Extremely deceptive business practices. My wife confirmed ahead of time that all doctors and services were in network for our insurance. When she arrived they told her that the location was an «ambulatory surgery center» and that the procedure wouldn’t be covered under our insurance (even though the doctors are in network).
They put an extremely large amount of pressure on her to pay the full $ 1,500 out of pocket and worked to keep her from canceling her appointment. Now we’re stuck with the $ 50 cancellation fee.
I’ve filed a complaint with the Attorney General and I advise you look for care elsewhere.

I went in to see a doctor for an endoscopy. The gentleman behind the deck said the insurance is going to cover it. Month later I get 3 seperate bills for the doc, the use of facility, and the anesthesia. Now Im thousands of dollars in debt. Ask for a written estimate of all the charges and cost before you agree with any procedures.

The Ritz Carlton of endoscopy centers. This is a top notch facility. They have taken care to me since 2005. If all endoscopy center ran like this people wouldn’t be afraid to go.

The care I received here was above par. I didn’t have to wait very long, as per other reviewers. The admissions prep nurse was very kind and we talked about Yoga in NYC. The anesthesiologist was friendly, asked me about my tattoos and tried to make me feel less nervous about going under. Though, right before he injected the sleepy stuff he said to the Dr.:
«Should I ask her?» to which the Dr. replied with a slight laugh:
«Just let her sleep.»
But he carried on with his schtick anyway, which meant that the last thing I heard before going under was:
«Some people say that I look like Dracula…»
lol. Zzzz… woke up in a different room. The Dr. came in to check on me and let me know my results (yay no ulcers or anything scary) and a very attentive nurse helped me up after about 20 minutes.
Will say this. I took one star off for $. that I’m happy that I have good insurance now, because even with United Health Care I still payed a $ 150 copay, $ 75 for the prep and $ 50 specialist visit. BUT, all for good cause.
Also if you need a Gastroenterologist, Dr. Caterina Oneto is a great one with the best bedside manner possible for such a job.

I had three polyps removed. This clinic is very professional and the doctors have a lot of experience. Dr. Brandeis was named one of the best in NYC by New York Magazine. Coincidentally NY Magazine named me as one of the ten craziest in NYC. There was very little waiting time, the anesthesiologist put me under. I had nice dreams when I was under which was unexpected. Have the procedure done here and you avoid the bacteria and viruses that are in hospitals. My friend escorted me to the 6 train which I took home. Good experience overall.

Only came once but everything was cool and professional for my colonoscopy. No wait and I was out the door faster than I expected. I’ve never had such a smooth visit for a procedure.

This place is a mill. The Drs. all run late and run from procedure to procedure. Who knows it they even wash their hands. They charge more than anywhere else. You better have good insurance. They keep you waiting for hours which means your agony is really extended plus they will ask you to come back for additional procedures. Something smells funny with this place.

Unnecessary procedure that cost me $ 1200 out of pocket. These guys are worse than used car sales man.
