When I first got engaged there was only two things I knew for sure, the date that i wanted to have it on and who I wanted to capture my day (Joshua Dwain Photography) I saw his work on the profile of a friend’s and i just knew that this was who i wanted for my day. Josh and his wife Anyeka is just simply amazing. They end up not just your photographers but people you can consider friends. They have the ability to maintain a high standard of professionalism while still making you feel like its not business, espcially during a time that all your dealing with IS business. The quaility of work, time and energy was just what I expected… The best! Josh and Anekya was the only aspect of my wedding i didn’t have to worry about. I must say that i was blessed for having them capture my special day and My husband and I could not have been more excited and grateful to have them be a part of our day!

My wife at the time fiancée introduced me to Joshua and his wife. At first I was the typical groom only concerned with price — basically the cheaper the services the better. Eventually after some «convincing » she got her way. Since making that decision to go with Joshua Dwain Photography to do our engagement photos and wedding, I realized that it was one of the best decisions we every made .
During the wedding I didn’t fully understand the importance of what he and his wife were doing. Basically being there for every moment of our special day taking pictures of us. Capturing candid moments in time that I personally believe would have been lost if not for them. Many can relate the wedding day can be very stressful. Joshua and his wife have great personalities especially when it came to calming me down or cheering me up .
Joshua and his wife have a great vision to find/​create that breath taking photos that I feel many competitors imitate. One particular photo that stands out above all was the one he took of us on the edge of a cliff over looking the ocean. I saw the passion and skill joshua had for his work — laying down in the dirt to get that perfect shot. When I finally saw the photos of our wedding I had a brand new appreciation for Joshua and his work.
Yes, it can be a little expensive but remember good work isn’t cheap — I’m happy I didn’t comprise and hire another photographer who may not have captured our most important moments. Remember this when deciding on photography for an important life alerting event such as a wedding «Pictures are worth a thousand words» and they last forever. To this day from time to time we look at those pictures and are still amazed at the beauty of every shot and can’t believe that was us .

Wow. What can I say about Mr. & Mrs. Dwain except they are incredible?!
When we saw their work online we knew they would be the perfect team to take on our special day. However, never would I have imagined such perfect images. The expectation was high, yet they seem to exceed them.
Josh, the lead photographer, is a wonderful person — in and out. He gets to know you and your mate. My husband (wow I just said that) and I loved how he took the most extraordinary angles and made such phenomenal images. Some of them don’t seem real! It’s just WOW.
Honestly, you need to book them. Plain and simple. You want the best? You’ve found it. Book and enjoy!

«Trust» is the most important factor, especially when dealing with vendors for Weddings. Mo’ doubts, mo’ stress. JD is so trustworthy, I haven’t received my pics yet and I am already bragging about it. JD is a natural «people person» so even the coldest of hearts will warm up to him, which makes for a comfortable shoot. His wife, Anye, is his partner. They’re such a perfect team, on and off the court.
A true artist is not paid for his labor but for his vision. And his vision is priceless. I wish I could see life through his lens.

I found Josh through Facebook. A couple from my college got married and I saw their wedding photos on FB and my mouth dropped. I said, «baby look! This has to be our photographer!» So I sought him out, made an appointment and booked. Lol, it was pretty easy. I looked at some other photographers online who were also great but wasn’t the style we wanted. So I figure, if you like something why search forever when this is it! So glad we booked. :) We had an engagement shoot a few months before the wedding and were impressed then with all our photos.
On the day of, Josh listened to our requests and got most of our photos in. I’m a little sad that I didn’t get my funny photo with the groomsmen in, but being that time was flying by and the wedding started late (because of the limo company, I’ll get to that later) I understand. Josh’s work is amazing. Him and his wife and assistant Chad were great people to be around on the day. I was comfortable and happy and that’s most important. The people you choose to have around you on your wedding day is key. No one wants negative energy around them on their wedding day. Josh and his team were great and positive! This is THE most important vendor because after everything, the pictures are what’s here to stay. I’m glad our pictures will be so gorgeous forever.

We couldn’t have asked for a better photography team! Josh and Anyeka were absolutely amazing. They made us feel so comfortable and certain during the entire process and we have no doubts that we made the right decision to go with them. We could not be more thrilled with the amazing memories captured by Josh. He is a true professional, a gifted artist and a pleasure to work with. Not only were our pictures beautiful, but the team was such a joy to have around. They were professional yet fun, and artsy yet classic. We highly recommend this photography duo. You will not be disappointed!
