My favorite juice in the whole world. Everything is so fresh and super flavorful! I never tasted fruit juices/smoothies with that kind of flavor. You can even taste every ingredient inside of it. They have a vast selection of juices, smoothies and my favorite: the açai bowl! Wowww! This place knows how to make it. The blend is perfect, so light and cold to refresh your body while you are taking a sunbath at Central Park. Yes, that’s one of my favorite plans. Açai bowl to go and Sheep Meadows chilling. All the options are good but I like the classic with banana, strawberry, Hemp and granola most. The only thing I would like them to change is the amount of toppings they put because it is really small compared to the amount of açai blend. You end up eating just the açai without any ingredients and I don’t like that. Anyway it is a great meal for a hot day. You can’t go wrong with Juice Generation so any pick is a must!

Fast service, ALWAYSCLEAN and FRESH… unlike a certain ‘fusion” restaurant on the other side of the block… this PLACE, with all the traffic and ingredients involved… is fresh and spotless!!! Between the Turkish restaurant on this block and here… maybe the only best quality places to eat here…

The staff are definitely friendly and the juice is great, but the store is small and understaffed for the crowd… I’ve been here over 30 minutes waiting on a juice!

The staff is so friendly here and work their tails off. This place gets packed and hectic at times, but I don’t know how they manage to get so many orders made, correct AND with a smile. A fresh juice that really makes a difference in my day. Love it.

Definitely one of the most solid juice chains in NYC. This location is always so packed, but the clientele is forgiving and doesn’t shove.(Hey, it’s the little things!) I most recently opted for a Joyful Almond with with almond milk. It was delicious and filling without being heavy. The subtle cocoa from the cacao nibs with banana and coconut milk is certainly a winning combination.

I love this juice spot. The workers are always so cheerful and welcoming. They seem to all have a nice relationship with one another. I say that because it just adds to the experience being in there. Good vibes all around. They play cool music too. I was recently there and they had some hip hop playing from the early 2000’s. It was pretty chill to listen to while waiting for my juice. Gives the spot a hip feel. Sometimes there’s a line a tiny bit out the door but it’s all good because the wait is always worth it. This spot is consistent and I find that pretty important when paying good money for any food or drinks. My all time favorite which never fails me is the«Get Your Green On». So healthy and delicious. This is a great choice if you’re looking to have a green juice that isn’t bitter. It actually has a yummy sweet taste to it. I highly recommend giving it a try. Get the large! If you don’t, you will wish that you did!

I was in the area and was really craving a smoothie. Yes, I paid $ 8 for the mango smoothie with mango, strawberries, coconut oil, and some other things but it was delicious and satisfied my smoothie craving. I don’t even like coconut oil but I somehow loved the hint of coconut in this. You see them make it in front of your eyes and just watching them juice everything is something to watch. Nothing is from concentrate here and it’s all freshly juiced in front of you. If you want a really good $ 8 smoothie, come here. If not, stop complaining about it and go to jamba juice.

Paid 11 $ for the worst smoothie of my life. They put too much liquid and so you taste no fruit. I worked smoothie shops for years and always test places by giving them one of my own simple concoctions. Açai, blueberry, banana, kale, protein, soy milk. It’s hard to mess up. But what they made tasted like kale water. Never coming back. Way overrated.

I was walking around with a friend looking to satisfy a smoothie craving. Found this spot and it was right on. Petty solid variety of smoothies and juices. It’s what they do and it was done well. I asked to modify a smoothie on the menu, they were happy to do it, friendly service. I had the watermelon smoothie, yum.

I’ve been here a few times and have had mixed experiences. In respects to the juices, some are really great blends of different fruits and veggies, some, not so much. I’d love to tell you the ones I got that I liked but there are too many goofy names to keep straight. As for the staff, if you are the only one in the shop, then you’ll be in an out in a jiffy. However, if there are just a few other patrons, then prepare yourself for a bit of a wait.

This is the real deal when it comes to fresh juice. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had a mini-farm in the back keeping their fresh harvest. They have a little bit of everything for everyone from your ultra organic grass on the rocks to the more casual, fun strawberry and banana combo.

This place is very good. They are a little expensive but a offer a very high quality product. This is one of the first locations that they opened up, probably has been there for more than 10 years. If you don’t mind spending $ 10 on a 20oz smoothie, this is the best place to do it

Solid juice spot in the neighborhood with fast service, though definitely gets crowded and is loud inside. Came here on a Saturday and was happy with how quickly they got us in and out with our juices despite a bit of a line. I got the Get UR Green On juice, which is kale, spinach, pineapple, green apple and mint. It’s definitely pricey($ 8.95 for 20 oz) but I liked how smooth the juice was and that despite its greenness it didn’t taste at all bitter(nor was it too sweet). They didn’t totally fill it up to the top which annoyed me slightly, since it’s so much per oz, but it was so crowded that it wasn’t worth me asking about it. T got the Citrus Super C juice, which is pineapple, grapefruit, orange and mint. His was pretty sweet but wasn’t very minty which for him was good but I might have preferred a little more mint if I was him. They take credit card and you’re definitely incentivized to get the 20 oz as it’s roughly $ 1 difference between the 12oz and the 20oz, making the price point far more economical at 20oz.

I came here to NYC craving an acai bowl like crazy, and then I read about Juice Generation’s offerings and couldn’t wait to dive in. I ordered the Aloha acai, but it really let me down unfortunately. I expected that refreshing, tangy acai berry taste but received mouthfuls of coconut flavor that had an extravagant sweetness due to excessive agave nectar. Any acai flavor was pretty much absent. The fruit and granola on top were the saving graces, but I relied on them to mask the unpleasant smoothie rather than complement it. Also, the smoothie was still chunky and I unearthed a frozen banana. Not worth 11 dollars.

This place is pretty great. Maybe not the best ambiance in the world, considering you’re adjacent to a gym, but if you’re of the food-is-fuel mold, then this will do the trick. I found the smoothies refreshing, a decent selection of greens were available, and they do a good job with the cold-pressed juices. If you’re a little more of a splurge person, there are ample puddings and desserts, to boot, with clean ingredients, although replete with high calories. As an aside, there’s something un-zen about a smoothie bar, as I’m finding it somewhat 2010 now. A) Food is fuel misses the opportunity to savor the ingredients, the tastes, the textures, temperatures, smells, and sounds, b) on that last note, the grinding and smashing of the machines is not pleasant, and c) everything can be consumed so fast, and then what, off to the next work out, the job, the vacant stroll into space.

Get the PB Acai bowl best thing I’ve tasted in a while, tastier than most ice cream sundaes or froyo. The coconut Acai smoothie is also great. For healthier options supa duper greens is pretty good

It’s only been maybe 2 months, a little more a little less. and I am no longer a fan. I miss the old staff. It seems that this specific location swapped out all their old employees, and added in a bunch of inexperienced, not as friendly or efficient new ones. I really really really miss the guys that use to work here a few months back, srsly. I miss the way my Kale Kolada use to taste. It simply does not taste the same. And the last time I had a drink from here, I got a very disgusting coconut water from obviously, a very disgusting coconut. It didn’t help that the chunks of coconut meat were the size of my head either. SOYEAH. I use to be able to justify spending heaps of $$$ on juice and smoothies every other day, but now, I don’t think I would even be able to justify spending another $ 10 here. I guess I’ll just skip the juice, be basic, and stick with Starbucks.

They have great, healthy selections here, but I was turned off by the chaos and disorder inside of the juice bar. There were so many people packed inside of the tiny establishment waiting for their orders. If you don’t pay attention and listen for your number to be called, someone else may take your smoothie by mistake. The crew did their best to complete every order as fast as they could, but they need a better system to avoid the crowding.

I heart their«I heart Watermelon!» It was the perfect after yoga treat on a warm spring afternoon. And since I did NOT add sweetner, it wasn’t too sweet. It was kind of a zoo — crowded and some folks who ordered smoothies after me got their smoothies before me — but all that melted away when I was sipping my «I heart Watermelon.»

I do flirt with other juice bars not because I can’t be loyal, but if I need a juice or salad, I want organic and cold-pressed and look for what’s nearby. Yes, I’m that picky. I like to go to the UPW and found Juice Generation on W. 72nd between Columbus and Amsterdam Ave. The location is a zoo, busy and crowded. I went on a Friday at 3pm and my goodness the queue was all the way outside, and the customers inside waiting for their juice/smoothie are not conscious of others trying to go to the fridge. I love the kale avocado salad. The avocado is blended into the dressing and massaged into the kale YUMMM. The raisins and sunflower seeds on top are a nice sweet, hearty treat. I’m not sure why there are 2 slices of lemons inside. Sort of a ridiculous garnish and you can’t really squeeze the juice out of it. They’ve updated the raw food selection so it’s more appealing(especially for me). But I’m just addicted to the kale salad. Until my next kale salad fix…

Cute juice shop near Central park. I had the red dragon fruit cause of how unique it was. It was alright, a little too tart and sour for me. For a smoothie it’s about the same pricing as jamba juice but it’s a lot less sugar.
