JUICE PRESS is on a mission to be the world’s most trusted beverage, food & wellness brand. 25+ stores in NY, CT&MA (winter ’15). USDA organic. no HPP.
1. Your soup is absolutely DELISH 2. You are incredibly FRESH 3. You are really OVERPRICED I would love to come here more often, but honestly, I can’t afford it! The soup, however, is awesome and I wish they would branch off into a new company for that amazingly hot bowl of deliciousness they are serving up in there.

If you going to charge $ 9 for a smoothie, I would expect great ingredients-which appeared to be the case and great service, for me, the service was terrible. I was one of two customers in the shop, the only on getting a smoothie and the staff was too busy chatting about personal matters to make my drink and when they finally got around to it, it was like I was a nuisance. Give me a break! Bad attitudes!

I have been addicted to their LOVEME green juice and coconut water for a long long time now … the staffs are always knowledgable and helpful too. And I do appreciate the multiple locations.

Juice Press is OK, but not as nice as it was about a year ago when I first started going to this location. The store used to be much livelier, friendly and helpful staff, and they often had sales/deals on their dried fruit/nuts, which were delicious! They still are delicious, but way overpriced… as is everything here. I’ve never tried a fresh smoothie, usually stick to one of their veggie + fruit juices. The juice itself is not bad, and some of them are really tasty, but it’s hard to get past the price of $ 10/bottle. These days, the store is often out of stock on their juices, which is odd; the staff is not nearly as helpful as they used to be, which I don’t mind that much, but a little service would brighten the mood. I might be back if I have a serious juice craving and I pass by, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get here.

Used to be a regular customer even though when I went in, they often didn’t have all their juices stocked and the juices dated one to two days before — meaning they’re not fresh. When I ask, they say they’re all fresh daily. Nope, they’re still trying to get rid of yesterday’s and older juices. For the price, the juice should be absolutely fresh. Earlier today I placed an order online for juice delivery. Almost 3 hours passed, so I called customer service and was told the delivery was on the way. 20 minutes later a guy from the store calls and says most of the juices I ordered are out of stock and wanted to know if I’d like something else. Yeah… no one was on the way. I cancelled the order and won’t be back. The worst customer service.

I am trying new ways if eating using less calories. Funny way of saying I am not fat just a little on the plump size. So decided to check this place out and man the prices are quite expensive. And all items are pAckaged already and says fresh daily. If it’s fresh daily then why would you need an expiration date. Today is the 4th and my drink has a expiration date for the 8th Lol! It’s ok but I will stick to my usual spot where the make drinks fresh to order. Now that’s how I fall in love listening to the blender whir & grind my kale.

I like juice press but not this location. I have been many many times and most of the times I don’t have a good experience. It happened already that I waited 30 minutes for a smoothie, smoothies are not smooth or find hard pieces of almonds… Once I got a chia Pudding that tasted horrible it went straight to the garbage can. For the price they should make sure clients have a Great experience EVERYTIME! I love the for the love of kale salad and love at first sight green juice…

Kind of weird how if you want the cold press coffee you need to call starbucks and order it through them, pay, then have it brought to the store. Seems like a long process for a coffee but I ended up buying two products I never had before. The matcha mint latte and black label chia. Both are super delicious and coconutty and definitely satisfy a sweets craving for only 120cal(one of them might be 140)

I placed an order at 11:40am this morning and it arrived at my office at 1:40pm. It took 2 hours for juice of all things to arrive and my office is only a 7minute walk from their location. And when I called to ask why it took 2 hours? After the awkward moment of silence, the guy on the phone said, «I don’t know.» If you don’t know, you should at least come up with an apology and a reasonable excuse… not a measly…‘I don’t know.” AFTERTWOHOURS

This is gonna sound totes inappropriate for the public, but it’s the only way I could describe it truthfully… I bought a bottle of the«lait de coconut», basically some heavy coconutty shake-like drink. I don’t know. I couldn’t help but gag as I tried my hardest to take more than one sip. The drink tasted so odd and had the texture of a male’s bodily fluid(er, sorry guys), seriously. It was pretty damn gross. All slimey and gooey, white looking with a horrible taste. For $ 13 a pop?! I drank… what?! for $ 13!!! I would’ve puked if not in public. It was THAT repulsive.

My friend and I were on our way to the Chelsea Market and this place caught my eye. I got the«OMG! My Favorite Juice» and let’s just say it couldn’t be further from the truth. The celery and parsley were overwhelming and $ 11 is just a ridiculous price to pay for ordinarily very cheap herbs. The carrot juice my friend got, however, was creamy and sweet. Perhaps there are other combinations that have a better taste and price, but I definitely would rather just go somewhere else for juice.

PROS: Delicious and unique juices and raw salads/snacks, 99% organic, hot soups, strange and often hilarious graphic design CONS: EXPEN$IVE, The world’s crappiest customer service(at this location), the strange and hilarious graphic design is often hard to read It is sad but true that most of the people who work here are oblivious and idiotic teenagers. And if they aren’t teenagers, they act like them: texting, chatting, doing anything but ringing you up for your purchases. I already feel guilty enough dropping 30 dollars on one juice, smoothie, and a salad. But I digress, you are what you eat and I refuse to eat garbage. That being said, I can often stomach the cost of what I am getting, but I can no longer stomach the terrible atmosphere in the place. Nothing makes you feel like a bigger fool than dropping a load of cash on a product to be treated like crap when you are buying it. COOLCUSTOMERSERVICEGUYS! ALSO — Chalk it up to me getting older and not needing every place I walk into to be a club — its so fracking loud in there. Just give it a rest, you’ll still look REALLY cool at work. Trust me. AND be warned, this location can no longer serve COFFEE because of Starbucks so there is really no reason to go there. Go to another Juice Press(Willyburg has better customer service… in fact I was SHOCKED when I went in because they were NICETOME) and get those Gladiator Cookies and that Marinated Kale Salad. Let the other pretentious turds who shop here at this location enjoy their own store.

This place — while they use GINGER to pump a WONDERFUL odor about the area — is SHYTE. I can’t tell you how I felt ROBBED after I paid 10 $(7£) for filtered(not fresh) juice! Taste good — but HOW can you fuck up juice? This is an example of the new boring New York — trying to be posh. Go find a bodega in upper Manhattan(like a Lebanese one) who presses FRESH juice and charges you ordinary rates) AVOIDTHISPLACE ****

3.5 stars. VERY rich, tasty Raw Chocolates(3 truffles, $ 5 total), flavored with strong dark cocoa and a hint of coconut. You’ll need a LOT of water to go with these! I got mine for free with a LevelUp credit. There was also some trail mix, raisins, and kale chips for $ 5 or less here. Their sample of Ravioli was pretty good, too. Clean space. Huge flatscreen TV that shows what’s going on in the back kitchen. Good chocolate, but pricey, so I wouldn’t return without another promo offer.

You’re not cleansed, you’re just brainwashed. You’re deluding yourself, even if they’re not diluting your drink. The prices here, if you can even find them, are absurd. I’ll refrain from extolling the benefits of whole foods over liquefied sugar, however ‘natural’. Unilocal classifies the $$$$ price range as ‘Ultra High-End’, but in Juice Press’ case, it should be converted to ‘Members Only’, as this is a crushed-fruit&veg cult. Redeemed the same $ 5 LevelUp credit here(the trainee replied ‘LevelUp? I don’t know what that is’ and needed to be assisted) that was mentioned by others and all it got me was two tiny pieces of chocolate(and three samples). I also noticed I became the Duke after two measly check-ins…better get step your cult game up, sheep. I hope that someone gets my… sugar in a bottle. Returned to redeem a generous credit for some decent food — schmear and superfood bowl Transaction Amount $ 15.24 Credit Applied — $ 15.00 Total Spent $ 0.24

Damn, this place is expensive. I had $ 5 credit here via LevelUp and all the juices were still pricey. Note, the prices of the drinks are in the upper corner of the label and it’s in TINY font. So many choices in their coolers… and probably more choices in terms of freshly made stuff. I bought the Masterade, which is lemon, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper. I don’t know what I was expecting… maybe like a little kick like a michelada or bloody mary or something but this thing was SPICY! Service wasn’t as bad as everyone else has been saying… the women behind the counter were explaining my drink to me and we had a brief discussion about PayPal and LevelUp deals. I don’t think I’d be back because I can find cheaper, fresh juices elsewhere.

Hit or miss service here albeit good juices. I finally realized I could make juice just as easily at home myself with the right tools and bypass the drama llamas that work here and shop here. I can wait til I get home to my brand new chrome Omega NC800HDS5th Generation Nutrition Center Juicer– Hi Ho, Silver, away!

I work in the neighborhood, and was frequenting my local TD Bank, when I noticed that this Juice Press was right next door. I was on my way to West Side Market to get a salad, but thought, I’ll stop in here and get a smoothie instead. When I walked in there were two employees(a female & a male) at the register. I picked up a «cleanse menu» and realized it didn’t have smoothies in it, so I asked the gentleman and lady at the register where I could find the juice menu. They both stared at me like I had 4 eyes, and the gentleman pointed to the juice menu with a look like, «is there something wrong with you?» on his face. I proceeded to stand directly in front of them and declare that I was looking for a good filling smoothie, hoping they would help me or walk me through the smoothie menu, but both continued to look down & say absolutely nothing. I found a few smoothies that interested me, but honestly, I did not feel welcomed at all, in fact they made me feel like I was an outcast. I put the menu down and walked to West Side Market, I should have never stepped foot in that place & never will again. Customer service is key for places like this, and from the reviews that I’ve already read here, this place is known for their TERRIBLE customer service. I will also tell everyone in my workplace about this experience, and to never go there. Management, if you even read this site(doesn’t seem like you do), train your employees to smile & be helpful — you’re definitely losing out on key customers because of the poor service. Maybe you should stop in Liquiteria, across from the Google building on 8th Ave and check out their customer service — they have it perfected.

People can bitch and moan all they like about a bad experience. Shit happens. The world doesn’t revolve around you and your need for everything to be perfect for you constantly. The juices here are simply phenomenal. I’ve tried 3 different ones and they’ve all knocked any competition out of the water. Want a fantastic juice? Go here now.

I came out of an hr yoga class and my friend and I decided we’d have green juice. We went into a hole in the wall juicing place and didn’t like what we tasted. We turn the corner only to see a juice press, we decided to check it out. Both my friend and I looking confused as to where the menu was, o there was a fine gentlemen(the hot one with stretched ears) who greeted us and told us the story behind juice press and how juice pressed goes and all of the nutrients other juices lacked as compared to juice press. Impressed by the knowledge he gave us he let us try samples and I went on purchasing 2 doctor green juices. I must say I only drank half and I’m completely full, 11 dollars but worth it for the service and the taste. Employees looked happy and smiling. Thank you guy with the stretched ears you have our approval :) As for other people displeased by juice press, knowing the story behind it may change your mind. Just a tip guys I advice everyone to check it out! If you’re into that stuff.
