History

Established in 2015.

His New York City office was opened in Spring of 2015 in the Flatiron District at Omni Wellness Center because there he has found he can effectively treat patients in a beautiful and tranquil environment that feels a million miles away from the city. The space has a warm energy all its own and present patients agree that its a great place to heal, recharge and get the results they’ve come for.

Business Owner

Joseph Maggio is a Licensed Acupuncturist in New York State. He earned his Master’s Degree in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City and has specialized training in Classical Acupuncture, specifically in the teachings of Jeffrey Yuen, a master Chinese Medicine teacher and practitioner, whose medical lineage dates back almost 2,000 years. Joseph’s emphasis is on complete relaxation as the means towards profound healing. From the tranquil office environment, the unique care and attention he gives his patients, and his calm, serene demeanor, he provides the space for the mind to relax and the whole person to heal.

He decided in earnest that his life would be about healing himself and supporting others when he was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine from 2005 – 2007. He had gone through gastrointestinal issues in the conditions there. Those challenges led him to meditation, holistic nutrition and Chinese Medicine as cornerstones of vibrant wellbeing.
