Stopped by the other day after a couple of years. The new owner was right when he said he was looking to clean up a bit and do some improvements. They were just putting down lunch on the steam table so it was nice and fresh.

The floor tiles may be sticky with grime and broken in many areas; the fridges leaky and grunting, the few working lights buzz slightly, and looking around at the dinginess of the walls and the cracks in the floor, I wonder what goes on here at night; but they do make a toasted bagel within 5 minutes or less. Much quicker than the alternative in the Holland Tunnel area(close to but not really Soho). And the cooks have always greeted me with a smile and an eagerness to please.

not sure they live up to their name but a good staple in my lunch routine. sandwiches, salads, hot food, and a small buffet leave you with plenty of options. plus they carry a ton of ice cream treats if you’re in need of a mid-afternoon snack. It’s good simple food and it’s enough to keep me going back.

I had a tuna melt with a Yoo-Hoo Chocolate drink. They serve my lunch with a smile and it was the tastiest sandwich I ever had!
