with Russell Simmons), the staff here is really just the best.
they do a really good job of getting a sense of your tastes and which stuff of theirs you like, and don’t pressure you into buying the stuff you don’t. also, if you need to wear their stuff for an event or something that night, they’ll steam it right there in the shop.
they also make the best hoodie ever – it’s made out of wool and looks really professional; i call it my «Adult Hoodie» and it is easily the favorite piece of clothing i own.

The only US mens shirt retailer that I’ve found (so far) that does a high quality, European-​sized slim fit. Designs are excellent too, with just the right amount of flair.

Bought a special on Gilt. $ 100 for $ 200 to spend. Dress shirts are all $ 148 and ties are about $ 80. Bought a shirt and tie for which came out to about $ 140 after tax. Really good material and staff was nice. Check out their sale options which are about $ 85 a shirt.

Great shirts for the modern man, whether he is 18 or 60. My BF owns at least 5 and are the best fitting shirts he owns. The color combinations, the fit, the price and the service are all five star. A rising star!

I bought a plain, white shirt from Jeremy about a year ago and I have been very pleased with the quality. The cut is simple, fits my athletic frame, and isn’t too formal but remains distinguished. I will be back either for myself or with friends/​family.

Amazing staff! Extremely helpful, polite and friendly too! Quality comes at a price but w/​o a doubt, these shirts are worth worth every penny. The online store is wonderful, the e-​mails are great although they are costly as I buy at least one shirt every other e-​mail and the store is beautiful. Too bad I live in San Diego. These are my favorite shirts and every outing, you can bet that 1) you’ll get a compliment 2) you’ll be different that the other guys wearing regular branded shirts.

I’ve been the same weight for about 8 years now. To my exasperation, I kept getting the «have you lost weight» question from an inordinate number of my work colleagues.
Then I realized they’ve always seen me in work clothes and suddenly see me in my street attire. The culprit: my off-​the-​rack dress shirts do a horrible job fitting my «athletic» physique, resulting in the dreaded exploding mushroom top of excess fabric around the waist area.
So for the past year, I’ve been a man on a mission searching for a high-​quality shirt that actually fits my build. Plus, I wanted those shirts to be versatile enough to be appropriate for work but cool enough to transition into a night-​out-​in-​NYC afterwards.
No matter where I went, I kept coming up empty. Enter, Jeremy Argyle.
They do one thing and one thing only: high quality great-​fitting shirts. Walk into the store, and it’s clear within the first second that’s all they do. All other distractions are eliminated, which is a refreshing change of pace from department stores and even most boutiques that have an overwhelming number of competing agendas.
The experience is delightfully simple across the board:
— The shirts come in either fitted (which worked for me) or standard cut. The majority are designed for multi-​functionality (work and after work appropriate).
— The subtle detailing is key: square buttons on the shirt sleeves, unique patterning on the collar/​shirt sleeve regions, and pops of color around the button holes on the shirts.
— Brian (the owner) is helpful and pressure free. I found him to be genuinely honest and wouldn’t hesitate to point out shirts he doesn’t like.
— Shirts are $ 148 across the board, which is a fair price point considering the quality of design, detailing and fabric.
I think I’ve finally found my shirt Mecca. I plucked 6 shirts on my first visit, and guarantee to be a long-​time customer so long as the model stays true to form.

Bought three shirts on-​line and they arrived the next day. Super fast shipping. My own fault I ordered the wrong size so I placed a call to the store and they did an advanced replacement on the shirts. Amazing quality and amazing customer service. Will be shopping here again

Cool store, and cool shirts at decent prices for SOHO. The staff was very helpful helping me figure out which size was mine.

I don’t often window shop, but I had to go inside this place after seeing a few of their shirts in the window. Here is what I learned: this is the only store of this designer that exists, you’ll probably meet him if you go inside, and he’s a really nice Canadian guy who is proportioned exactly like me, so those five stars are mostly meaningful if you’re a skinny guy who can never find cool shirts that fit well, but this store is no doubt just as good for anyone of any body type. The shirts are all button-​downs that strike a balance between stylish and traditional, so many of them are interesting enough to wear out and conservative enough to wear to work. The details are really cool, so make sure you ask about what makes these shirts unique: square buttons, hidden design elements (revealed, e.g., when you roll up the sleeves), juxtaposition of materials, modest flourishes here and there, etc. I found myself basically wanting to buy all of them, particular the generous selection generously on sale. Unlike most designer boutiques, this one is affordable, too, and that was evidently a goal of its founder-​owner-​designer. Worth checking out!

Recipe for a perfect winter afternoon two days after Christmas: (1) lunch at Balthazar, (2) burn off the calories from the frites by strolling through SoHo, (3) stop in at Jeremy Argyle and upgrade your wardrobe!
Brian was a great host, offering us libations to keep us warm while we shopped inside. The selection of shirts were great — stylish and unique without making you scratch your head to say, «What were they thinking?!» Classics with a twist: great colors, patterns, and cool trim on the cuffs. I walked out of there with one shirt, but will plan to order more online. A great find for both locals and out-​of-​towners!

Stumbled upon this brand new store the other day. Its hard not to notice the purple sign and purple painted walls outside the store, but the shirts are pretty fabulous.
They are a blend of a great work shirt and a great going out shirt mixed into one, you get to decide.
I love this store, but I hate the fact that most of my next paycheck will be used here. Damn.
