Lol whoever wants to go to this place must be out of their mind, their billing system is savage and if you call them and ask them about details they will be very rude with u and doesn’t explain basically hang up the call. The doctor is terrible, she checked my toe for two minutes and left. That’s it i was confused. They charge 3 times the price to insurance company, which is also savage. This is a trash place and I’m not even kidding. trash
Never go to this place or u will regret!

RUDE AND DISMISSIVE:
The staff at this office were very rude, dismissive and had a major attitude. After I explained that I was late for my appointment because of a massive train delay, stuck underground with no reception, I received absolutely no understanding or compassion from the very rude man at the front desk who spoke to me with an angry tone and aggressive attitude. I was turned away even though I had a severe pain in my foot. The office was not busy, in fact the doctor walked right passed me and didn’t even bother to acknowledge me or try to understand the situation. If you want to be treated by someone with no compassion and a snarky attitude, then visit this office you’ll get plenty of that.

Don’t get the bad reviews on here at all.
Got referred to Dr. Minkapelli for some glass that was stuck in my foot. My primary care doctor actually printed out the Unilocal page so that I had the address, and told me not to read the reviews. Of course I did, and was horrified by them. I kept the appointment and went in with low expectations.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I waited 5 minutes, went it and sat with the nurse while she took my medical history. The doc came in and within 6 minutes, had the glass out of my foot and sent me on my way. After a month of suffering, I am finally starting to see my foot heal. I was on my way 10 minutes after my appointment time.
*I would have given them 5 stars, but the nurse taking my medial history was slow and had a terrible bedside manner.

DON’T GO HERE. If you’re in pain and it’s extremely urgent, then especially, DON’T GO HERE. The vast incompetencies of Dr. Fox’s office will only leave you in more pain to the point that 6 weeks of your summer will be spent without crucial medical devices.
I came with chronic foot pain from a competing array of foot problems. The doctor didn’t have me stand up, didn’t ask me to walk around, just suggested I get my orthotics refurbished and that it would take a week. Three weeks later, I don’t have my orthotics, every step I take is painful, and I was just told the facility they sent them to doesn’t answer messages and actually has a four week turn-​around time. Nor do they know when my orthotics were sent there.
Stay away. Unless you want to make your problem worse. Then by all means, go see «Dr.» Fox.

i went to Dr. Fox’s office in 2008 with a very painful foot. I did not see Dr. Fox but saw a young gentlemen who I believe was a technician.
He inspected by foot and for about five minutes «removed necrotic Tissue» according to the bill. I was told that I had a condition that could not be helped and that I should get a plastic donut to circle the spot.
Two weeks later as the pain had gotten worse I went to an orthotic shoe store on Lexington ave. The shoe fitter asked me to remove my sock, looked at my foot, announced that it was bleeding and said «what’s this»
A ⁵⁄₈ inch piece of wire was stuck in my foot. He removed the wire, did not sell me the shoes and my foot was fine.
My insurance Company paid $ 250 automatically and I received an additional bill for $ 88.00 which I did not pay. The Doctor’s office called and I explained the situation. They said that they would report me to the credit agencies and «destroy my credit». I ignored the situation, they reported the non payment and it is on all my credit reports. I started the process of reporting the situation to the credit agencies but it is not worth the trouble. I paid the bill reluctantly today. It will probably not get reported to the credit agencies. My feet are still fine.

I was referred to Dr. Fox practice by my primary care physician for foot pain. I was seen by Dr. Minicipelli. My exam took 10 minutes or less. The dr. looked at my feet and told me I needed orthotics. He did not ask me to walk to examine my gait which I would have expected. He then told me they would call and find out if my insurance covered the orthotics and get back to me. I am no doctor so I don’t know if the exam was proper but it didn’t feel proper to me so I decided not to go back. They did call me back twice but I did not return the call as I knew I would not return. Then this week I got a bill in the mail for the percentage of the orthotics that my insurance did not cover. They had billed my insurance company for a service they never performed! To add insult to injury, the bill was 30 – 60 days past due! I called them and the woman informed me that I had signed something allowing them to bill for the orthotics on my initial consultation. How can you bill for services you NEVER performed? That is fraud in my book. I certainly reported the incident to my insurance company. My advice — do your homework and spend your money on someone reputable! Stay away!!!

I liked the staff — they were nice and friendly — but after a couple of visits, no change in the pain. Today I went to a shoe store where the guy suggested an arch support to take the pressure off the area in my foot that hurt. It worked like a charm. I only wonder why the doctor who saw me twice did not recommend this simple and cost effective treatment. Today was the first pain free day I have had. Go to Eneslow and spend your money on German — the foot guy! (pronounced HERMAN)

I found Dr. Fox to be kind, professional and efficient. He answered all my questions and worked quickly. Would definitely go back to him (but hope I don’t have to!).

After consulting with reputable podiatrists, I have come to realize that Dr. Fox’s office is hurried, patients are rushed, and they will hold you responsible for large overcharges on simple materials. We didn’t even see the same doctor during the two visits, making the follow up visit pointless.

Just one opinion, maybe they have helped others. My PCP sent me to this office, for a neuroma. Went back 4 times to 2 of their doctors. Didn’t help my problem, too rushed, not good listeners. Gave me cortisone injections that may have hurt more than helped.
